15 AUG 2021…..
Independence Day; a day which everyone celebrates bringing forth freedom from the chains of cruel regimes. Everyone is enjoying the least bits of the said day as one certain girl roams around the breezy-busy streets of Delhi. For a 17 years old young lady who was never able to see such wonder of the outside world, she couldn’t bear to keep her amusement seeing the different things around.
She was enjoying.
She felt the warmth of yet a busy-strange crowd.
She was there in hopes of ending the day with smiles on her face;
But then;
Lying flat on the cold-dusty floor with clothes ripped, hair undone and voice coming scratched from all the shouting, the girl was left realizing that the world will never cease to exist without cruelty happening on its people.
“Please…..please s-stop.”
She begged in pain as two men groped her hand up to her head, one man on her feet groping it tight and wide while one man on top of her taking away all the bits of her little dignity left off her. The man holding her right hand began to move and took off her pants shoving his private part to her mouth as she struggled to release herself from the chains of these demons. She couldn’t do anything; she was all but helpless. She was all but feeling so tiny in this gigantic cruel world.
Why?
Why of all people me?
She started questioning the world. Has she not suffered enough spite to even get this far experience of what seems to be the work of a devil? How can a mere 17 years old be deserving for such brutality? No, no one in this world, even at its peak of complete darkness, no one deserves such inhumaneness. But why? Just why?
In the midst of the busy and enjoying Independence Day of India,
There lays a lady,
Completely shattered,
Once full of hope with the beauty of the world;
Now in despair,
Closes her eyes and never again wanting to hope,
For anything of beauty
While never in a lifetime,
Not even a beauty will ever have the cruel world’s mercy.

INDEPENDENCE DAY is celebrated on 15 Aug. Why? Because India was freed from British Rule in 1947 of the said day.
But the question is, will the women of India ever get their freedom from RAPE?
Any answers? No… I guess no. There are a lot of questions but no one is here to give answers. Why? Ask yourself.
Do you even know that Rape is the fourth MOST COMMON CRIME against women in India? According to the 2019 annual report of the National Crime Records Bureau
NCRB
, 32033 rape cases were registered across the country.
If we saw an average, then 88 rape cases are posted Daily. In 2018, 91 rape cases DAILY. You can search on google. Only in Delhi, the highest rape case incidence happens, 1,253 cases in 2019. Still, this is going on.
Why did the girl suffer? After the rape incident, the girl and her family was affected.
We mostly hear on TVs, news, phone, instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook that A girl of 18 years of age gets raped by her uncle. If we question some unknown people to get their opinions, do you know what they say?
Maybe it’s the girl’s fault.
Why did she wear jeans when she knows that she is getting attentions by men?
It’s not man’s fault, they have hormone problems.
It’s fine really.
Like seriously guys? It’s fine? If men are having hormone problems, still they don’t have right to rape someone; never will!
Sorry to say but we cannot teach a 5 months old girl to wear a suit or saree. We cannot teach a 5 years old girl how to sit properly in front of strangers. I am not saying that all men are at fault. No…. No one is perfect. If men are not the same, then girls are also not the same.
Sorry if I hurt anyone’s sentiments by saying all this but this is necessary to know for this book is all about rape, depression, anxiety and loneliness too. It’s not just a normal love story. Me and my partner Lu wanted to give a message through this book. I hope you all will read it and try to understand the situation. You all can discuss this with your family as well. Not all boys are bad. This is for those who think that if a woman is getting raped, then it’s her fault. We don’t have to educate women; we have to educated men. Teach them lessons that we always respect women whatever and whoever they are. We don’t have right to give her a slap or do these type of things. We should educate both of them because both are equal, we are by all means, equal.

On one hand, people are gathered and are celebrating the freedom of India, on the other hand, there in sinful pursuits stood four men snatching a girl’s happiness.
On one hand, everyone is hosting a flag; dancing, eating, enjoying. On the other hand, in the depths of dark despair, someone is getting raped, devoured by 4 wicked men.
Yes, it’s a gang rape! They are raping a 17 years old girl who has no one in this whole world.
“Pleaseeeeee…..leave me…don’t do this…..ahhhh…” She is crying but no one can hear her.
4 men are enjoying fucking her but her…what about her? She can’t and never will enjoy this whilst she doesn’t even know anything about it.
“Look at her, how she is shouting” Said one man while drinking alcohol.
“She is such a piece.” Said another one who is looking at her with lusty eyes.
“She still has energy for shouting” Said the one who is holding her both hands.
“Should we give her some drug?” Said the one who is holding her hands…
“No, then we will not be able to hear her shouting. Her shouting is like music to my ears.” Said the one who was raping her as he stood wearing his pants.
They raped her again and again and she was tired, as hell. After sometime she stopped shouting. She just fell silent. She doesn’t have energy to fight with these demons.
She can’t do anything, she can’t fight now, she can’t shout, she can’t beat them. She is facing the ceiling and tears are coming out from her eyes. She can feel one man is sucking her breast, another one is eating her lips, one man is fucking her and another one is holding her hands.
AT MIDNIGHT……
When they all were done, they just threw her on the road. The temperature was rather cool due to the rain. She was just laid flat on the road. There was no one there. No one is there to help her. With a van in rush, they just left and threw her there.
What about her? Who is going to take care of her? Who is going to hold her in her arms and says ‘Don’t worry, I am here’. Who is going to say to her that you are not weak you are strong, stronger than those demons.
She is lying on the road, not even strong enough to initiate, to tell herself to stand or sit at least and look around her. She is tired. Her body is aching. By the time she felt realized how they not just raped her over again but also beaten her, the pain was already excruciating enough to even feel her body. Her clothes are torn by them; her face which looks happy by looking at the celebration has now paled; marks were visible, clearly. Her then blissful smiles from the beauty of the world has now vanished with one less vicious intent.
She has no one…NO ONE….
Rain started pouring as she came conscious. She looks at her surrounding, tries to get up but failed due to pain. She tries again and again ‘til she gets up on her feet. She looks at her surroundings yet again. Nothing seems to be clear to her due to fewer lights. She still can guess that she is near the park.
Which Park? Don’t know?
She wipes her tear first; she fixed her clothes and started to walk. In weakness, she tried. In tremendous fear, she toughs herself just so she could flee the darkness she was in but,
Where?
Where would she run off to? Where would she ever find even a dim light when everything and everywhere seems to darken by each step she takes? She herself doesn’t know.
She? Who is she? Why she doesn’t have anyone? Where is she from? What’s her name? Why no one initiated to find her when she was missing? But who will find her if she has no one, not even friends?
Maybe no. She is alone in this cruel world. Never in a lifetime will she ever feel wanted and belonged to somewhere else. She was ever alone and to experience firsthand the real definition of cruelty, she has now come to define her own kind of world;
a dark and merciless world.
Now what will happen to her?
