Arianna a beautiful but nerdy 25 year old girl who lost her parents at the age of 17.After that she was forced to live on her own and took on some part time job at a cafe to complete high school.High school for her was hell she was bullied by others because she wore clothes that looked like they were picked from the trash , of course who wouldn't bully her when she looked like she was like she was lost.At times she thought it's better to just commit suicide rather than face the world that hated her so much.She would go to school sit in the corner of her classroom and in the corner of the cafeteria and she nevery parcipated in any after school activities because of her part time job.But things become hard when she completed high school despite getting good grades and apply to most colleges for scholarshipsale it was impossible to get one with the corrupt world it was either they asked her to pay to bribe money or sleep with them as if that wasnt enough she lost her job at the cafe because one of her wokemates was jealous about how much the boss favoured her because of her hard work.So she set her up and accused her of theft.
"Well my life iso over!" she said to herself out loud definitely my landlord will chase me i will be homeless she thought.
The next morning
She woke up in the morning , brushed her teeth , took a bath and got dressed up to look for a job , then before she could leave the phone she heardrum her phone ring, immediately she rushed to pick up the call
"Hello." She said
"Hi , Is this Arianna?" A man's voice from the other said
"Yes" she said.
"This is your late fathers friend Benjamin," he said.
"Uncle Benjamin" she replied
"How have you been ? In fact forget about that let's meet up at the old cafe near town in an hour." He said then he cut the call.
Uncle Benjamin was the only friend of his dad that supported her , he use to send her money after her father's death to help her with school unfortunately he broke down his communication when he went abroad for a job it was much but it was keeping him.
At the cafe
I sat waiting for him idolly cause I couldnt afford to order a latte , the moment I saw him in was so excited he was the only family I had so it was a relief to see him after all this time. He was excited to off course after been alive for all that time he would be. He sat beside me and greeted me he ordered coffee and some scones as we sat and made conversation.
"I have been looking for you my child , it's unfortunately that I couldn't reach earlier. I was abroad my dear for my work is had to come back when your aunty passed away.luckily my boss transferred me her that's where am working at the moments hotel." He said "enough about me tell me about you my dear."
"Uncle where can i start, my life hasn't been easy I lost my job. My rent is due to expire in a week am looking for a job."
She said.
"Don't you worry my child , I will help you get a job at the hotel is work and you can move in with me.You know ever since my wife died the house has been empty." He said.
"Ok uncle I will move as soon as my rent expires," she said.
After that they had their coffee and she said bye and she went home and waited for her uncle to call her to inform her about the job.
After getting home she decided to do laundry, and decided to take a nap hoping everything would be okay after her sleep.
After her nap she woke up and decided to eat something.After eating some noodles she prepared she took a bath and sat down on her bed and decided to read read a book, then she heard a vibration on her phone it was a message from her uncle saying she was given a job at the moments hotel as a cleaner please report tomorrow.
