Audrey and Aubrey could be seen pacing tho and fro in their less lavish living room. Audrey strolled to a side of the living room, sat, and laid her elbow on the dusty table, placed at the center of the small room. While Aubrey sat dejected on the wore out couch positioned at a corner of the living room.
One could easily tell how impoverished they were.
"Don't you dare try to touch me" they could hear their mother shriek, her voice echo filling the room.
She came into view hauling her bag with her as she made her way to the living room.
Seeing their mother the two girls sprang up standing at alert.
" Mom where are you going with this"? Audrey query, staring at the bag beside her mother.
That moment their impaired father peddled his wheelchair toward them weeping silently with his sights as red as crimson.
Aubrey proceeds to stand beside him, as she glimpsed her father is In tears.
" Mother, what's going on? And where are you going with your load at this time of the night?" Audrey inquired stand before her mother with hand akimbo.
" Look Audrey I don't have any business with you two. I'm dealing with this man here and I can't take it anymore so I'm leaving this damn house" she roars yanking her bag toward the entry.
regardless Aubrey flew after her, she pulls her back deterring her from stepping out.
" Mom. Please I beg of you don't leave. I understand Dad must have done something to outraged you but just look at us, what do you assume will become of us if you decide to leave.. mom please don't go" Aubrey plead and tug at her arm as she sobs loudly.
" Nothing will happen to the both of you. You ladies are no longer a kid, you're 16 already and I believe you two will take care of yourself and your living dead father when I'm gone. My absence won't be an obstacle I guess" she let output with scorn.
" Emily, what's with this sudden insanity act of yours? How could you think of living us, your husband, your twin daughter, your family, your home why? Why Emily? I've always loved you all my life, you've always been my priority Emily, you love me we love each other. So why all this Emily? Is this how far your love can go?" Mr. Davis

yells loudly holding tight onto his shirt as tears find their way from his eyes, stropping down from his eyes uncontrollably.
" Oh! Love you said?" She chuckles drops her bag and faces him, strolling toward him she squat to his level holding his shoulder in her hands as she stares deep into his eyes. She twirled her head and stood up upright.
" The only thing I adore most in this life is fortune, I only agreed to marry you back then because you're loaded. But unfortunately, I halted loving you the day you lost your job as a merchant banker, I stopped loving you on the night I was told by the doctor that there's no hope for you to stand on your feet, on the wheelchair you shall remain till the inevitable quiet end. Look I'm sick and tired of deluding to adore you okay. I can't resume being with an impoverished poverty-stricken man like you" she spat negligently...
She strolls toward where she abandoned her bag she pulled it up and made to open the door when Audrey's voice stops her from doing so.
" Mother. Do you have a heart at all? You're just like a wall with no heart. Do you care at all, I cursed the day I knew you as my mother, how could you said such with no remorse, you're just a hellish being a disgrace to the womanhood" Audrey yell in anger, and Emily hit her hard on the face which made her hold her cheeks turn red.
" You dare hit me, mother?" Audrey inquired caressing her cheeks with her palm.
" Yes. I do and I would do more if you don't stop being a brat" Emily said angrily
" Leave my daughter out of this Emily, she's not responsible for my misfortune," Mr. Davis said peddled his wheelchair toward them and tried to touch Emily but she slapped his hands off.
" Lucifer first child, that's what you are Emily," Audrey said and her mother dash toward her but Aubrey step between them dragging her sister back before getting another slap.
"Just so you know, I regret ever giving birth to you two, I should have just aborted you both when I have the chance and I'm saying it right here and right now. I disown you two, you don't have a mother and I don't have any child either. This way let us not cross paths in the future. You all can go to hell for all I care " Emily said
walking out of the house and shut the door hard which made the two girls flinch...
" Emily nooooooo " Mr. Davis yell out her name trying to stand and flee after her but his leg failed him, he falls and hit his body hard on the ground. For the first time in 6years, he forgot he couldn't walk again.
"Ahh" he wails in pain and his twins' daughter dash toward him.
They bend down to lift him, it was fruitless at first but after much trial they both successfully lift him and place him gently on his wheelchair, and peddled him slowly, taking him back to his room...

Audrey left his side when they got to the small room he shares with their mother, she hastily rearranged the mattress and signal for Aubrey to bring him.
They tugged at his arms and made him sit on the mattress and cautiously lift his legs on the bad, lay his back well on the bad, and cover him with the blanket...
" You should rest now p-man" Aubrey stated and their father gave a faint smile.
"About your mother......" He was about to start a chat when the two girls interrupt him.
" We understand Dad, we don't want to talk about it," they both said In unison which made their father let out a long sigh sadly.
" I get it must be really hard for you two that your mother is not coming back for us, but I strongly believe you guys can be anything without her. No matter what you face, no matter what you do always know that I love you" he utters and grab hold of their hands and made them sit on the bed beside him...
" Dad I think you should rest okay," Audrey said.
She hastily stood up peck their father on the cheeks and rush out of the room, Aubrey did the same and ran after her.
Mr. Davis let out all the tears he has been holding back, he let them fall freely not bothering to wipe them, I dip his hand under the bed and glance at the poison bottle in his hand before dropping it under the pillow he lay his head-on.
He shut his eyelid hoping to fall asleep and after what seems like forever, he eventually drifts to dreamland...

The beeping noise of the alarm woke the of the girls up from her deep slumber.
Audrey reaches for the alarm from the edge of the bed, she taps it twice and it stopped buzzing.
She glances at Aubrey who's still sleeping soundly beside her, and she gave her a light knock on her head which made Aubrey flung her eyes open.
" Wake up sleeping beauty," Audrey said rolling the duvet off their bodies...
" I'm up already, stop being a drama queen," Aubrey said with an eye roll.
Audrey got down folding the duvet while Aubrey sat tiredly on the bed stretching her figure lazily.
" Stand up, will you? I need to tidy up that place" Audrey stated pointed at the bed. Which made her earn a frown from Aubrey
" stop being a bone," Aubrey said and stand beside her sister and watch as she's putting things in another...
" You know you should try to be valuable even it's just once. You can't just stand there like a sculpture, you should get yourself occupied with something" Audrey gushed and Aubrey just cursed her with a charming smile which made Audrey tooted.
" What should we have for breakfast?" Audrey asked and Aubrey thinks for a while before finally gave a response.
"Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich" Aubrey beamed, clapping her hands in enthusiasm and Audrey just chuckle at her childish act.
" Sorry kiddo we don't have ingredients for that" Audrey said Aubrey enlarge her eyes like a frog.
She feigns an attack, she chops down flat on the floor and Audrey rushed to her.
" Aubrey are you okay?" She leans low and places her ear on her chest to check if she's still breathing.
"Aubrey wake up please" she cried out tapping her cheeks, she made to touch her again when Aubrey sprang up chuckling like an idiot.
" You idiot, did you just prank me huh? Aubrey quits this bonkers act of yours. Must you always be a maniac?" Audrey yells as tears drop from her eyes as she felt she just made fool of her.
" Yo! Kiddo you're just a scared feline," Aubrey said and Audrey throw a cushion at her and she grabs it with a smile.
" it's not funny to me Aubrey, why are you grinning," Audrey asked with a scowl
" Frankly speaking I didn't know it got you. I was only kidding you know" Aubrey said with a tragic tone and Audrey just bobbed her head.
"I'm pretty sorry." Aubrey cried out.
