Ryan Khan was never normal, from the time he was abandoned as a child at the doorstep of the Living Hope orphanage, Ryan always had to fight to survive. He was different then the other orphans with his White Hair and Olive coloured skin. He stood at 6ft tall with a medium sized build at the Young age of 17. His appearance had made him the outcast of the orphanage.
.......................... Ryan woke up early in the morning to look for scraps left out by the orphanage cook as he knew that he wouldn’t get anything at breakfast as the other kids always stole his food from him, The cook Gertrude Han was an older women who always took pity on Ryan and left scraps out for him every morning. Ryan enjoyed his morning conversations with Gertrude Han as she would teach him how to cook and prepare different types of food and talk about her life experience with him as a traveller before she settled down and became a cook. This was Ryan’s favourite time of the day and would usually help her with the clean up of the kitchen while she told him her stories. His favourite story was about the Ancient Magic Kingdom that most people thought was a myth, Gertrudes Ancestors had passed these story’s down to each generation of the family since ancient times about the ancient kingdom and she found joy in telling Ryan about the story’s and watching his face grow in excitement, Gertrude had no children of her own and could be seen as treating Ryan as her own son which lead to more issues with the other orphan kids. The stories captivated Ryan’s imagination during the rest of the day and made him look forward to the next mornings storytelling. He imagined having magic ability’s and being a strong leader in the ancient times and what it was like to command an army of mages and warriors, the other kids would make fun of him when they caught him playing as a general so he would do it in secret. He had a dream of being a General but being an orphan and not Royal blood or HighBorn left him with no option for him to become a general or enrol in the kings army but that didn’t stop Ryan from visiting the Highborn Training Ground which he would sneak on top of the walls to watch the young High borns and Royals training to become high level members in the Kings Army. Ryan’s day was always a routine of waking up in the morning for food and stories, then he would wonder to the training grounds and watch in secret, at lunch time he would sneak away before he was caught and try and find small jobs to earn money for himself, One day things changed for Ryan and it was the start of his destiny.
