My phone rang beside me and I quickly picked it up. Mrs Krishna. I just hope I got the job.

.....‘ Hello Miss Mia,you got the job to work ass Mr Jade's daughter babysitter.... the address of the house will be sent to you shortly. ’

‘ Oh my sweet Jesus!!! thank you... ’ I squealed happily and she let out a short laugh.

The call hung up and I did a fist bump in the air happily.. I better share the good news with Gia.

‘ what's the noise all about? ’ I heard Gia say. Her eyes were puffy and her face so pale. What a crazy sleeper she is.

‘ I got the babysitting job! ’ I said excitedly. Her eyes widened as she jumped on me!

‘ Oh em gee! Congratulations bestie. ’ she said with a smile then my phone beeped.

‘ She must have texted the address ’ I muttered and picked up my phone. Oh right. The job address. ..

‘ you'll resume work today by twelve pm ’ I read out...

‘ I'll miss you bestie, I'm gonna resume work too at Hudson's company ’ Gia said and we hugged.

‘ it's eleven pm, I got one hour more to prepare myself ’ I said as I glanced at the wall clock.

‘ Alright. I'm resuming work on Monday.

I wish you could stay with me till Monday, I'll get bored at home ’ she said sadly.

‘ cmon, you know I need this job. we could get rich soon ’ I said.

She chuckled.

‘ we're twenty five and not married yet. ’

‘ fuck being married. I love being single ’ I said and she gasped.

‘ we ain't getting any younger ’

‘ I gotta go get ready ’ I said quickly and went to the room.

In few minutes, I was done packing up my stuffs and dressed in a black gown that stopped by my knee.

‘ bestie ’ Gia sniffed and hugged me tightly.

Tears tickled my eyes as I hugged her back.

‘ I'm gonna miss you ’ I said

‘ give me a call when you get there ’ she said with a small smile.
