"How long you will take to make a simple breakfast!! The whole eternity!?" Analia's mother Mrs. Sarah Wellington shouted outside of the kitchen... "It's almost done, I am coming.." She replied and tried to move her hands more quickly than she can ever do...
Finally after few minutes she finished making breakfast and quickly went out to serve it to the dining table..
"Oh! Finally you came?! I thought it will take your whole life to make a simple breakfast!! What an useless girl!!" Her mother again scolded her... She looked down on her feet and didn't say anything...
"Princess, eat breakfast darling.. Sorry for the late honey.." She heard her mother saying to Dora, her another daughter... But, Analia didn't say a word...
Dora took a bite and said "it's not that delicious but it's okay to eat it." She said in a duh tone as if she is considering it unwillingly...
"I am sorry.." Analia said slowly...
"Sorry!! How dare you talk back to your sister!! You stupid bitch!!" Her mother shouted on her again.. Then looked at Dora softly and apologised "I am so sorry baby, you know your sister is good for nothing! Just eat it for now and I promise you I will make you more delicious foods okay?"
Dora smirked at Analia and said "but mommy she made a mistake! Wouldn't she deserve to be punished?"
"You think she deserves a punishment?" Her mother asked..
"Yes, ofcourse! I think so!" Dora replied...
"Okay, fine.. Then tell me what punishment you want for her?" Sarah asked..
Dora pretend to think for a moment and then said "I want her to starve for the day.." She said..
"Well, if you say so my princess.." Mrs. Wellington replied.. Then looked at Analia and said "as you listen what your sister wants, you are not getting any food. Now leave from here and let her eat in peace!" She hushed her from their...
Without saying any word Ana left from there and went to the back yard.. She couldn't hold herself anymore and fell down on the floor and broke down...
This is her life since childhood.. She is tortured by her own mother and sister.. Her mother hates her with all her heart because she is an unwanted child..
Twenty one years ago her mother Sarah got married to her father Ronald McKenzie.. It was an arranged marriage by their parents.. But her father was a gambler and drug addicted from the start which they didn't know before marriage... After few days of marriage her mother came to know about it and her father also started hitting her mother.. Distraught, she went to her parents and wanted to divorce him..
However, in the process she found herself pregnant with Analia which was Unwanted.. Her mother never loved her father so she didn't want Analia too.. But her parents didn't let her abort the child which made her hate Analia...
After her birth her mother didn't even looked at her forget about taking care of her... She has brought up by her grand parents.. They loved her a lot.. But her mother never asked or did anything for her.. Well, she have been told those things by her family...
Sarah got married after a year of Analia's birth with a businessman.. It was also an arranged marriage but her mother was happy in this marriage and she got pregnant again with Dora after few months of the marriage...
She loves Dora a lot... Till seven years Analia lived with her grandparents but after they died Analia has to go to live with her mother.. She didn't want to take her in and send her to an orphanage but her husband Mr. Neil Wellington stopped her taking Analia in.. He didn't hated her like her mother instead he accepted her as his own and because of him her mother didn't torture her but never cared about her too... However, after few year he died too in an accident.. Since then her mother's real face came in front of her...
She didn't talk to her before but after her husbands death she started torturing her both physically and mentally... Analia always tried to be a good and obedient girl.. But her mother never noticed it.. Her sister also followed her mother and tortured her whenever she wanted to...
Analia is now twenty year old girl.. She has been used to it.. She knows very well how her mother is but still she cries everyday.. She doesn't know why but she does.. She felt inexplicable pain everytime her mother did this to her.. She is her own daughter for God's sake!
Analia wanted to study but after her school her mother did not send her for further studies... Even she wore Dora's thrown up clothes.. Her life is a whole disaster.. But she never complained.. She still believe in love and hope that maybe someday her mother will accept her as a her daughter..
Analia fold her knees in front of her chest and wrapped her hands on her knees.. She hide her face on her knees.. All of a sudden she felt a hand caressing her hair.. She didn't look at the person because she knows who it is.. Because in this house there is a only person who cared for her and would comfort her.. Rosalind Herbert, the servant of Wellington's.. She always cared for her...
"Ana, eat it darling.." Rose called her to eat.. She brought some food for her from hiding everyone.. It's risky ofcourse. But she couldn't afford to see Ana starving.. She always did this...
Analia looked at her with her red puffy eyes.. Rosalind's heart clenched seeing her miserable situation... Since the day this girl stepped into this house she has been suffering.. She always felt pity for this poor child.. Sometimes she doesn't understand how could a mother be like this with her own daughter specially when she's her first born!! But she is also helpless and only could pray for her and she tried to help how much she could do...
"I don't want to eat Rose.." Analia said. Her voice was raucous because of crying...
"But, you have to eat Ana.. You can not starve otherwise you will be sick.." Rose replied...
Analia smiled bitterly "does it even matter Rose? It doesn't... I live or die it doesn't matter to my mother. No, it matters! My death matters to my mother.. She would be the happiest!"
"Don't say like this Ana! You deserve to be happy. And I am sure one day happiness will come to you.. Someone out there will come into your life and treat you like the princess you are. Trust me Ana..." Rose tried to comfort her...
"Life is not a fairy tale Rose I have known it since childhood.. My grandmother used to tell me fairy tales and I used to believe it. But it didn't take time for me to realise the differences between fairy tales and real life.." Analia replied...
Rosalind sighed helplessly "fineh.. You don't have to believe in fairy tales. Just eat something.. Won't you listen to me?"
Ana heaved a sighed in defeat.. "Okay, I will listen to you... But I will suggest you not to do it anymore.. It won't be easy for you if they know about it..."
Rosalind smiled "I will give it a thought.." And started feeding her.. Hiddenly ofcourse!
