* Jennifer POV *
Changing to a new area, especially into a better environment is so exciting. Carlifonia is one of America's busiet city, it never sleeps, always busy.
Luckily for me, I got admitted into 'The University Of Carlifonia', one of the best university in the country.
Not only do I get to study there but now I got to be closer to my amazing boyfriend, Frank.
We attended the same high school back in New York. He was my senior then, so he got admitted into TUOC before me, but even though we were so far from each other, that didn't stop our relationship, I love him so much.
"Since we live so close to the university, I think you don't have to stay in the school campus." My mom said as she unpacked our boxes into out new house.
My mom was so kind on following me to Carlifonia even when I told her I can take care of myself, She's overly protective of me.
My dad departed in a motor accident on his way from a business trip. I was very young then so I don't really have a clear memory of him or anything from my childhood.
When my dad died, his fortune came to us, so you can say we don't have any financial problem. I have everything I want and more. My mom works as a production manager in a big company.
"I choose this room mom" I said as I stepped into a big room.
"Sure, honey..Go and upack while I make something for us to take." She said as she left me to unpack.
I looked out from the window and i saw two black Lamborghini race past a house. The two cars were so beautiful, am not really a fan of flashy stuffs but those cars were just amazing.
"Mom, I want to go check out the estate, can I?" I asked as I picked up my phone.
"Of course you can but that's when you are done eating. Don't don't forget to take your phone with you." She said smiling at me.
"Okay, thanks." I replied.
After eating, I grab my jacket and beanie. The weather was little bit cold.
I wore my beanie over my hair. My hair is short, I have tried everything possible to make it a little longer but it just can't seem to do be which is somehow weird because my mom have a long hair.
I've already texted frank about my arrival to Carlifonia but he hasn't replied, I guess he is busy..like always. He is training to be a basketball player so he normally go to playing ground.
"You are such a man whore!" I heard someone yell, I looked, It was a girl, she came out of one of the Lamborghini I saw before.
"Go home, I'll come later, you disgust me." She shouted.
The car drove off, she looked at me and smiled and I returned the smile. She had long black and neon green hair, her eyes were also neon green, so beautiful.
"Hi, am Alice." She said as she took me by surprise and hugged me.
"Um..am Jennifer." I replied.
"Sorry about the hug, am a hugger." She said smiling.
"No problem, you are really beautiful." I said and she giggled.
"Thanks, You too.. Um, Sorry about the way I yelled back there, It's my brother, he always annoys me". She said.
"No problem, you are lucky to have a brother, am the only child." I said touching my neck.
"You are new to this estate, aren't you?" She asked.
"Yeah, I just got admitted to TUOC." I replied.
"Wow you are a student of TUCO? Me too, I just got admitted." She said as she beamed in happiness and hugged me..tighter.
"My brother has been there for a year, so I don't have problem but I can show you around." She added generating smiles across my face.
"Friends?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"Friends" She giggled and hugged me again.
"Come on, let me take you around the estate." She said taking me by my hand.
"Sure,let me...
I got interrupted by the vibration of my phone indicating that I have a text message, I opened the message, It was from Frank.
He said "Jennifer, am sorry but our relationship can't work, it's over."
What the hell is going on?
How..what..? This has to be a joke, a really dumb joke of frank.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Sandra asked as she stood beside me, I couldn't even answer.
"My boyfriend just dumped me and worst, he did it over a text." I finally speak out.
"Am sorry but I can't go for a tour today,am sorry." I added.
"But.." Before she could finish talking, I ran back to our house.
I slammed the door and leaned on it, trying to blink away the tears.
"I'll just call him, Yes, that's what i'll do." I said, picked up my phone and dialled his number but he wasn't picking.
"Ahhhh!" I screamed and threw my phone across the living room, my mom rushed in looking so worried.
"What's wrong, honey? Did anyone hurt you?" She asked and I hugged her, shedding tears.
"Whats wrong, tell me and I swear I'll....
"It's Frank." I said.
"Frank?" She asked in disbelieve.
My mom likes and trust Frank, they bond perfectly, she was happy when I told her we were dating.
"He broke up with me."I said sobbing.
"Did you see him on your way?" She asked.
"No, he broke up with me over the phone, now he's not picking up his phone. He's such a bastard, I actually loved him." I said crying. She sat on the floor beside me and started caressing my hair.
