I am Elizabeth Jake, an 18 year old young pretty she-wolf, who lost her parents and sought revenge. The moon was low and shining silver light on the ancient city of Silvermoon. The air was filled with excitement, the scent of nervous energy mixed with werewolf musk. Tonight is the Festival of Blood, a sacred ritual that connects us to ancient nature. I stood at the edge of the clearing, my heart pounding in my chest. My friend Lara, the fierce Alpha of the Eramos clan, stood beside me. Its silver fur sparkled in the moonlight, its eyes sharp and determined.

“Elizabeth, tonight you will become one with your wolf,” Lara said in a firm voice. “Embrace the power within you and let it guide you.

I nodded, trying to calm my shaking hands. This is my chance to avenge my parents and make them proud. They were taken from me by the same curse that now flows through my veins. As the Blood Festival began, I closed my eyes and let the ancient words wash over me. I felt the change coming from deep within me, my bones shifting and my muscles realigning. When I opened my eyes, I was a beautiful, pure and untamed white wolf.

Lara and I looked at each other and for a moment I felt invincible. But as night falls, the truth becomes painfully clear. No other wolf dared to come near me. They can sense the purity in me and it makes them uncomfortable. Despair clawed at my chest. I was alone, rejected by my own people. I hoped this would be my moment of power, but it seemed fate had something else planned for me.

In the darkest hours of the night, when the moon was high, I found myself standing at the edge of the forest, tears mingling with the dirt on my cheeks. The weight of loneliness weighs heavily, threatening to suffocate me.

At this moment, a voice as soft as silk and full of sadness interrupted my depression. “You are not alone, Elizabeth.”

I turned and saw Rey Armstrong, Prince Dodritch, standing in the shadows. His eyes held pain and understanding, as if he was carrying his own burden.

“Why are you here?” I asked, my voice filled with bitterness and curiosity.

He stepped forward, his presence imposing. “I saw you at the feast. I have seen strength in you. I know what it feels like to be burdened by something you never asked for.”

I studied him, trying to detect his intentions. Rey is a prominent character, her presence demands attention. But in his eyes there was a weakness that betrayed the strength in his body.

“I come from Dodritch,” I said, my tongue bitter. Our cities have never been friends.

He nodded, looking pained. “That's true. But maybe it's time for a change.”

His words hung in the air, carrying their own weight. Perhaps there will be an opportunity for solidarity, to free ourselves from the shackles of history. But just as hope begins to rise, reality collapses. Rey's next words broke the fragile bond between us.

“I know who you are, Elizabeth,” he said, his voice full of accusations. “Your parents are responsible for my death”

My heart stopped beating, the world around me faded into nothingness. This revelation is a shock, a reminder that the past will always haunt us. Before I could react, the guards surrounded us, guns drawn. Rey's face squeezed up, both angry and regretful.

“Take her to the dungeon,” he ordered, his voice heavy with sadness

I struggled against the iron grip that held me, but to no avail. I was led away, my heart heavy, knowing that my opportunity had been taken away.

In the cold, damp cell, I stared at the stone walls, my mind tormented by conflicting emotions. I was about to find a connection, a reason to keep fighting. Now it seems that I am destined to face this world alone. Hours passed day by day, the boredom of captivity leaking into my bones. But I refused to give in to depression. I will find a way to prove that I am better than my parents' sins.

And so, with each passing moment, I plotted my escape, determined to find my own path in a world that had rejected me. The untold story of the rejected companion is just beginning and I am sure it is a story of strength, redemption and love despite all odds. The days spent in this cursed room gradually faded into darkness and dampness. Time has lost its meaning, replaced by the constant sound of flowing water and the footsteps of guards in the distance. I refined my senses, listening for subtle changes in the palace, patrols, and the jingling of keys. My resolve remains steadfast; I will not give in to the shadows that threaten to swallow me whole.

One night, when the moon was low, a familiar fragrance blew through the rocks. It was Lara, my loyal friend, her presence a beacon of hope.

“Elizabeth,” she whispered urgently. “I found a way to get you out, but we need to act quickly.”

His words cut through the oppressive silence like a blade, igniting a spark of determination in me. Together we had a plan, a daring escape that would require all the strength and cunning we possessed. When the guards changed shifts, we took advantage of that. With the agility of experienced warriors, we overpowered them, took their keys and made our way through the palace's tortuous passages.

The night air was a shock to my senses, fresh and energizing after the hot captivity. We moved in the dark, avoiding the prying eyes of the few guards who remained. Lara led me to a secret exit, a narrow tunnel cut into the bedrock beneath the palace. The path is troubled with pitfalls, but we press on, motivated by the promise of freedom. Appearing on the outskirts of Silvermoon, we hid in thick bushes, the vegetation hiding us from prying eyes. It was here, under the silver moonlight, that Lara revealed the truth that I had been avoiding for so long.

“Elizabeth,” she began in a voice both sad and determined, “There lived a one-eyed witch in the heart of the forest. She holds the answers you seek, the key to your destiny.

My heart soared at the revelation. The One-Eyed Witch is a legendary character who is only mentioned in silence. His wisdom is said to be limitless and his vision is beyond the understanding of mortals.

With Lara as our guide, we set out on a deceitful journey through the ancient forest, the trees standing tall like silent guards. It is a path few dare walk, common with hidden dangers and the lingering echoes of forgotten magic. Finally, we found ourselves standing in front of the witch's residence, a bent old tree with a piercing eye in the middle. The air was still as if the forest itself was holding its breath.

The one-eyed witch appears, her presence both strange and captivating. Her voice, when she spoke, rang out with a wisdom that seemed to span ages.

“Elizabeth Jake,” she said, her eyes fixed on me, “you are searching for the truth that has been hidden from you. The blood that flows through your veins carries a power beyond belief, a power that can shape the destiny of our species"

These words sent shivers down my spine, a revelation that resonated with the weight of fate. She speaks of the curse that befalls our cities, of the secrets woven into the tapestry of our past.

“And now, child of the Silver Moon, you face a choice,” the one-eyed witch continued, her eyes piercing the darkness. “Cherish your heritage and in doing so, break the chains that bind us.”

I looked at Lara, her expression filled with steadfast support. The road ahead was full of uncertainty, but at that time I knew what I had to do. With new determination, I turned to the one-eyed witch and nodded.

“I will complete my mission, whatever it may be. I will break the chains that bind us and create a future where our species can thrive”

Her eyes lit up with satisfaction, and in that moment, I felt a rush of strength within me, as if the forest itself was lending me its strength. With renewed purpose, we returned to Silvermoon, the weight of fate heavy on my chest. It's time to face the truth that awaits us, to face the entanglements of the past.

As we approached the city, a sense of urgency filled the air. The moon was low, casting long silver shadows on the ancient rocks. The night is busy, as if the fabric of our world is trembling with anticipation.

Rumours of my return spread, revelations occurred in the heart of the forest. The city is waiting for Alpha, its saviour. But when I walked through the door, a sight met my eyes that made me shiver. The guards surrounded me, weapons drawn and their faces grim and determined. I stood there shivering and shaking like the world is about to come to an end.
