Introduction
When she turned 18, she tried everything she could to attract Hendrick’s attention, but it had no effect until she spotted him inside the car with another lady sharing a passionate kiss. Anger coursed through her veins, and she didn't dare to try to get Hendrick’s attention for her again anymore. Hendrick was awestruck by Rosy's beauty when he first saw her in a bikini, and he chided himself for lusting for the lady he treated as a kid until an incident happened that they will never forget: they shared a passionate kiss under the moonlight. Rosy had no idea that will be their first and last kiss because she recently learned that Hendrick has moved to another country which is New York to pursue his studies and manage their firm. That day on Christmas eve, her heart was devastated, she felt lost, and all her dreams were shattered when Hendrick left her without saying goodbye. Seven years later, they met, but she is no longer the Rosy she used to be, and Hendrick is now the one vying for her attention. PROLOGUE:

"Kiss me..." Rosy mumbled as she closed her eyes, the wind stroking over her delicate and silky arms, the only source of light in the darkness they shared beneath the enormous tree is the light from the moon above. She had just turned eighteen that night, and she desired that this man be her first and last kiss even if she is not certain what the future holds for the both of them. Rosy intakes her breath as his lips brush against hers, her pulse pounding with joy and excitement. She parted her lips as the man kissed her and softly touched her face, allowing her to taste the booze and his luscious lips. Only now did she realize how wonderful the very first kiss was. Even though she can't see the man's face, she recognizes his look; for her, this is the greatest present he has given her and to be truly in love with and kiss the person who makes her happy for only this night.

When she opened her eyes, the man had vanished in front of her, and all she saw was darkness. She returned home that night with a hopeful heart, and her entire being seemed to be swinging in the clouds.

She doesn t know that this is the last time she will see the guy of her dreams, and she has no idea when she will see him again…

He didn't even call her when he left without saying goodbye to the girl who can always give him a distraction.

It pains Rosy because the man who became the center of her life is also the reason why her life has lost direction, her dreams of true love have been wrecked, and she cursed her first and last kiss with him…

"You told me you love me, so why did you go away?" that is the question that she wanted to ask the man who left her seven years ago and still haunt her until today...

CHAPTER 1: SEVEN YEARS AGO

Rosy was on a tree branch while secretly peeping for Hendrick who was playing basketball shirtless. She is secretly admiring Hendrick, who was both attractive and adorable. Every time her crush shoots a ball in the ring, it's as if her world revolves around him.

She's biting her nails while staring at him, and Hendrick is completely unaware that a teenage girl is staring at him from afar. Rosy, seventeen, was falling to the ground when she heard her mother yell from a distance. "Rosy! Please get down! What are you doing up there? child?" Her shock at seeing her mother caused her to be anxious.

"Wow, my mother's here..." she said while walking towards her mother.

"Are you okay? Are you hurt, I saw you falling from the tree…" Her mother asked her some questions but she couldn't answer them directly because her eyes were busy looking at the cute new neighbor.

"Mom...I am not a child anymore...dont treat me like a kid. I am a lady now, I'll turn eighteen this coming December…" she said happily and hugged her mom. She is thinking that the boy next door will be her date someday.

Her mother shook her head and glared at her "But you are still my baby...who are you looking at? Our new neighbor?"

She bit her lower lip and she gestured to her mom to lower her voice.

"Mom, lower your voice...I am shy," she said softly and grabbed her mom s hand to go inside their house.

"Rosy, You are still a kid...you need to focus on your studies. I don't want you to have a boyfriend, especially that cute man out there...he is older than you Anna." Miss Isabela said to her young lady.

Rosy take a deep breath while playing with her hair and says,

"But mom, when I turn eighteen, I will be legal and I can have a boyfriend right?"

"No...not with that guy. He is like a big brother to you. He is the son of Beatrice, remember your godmother Beatrice?" her mother said and tapped her head so that she would calm herself.

"Oh no, he is the son of my godmother? So that means that we are not able to be together? Oh, but we are not related...but I still like him…" Rosy said as she folded her arms, trying to persuade her mom that she really likes her godmother s son, Beatrice.

Her mother only laughed and shook her head at her cleverness. "If your father finds out about this, he'll laugh at you." We'll have dinner with your crush and with your godmother, Beatrice tonight.

Her jaw hung gaping as her eyes expanded in amazement.

"Does it imply I'll be able to see him and have dinner with him?" she asked her mother with excitement in her eyes.

"There's nothing wrong with admiring other people, Rosy, but you're only seventeen and need to concentrate on your studies. So admiring and having a crush on him, it s fine and just doesn t…" Her mother reminded her of something and paused a little bit because maybe her daughter doesn't know anything about Love. she just shrugged her shoulders and added "Don't forget what I told you...to be decent at all times."

When it got dark, Anna quickly showered and groomed herself so that her crush would notice her. She had no idea what his name was, so she merely sighed and decided to find out tonight. She applied a small amount of lipstick to her cheeks and lips and blended it in to make it look natural, then brushed her soft hair softly while admiring her lovely reflection in the mirror.

She had already heard the laughter and chattering from outside. Her mother and Beatrice's voices were familiar to her. She checked herself in the mirror several times; her figure was already well-shaped at such a young age. She has a stunning physique that can entice any man's gaze, and she has a model posture. That's why, at school, several males accidentally run into her in the hopes of attracting her attention and many teenage girls don t like her because of their envy and jealousy towards her.

She takes a deep breath and glances around the house to see if she will see the cute man she admires so much. She walked down the stairs gently until she came face to face with the man who could steal her breath away.

She tripped and fell down the stairs.

She locked her gaze on his ocean blue eyes, then moved on to his perfect pointed noise and pinkish kissable lips, which parted when he saw her fall.

"Ouch!" she said as she struggled to stand; her hips hurt, but she was able to stand until a warm hand lifted her up. "Are you all right, Kid?" the guy asked, his voice is baritone.

She pouted and wanted to say that she is not a kid anymore. But her eyes are sparkling when she knows that the man who helps her up is the man of her dreams.

"Uhm...I am alright," she said and gave him a sweet smile.

The man smirks at her and after that calls her mother.

"Ma am Isabel, your daughter fell off the stairs, I suggest if you could check her body maybe something is hurt with her…" The gentleman said while looking at her face that it was full of blush because everyone is treating her like a child.

"Holy cow!" her mother exclaimed.

"Mom, I am alright, it is a few steps away...nothing serious." she defended.

"Oh hello dear, are you sure you are alright? I guess you have already met my son. He can be your big brother from now on…" Beatrice said and kissed her cheek. Her eyes went wide open because she didn't want this man to be her big brother and that grossed her.

"Hello, kid...I m Hendrick. Nice to meet you so you are probably Rosy? The last time I saw you, you were crawling in our backyard playing with your diaper." Hendrick said and chuckles and so everyone is laughing right now in front of her tomato-red face.

"Oh, I'm no longer a child...how come everyone refers to me as a kid?" she said as she sat on the stairs while looking at everyone who was happily chatting and hugging each other.

She locked her gaze at Hendrick, who had taken a seat, and Rosy was enthralled by the way he rolled his long sleeves into his arms. The way he moves and the way he laughs makes her night so lovely and fascinating. While looking at the man who is now looking at her, she placed her chin on her palm. Everyone is calling her name, but she doesn't hear them because her attention is drawn to the man with the furrowed brows who, in her opinion, is the sexiest and most gorgeous man she has ever seen.

"Rosy? My dear...what are you doing?" her mother asked her and pulled her up to take her to the Dining table.

"I'm sorry for my daughter's behavior, she's very curious when she sees someone she doesn't know," her mother explained, saving her from shame.

Except for the two men in front of her, everyone else laughs. She's intrigued by the other man, who appears to be younger than Hendrick.

"Hello...you're staring right at me." I don't enjoy it when people stare at me, but when it's a lovely girl like you, I don't mind." The younger man, who appeared to be three years older than her said and winked at her.

"Eric...She is Rosy the only daughter of Isabel and James. Anyway, I forgot to introduce you to my youngest son, Eric, and Eric, this is Rosy."

"Hi Rosy cheeks, nice to meet you...you can call me Eric pie!" Eric said while he was smiling and everyone laughed.

She smiled at Eric s humor and she noticed that Hendrick just continued eating his carbonara, minding his own business and he s a little quiet, maybe because he is more mature than with his younger brother.

"What is Rosy's current age?" Beatrice asks questions about Rosy's parents, James and Isabel.

"Well, she's seventeen, but she'll be eighteen in two months, at Christmas. Damn! Our daughter will no longer be a baby..." Her father expressed his thoughts.

"Dad, I am still your princess no matter what…" she said.

Rosy smiled as she ate her food, delighted at what her father had spoken. Then she moaned when she bit into the apple pie "Hmm this is so yummy, Tita Beatrice…" She said she continued to bite the apple pie.

Hendrick swallowed his saliva when he heard that sexy moan from Rosy. 'Damn this kid. he whispered to himself as he took the glass of water and drank it.

"Oh thank you, Rosy, I know that is your favorite pie!" Beatrice said happily.

"Hmm, Thank you, godmother!"

"So Hendrick, how is your love life? You are so attractive you need to have a girlfriend." James said.

Rosy raised her eyebrow and silently looked at Hendrick and while Eric was smiling at her warmly, she rolled her eyes because Eric looked annoyed at her.

"Well, Tito. I have a girlfriend." Hendrick proudly replied, and Rosy's heart shattered like the glass she was holding shattered on the floor, and all eyes were on her.

What a pleasant night!
