On the bustling street, Mandy Blackburn stood before a giant electronic screen.

On the electronic screen was an interview. The interviewee was handsome with conspicuous sorrow on his face when the host brought up into the conversation a topic that was heartbreaking topic to him.

Isabel Beltran!

That was the name that the interviewee kept repeating. Isabel was the fiancee of the interviewee, and she had died in a car accident one month ago, one day before their wedding.

"Mr. Barnett, you have such deep feelings for Miss Beltran!"

The host sincerely expressed his consolation to the interviewee, Eric Barnett.

Eric's eyes drooped slightly. "Isabel is the woman I love the most throughout my life! Now that she's gone, all I can do is to prosper her legacy, the Beltran Group, with all my might!"

The woman he loved the most?

Humph!

With her gaze on the sincere face of Eric on the giant screen, Mandy couldn't help but sneer.

"What a good man Eric is! He still loves Isabel who is already dead!"

"Yeah! If I were Isabel, I would have no regrets in my tomb!"

Two young women walked past Mandy while candidly exchanging their opinions about Eric's interview with each other. To Mandy, their opinions sounded ironic.

Looked! Eric had successfully built his good public image!

Like the public, Isabel had mistaken Eric for the best man in the world. Staring at the man in the giant electronic screen, Mandy wished to tear Eric to pieces.

Through her gritted teeth, she slowly said, "Eric! You owe me! I will get my stuff back bit by bit!"

She then turned around and left without looking back.

About one month ago, the legendary figure of the business world, Isabel, had been reported to die in a car accident, but Mandy had a different story to tell about the real cause of her death!

Waiting for the green light, Isabel spotted Eric's black Maybach on the opposite lane and then witnessed the most disgusting scene in her life.

Her fiancé, the good man in the eyes of the world, passionately kissed her best friend, Lisa Dodson.

Had she given up her immediate confrontation against the cheaters, she would have dodged that car accident. Without that intentional phone call from Eric, she would have noticed the big truck hurtling towards her car from the side.

"Isabel, you saw us just now, didn't you? Want to see something more thrilling?"

Right then, the car accident happened. She remembered how it felt when blood slowly flowed out of her skull.

She thought she would die! However, an unforgettable twist happened to her fate.

She had a chance to open her eyes again, but she was no longer Isabel!

She became Mandy, the eldest daughter of the Blackburn family and the least favored member of the Rowland family who owned one of the top 300 international companies.

During her stay in the hospital, she gradually recollected the memories which belonged to Mandy. In the past month, nobody had come to visit her in the hospital. This day, she had to walk home alone because nobody had come to pick her up from the hospital.

It was easy to tell that Mandy had been a total loser as Mrs. Rowland.

All in all, Mandy had suffered a lot throughout her life. However, that pathetic story ended the moment Isabel opened her eyes again. Isabel was determined to make whoever had hurt Mandy pay the price for their blunders.

Two hours later, Mandy with the soul of Isabel finally arrived at her destination, the Rowland's. Looking at the luxurious house in front of her, she couldn't help but curl her lips up into a meaningful smile.

She took one step forward and rang the doorbell.

"Madam!"

A maid trotted to open the door for Mandy. After a bland response, Mandy walked into the house at a steady pace. A smile broke across on her face when she found nobody in the living room.

As Mrs. Rowland, she had gotten no care during her sickness in the hospital and seen none of her family on her first day back from the hospital.

"Where is Tina?"

Mandy collected her thoughts and then asked a maid who was doing the cleaning not far away.

The maid lifted her head. "It is said that there will be a charity ball tonight and that all the members of the Rowland family got invited."

All the members of the Rowland family?

Without Mandy?

Mandy slowly went up to the second floor and then headed toward the second room on the left.

"This one." She thought to herself. Before she pushed the door open, a deep and magnetic voice abruptly came from behind her.

"Mandy!"

Before Mandy came to understand what was going on, the man behind her quickly extended his arms to wrap her in his embrace.

"Kevin Rowland!"

With a long face, Mandy skillfully dodged the embrace.

Her voice sounded calm, low, and cold. "I am your sister-in-law!"

Alive, Mandy had been slighted by her mother-in-law, ignored by her husband, and molested by her brother-in-law, Kevin, from time to time. Fortunately, Kevin was frivolous in nature but had never crossed the line.

The muscular arms froze in the air.

"You... Are you Mandy?"

Never had Mandy used such a stern tone or shown such domineering vibe before Kevin.

"What do you think?"

With a meaningful smile, Mandy asked, "Aren't you supposed to be at the ball now?"

The maid had said that all the members of the Rowland family had gotten invited to the charity ball, so Kevin was supposed to be away from home as the others.

"I am leaving for that!"

Kevin was simple minded because all his doubts had been easily eased by this topic.

"I hate the events like this! To make things worse, it requires a date!"

Mandy gave Kevin a compassionate smile. Isabel disliked the charity balls too.

"Isn't it a piece of cake for you to get a date? The women who wants to attend the ball with you can fill up a stadium, I believe."

"Am I not asking for trouble if I attend the ball with those women?"

As a playboy, Kevin was afraid that his date would get the wrong signal from their attendance to such an event.

With his head down, he seemed to be in a dilemma. Meanwhile, he failed to notice the fleeting light in Mandy's deep eyes.

"I think there is one candidate who won't cause you any trouble!"
