I never thought a group of friends would kill one of my bestfriends, because of something she didn't intend to. No one listened to her but me and the other friends she trusts, she's gone because of the bitches who killed her. Who told her to kill herself or 'go to china to get infected by the coronavirus and then die.' She's one of the best things that ever happened to me and now, she's gone… for real this time.
I have a list of people who did it, and I have something that she wanted me to give them one... by… one.
I have already sent it to Auckland and the Philippines, and I just have to wait for them to react. They killed her and they're going to pay for what they did to her, by hearing and seeing her one… last… time. I'm on my way to the Post Office to check if it is already delivered to one of them, and I hope it did. I'm doing this for my bestfriend.
"Hi, I'm Xia Fuji, I'm the one who sent one envelope each to Auckland and the Philippines?" I said to the guy who works from the Post Office, he looks at me and types down to the computer and looks at me, "Yes, yes you did. Auckland has finally received your envelope, ma'am." He said as I smile at him and nod.
"Thank you. See you around." I turn my back and smirk. That person gets their emotions ready, 'cause this is one hell of a rollercoaster. They're going to regret leaving my bestfriend to a dark bubble and not helping her when she needed someone the most, they're going down one by one. Auckland friend hurt my bestfriend, mentally and emotionally especially her mental health. They broke and destroyed her, and now I'm doing what my bestfriend told me to do before she died.
When I come home, I went to Twitter and see some drama and shit going on, but no. The first thing I see was the person's picture of my envelope and the thing she received from me. They asked who's it from because there was no return address, and no name from who but theirs only.
This is only the beginning of the plan my bestfriend did, and it's starting. They're all going to freak out, lose control and lose their minds, just like how they did to her and I'm here for it.
I play innocent and reply below, asking who's it from as I turn off my phone and lay down on my bed. "There's enough sunshine for everyone, but you and the others had enough. It's time for the nightmare to come visit you all, one by one." I smirk as I look at the ceiling.
Her parents didn't have a funeral, they didn't want to. I could've been there and see her one last time, but stupid me, I'm younger than her and I need one of my parents to come with me. Someday, I'll visit her grave. I promise that. My phone vibrates as I open it and see our friends chatting in our Instagram groupchat, she made this after she was being accused, hated, and called names on Twitter.
No one saw this coming, neither our friends too. She just stops dming the groupchat, and that's when I knew, something's wrong.
I have the second set of the things she made for the people who caused her death, her rules are so simple to follow, but if they don't follow them I'll release these babies in every social media they have, and I ain't afraid of releasing it. If they think she didn't die and lie everything she said, well, they better not think that 'cause I ain't lying when I said I'm not afraid of releasing these babies in a heartbeat.
I get up and get the second set in my drawer, the notebooks, and the sd cards. I look at them one by one and saw the name of the first person on the list: Mila Mullen. The girl who broke my girl's heart and into pieces.
M I L A ' S P O V
I'm currently chatting with Izzy, Sabina, Ruby, Grace, and Mikayla on the groupchat on Twitter, my mom just picked me up from my after-school club. The girls and I are talking about Katie Hargreeves, the girl who faked her death on us. She's now no longer our friend, and my ex-girlfriend, I still have her number on Whatsapp, and she's still blocked.
I gave her so many chances to stop being a bitch, but no. So, I called my two friends from school, well... one, 'cause the other one doesn't know what's going on, so she left the groupchat I made for Katie, me and my other friend.
I love how my friend roasts her about going to China and get infected by Coronavirus in Wuhan! God, my blood was boiling and I'm so happy that my friend did that! I don't care about Coronavirus, all I care about is her to grow the fuck up and stop being a bitch. When I get home, mom told me that there's an envelope waiting for me in my room, so I run to my room, hoping it's Sabina's letter.
I went to my desk and see it as I sit down and open the envelope. I didn't know how to react to what I just see, eleven sd cards, and one purple notebook. I put out my phone from my pocket and picture it, putting it on my Twitter account.
People keep asking who's it from, but I look at the envelope... there was no returning address. I quickly DM the girls and ask if one of them gave these to me, but sadly, no. I grab my laptop from my bag and put the sd card as I wait to open it.
I check the sd card's folders but there is none, but I see a purple folder. It has four audio files, but big files. The audio files have their title, but they're the letters of my name. The first one has 'M', the second has 'I', the third has 'L' and the last has the letter 'A'. Who would give these to me? And what are these for? This is fucking creepy, but also, I'm curious what's on these audio files. I play the letter 'M' 'cause that's probably the first one, right?
"Hey, it's Katie. Katie Hargreeves." Holy shit. No, not this again. I pause it and progress myself to what I just heard.
She's not dead, she's faking this shit again, I know it. I grab my phone and go to the Whatsapp app, I unblock her number and text her: "You're not fucking dead, don't play dumb with me, bitch." I wait for her to respond but it seems like she didn't. I went to Twitter and ask the girls, but I was too late to ask. Because Sabina has one too. I look at my laptop one more time before pressing the space button to play, I sigh as I inhale and exhale.. and play the rest of the first audio file.
"That's right. It's me, live and in stereo. Get a snack. Settle in. Because I'm about to tell you the story of my life. More specifically, why my life ended. And if you're listening to this file you're one of the reasons why. I'm not saying which file brings you into the story. But fear not, if you received this lovely little envelope, your name will pop up. I promise." This is bullshit, I check Whatsapp again to see if she replied, but she didn't.
Her last text was: "I'm already sorry, what the fuck do you even want me to do?!" That was December 17, 2020. 10:26 AM. Almost two weeks ago.
I received an email about three days ago, and I thought it was her, or maybe it's her. It said: "There's enough sunshine for everybody, but you have too much. You have to face the nightmare sometimes, Mila." Of course, it has to be Katie.
She's the only person who knows my email. "The rules here are pretty simple. There are only two. Rule number one: you listen. Number two: you read. Hopefully, neither one will be easy. It's not supposed to be easy, or I would have emailed you everything instead. When you're done listening to all four files because there are four sides to every story. Read the notebook. Or, you know, just throw the notebook away and I'll never know. Or will I?" I look at the notebook and it's purple. Her favourite.
I read the first page and the first thing I see is: "Alexa aka Mila Mullen, killed her Katie." My eyes grow wide as I quickly close the notebook. I did not kill her, she killed herself!
"You see, in case you're tempted to break the rules, understand I did make a copy of these audio files and the notebook, and I left them with a trusted individual who, if this package doesn't make it through all of you, will release those copies in a very public manner. Especially social media. This was not a spur-of-the-moment decision."
"Do not take me for granted. Not again."
