Prologue:
Erin was so flustered that he quickly covered himself with a towel. He had the feeling that Marc would try to sneak into the room again. As if it has something to prove. That it didn't already know.
“That was quick.” a wicked grin painted its lips.
“Have you no decency? You could have just knocked before entering a room. And you even decide to invade a shower?”
It let out a smirk.
“Am I invading anything? As far as I know, I own you already.”
His ears were covered in red with embarrassment. How can it say that with that much confidence?
“Don’t overthink it. When I said I own you. Doesn’t mean on a romantic level. I see you as my slave and nothing else.” it said turning its back on him. But it stopped as soon as it took another step. “But if I ever found out that you are lying to me. It’s not only your life that I would own. I might consider taking your body as well.”
Erin’s jaw literally dropped upon hearing Marc’s threat. It sounded more like it was marking its territory.
“Bastard.”
Marc had that wicked smile as he shuts the door behind him.
It wasn’t the first time he tried invading Erin’s privacy. But that was definitely the first time seeing him almost naked. And it brought excitement to him as he had never felt before.
It’s not just about teasing Erin anymore.
You’re mine now, Erin. And not even my father can do anything about it.
He walked out of there delighted by his thoughts.
Chapter 1: An unlucky encounter.
“Erin Dale Stoke?” he smiled at the school registrar personnel as it mentioned his name. “I’m sorry, but the school committee dropped your scholarship grant. You’ll need to pay to get into the university.” his smile was instantly turned to confusion.
“But why all of a sudden?”
“It seems that you pissed the owner’s grandson. And he told the board to reject your application.”
That bastard, really!
A few days ago.
Lizzy and Reese were with him admiring the beauty of the campus. It was named Peter john Hall University. Though it wasn’t the most prestigious one in the country. Yet, it is known for people excelling in their fields. And brings honor to the university as the top contributor to society. Whether rich or poor, everyone wanted a piece of that glory it provides embedded in their portfolios.
Both of his friends had the luck of either having the money or the connections to get in. He on the other hand had to work hard through a scholarship grant. Luckily it has been he got to pass their qualifications.
They were all on their way to their respective dorms. When he bumped into a very good-looking guy. Who would’ve thought it would be his biggest bad luck ever?
He was holding a cup of red tea in one hand. That was gradually splashed on its expensive white shirt.
“I’m sorry, I’m really sorry.”
He tried to clean it using a tissue. But it shoved his hand like it’s filthier than the one he splashed it with.
“Weren’t you informed that littering here is forbidden?” it uttered in a stern expression.
“He was holding his cup when it accidentally poured on you. It wasn’t littering.” Lizzy explained. A bad-ass cosmetology student. Who was quite good at it actually.”
“I didn’t mean the cup.”It said giving his friend a cold stare. “Aren’t you supposed to be in your dorms? And not walking around like a group of monkeys in the field?”
“Monkeys?” he repeated. “Aren’t you being too rude? I didn’t mean to throw juice on you-”
“Rude you say?” it said gliding towards him. It lowered its head to whisper in his ear. “You haven’t seen me be rude yet.”
It walked past him as if nothing happened.
“Well, that was rude.” Lizzy wanted to follow on the guy. But when a pair of bodyguards approached it and escorted it into its car. They all decided to just let it go.
“Why do I feel like it’s more than just a threat?” Reese seemed more worried than him.
“He’s probably just some rich kid, who can’t help but flaunt his insecurities through their money.” Lizzy easily concluded.
“You don’t understand. My father works with their family. And that’s the reason why I got admitted here in the first place.”
“What do you mean?”Lizzy asked.
Erin felt a bit uneasy for some reason.
“Because they own the whole damn school, that’s why.”

“I can’t believe he really went through all that trouble. Just for a ruined shirt.” Lizzy offered him a place to stay at least before the classes starts.
The latter hasn’t settled in the school dormitory herself. Lizzy’s parents are always away on business trips. So, it will be more convenient if she stays at the dormitory with all the other students. But for now, they choose to stay together. Until they figure out what to do next.
“It doesn’t matter. I’m just concerned about how my family would react if they find out that I didn’t get to enroll. They’ll be even sadder than I am.”
Lizzy tried to comfort him with a hug.
“No one could be sadder than you are right now. I know how hard you’ve worked for that scholarship. Just to lose it for that single mistake of meeting that Jerk.”
Reese was quietly thinking in one corner when they both noticed him.
“I think I may have a solution for that.”It uttered in a mysterious manner.
“Well? Are you going to keep us guessing?” Lizzy on the other hand was being impatient again.
“I know a place where you can work and earn enough money to pay for your school fees. And it’s very generous to their employees as well. I’m sure they’ll let you study while doing your work.”
“Isn’t that too good to be true?” he just had to voice his thoughts.
“But there’s a catch.” Reese's words had their breath hanging in the air for quite some time.
