Bits frowns when and opens his eyes.
After opening his eyes he wanted to close them again in a panic.
But it is unable to do that.
Bits can't move despite his mind wishing he could run away.
In front of him are huge mechas he only seen in games standing tall in front of him.
Mechas that are more like the old 2D versions with it's unsophisticated designs from the 90's.
Yet those are not real, while now, they are standing tall making waves of strong wind as they fought each other.
The green mechas vs the black mechas.
The black mechas looks sinister.
Maybe they are the enemy.
Bits shakes his head.
He should not be thinking of who is looking sinister at this time!
He wanted to stand up and leave.
There is so much debris all around him.
The buildings in the surrounding were destroyed. There is fire at some part.
The more pressing part is….he is the only one around!
Inside the green mechas. A soldier found their target.
"Captain! I spotted your wife in 4oclock!"
In the midst of fierce fighting, a green tall mecha runs to the coordinate and sees the man he was looking for.
Clicking his tongue.
Larry wanted to grab this guy and so we can all fall back from the enemies base.
But Larry who slowed down his movement suddenly felt a sense of fear.
The black mecha loses footing and will fall down the unmoving man.
Bits is scared at the weirdness of this place.
But more than that.
He is amazed that despite his trembling and worry. He didn't turn back into his original form. A slime.
Yes.
Bits is actually a slime that lives in the world like an otaku, never revealing himself to the world.
He is not a normal human.
And to the world where people thought all demon beasts are monsters, if they find out he is a slime, they will hit his core and kill him.
Though he is the lowest type of demon beast.
He has leveled up all his basic skills and can easily protect his core.
What normal adventurers don't know is that slime like him whose only weakness is his core also has a very good affinity in mental power.
As a hundred thousand year old slime. He can even turn into a human and mix in human society. He has been hiding his real identity a secret and lived like this worrying when will his cover be revealed.

That's the only explanation why now, Bits is actually inside another body that does not belong to him.
He is so confused.
At first he wanted to think that he was dreaming.
But a small sand entered his eyes and he felt pain. Tears started pouring out as he scratched his eyes.
If he is still in his slime body, a small sand will only be absorbed to his body even if it's in his eyes.
Slimes don't have eyes.
They use their mental power to perceive eye sight, smell, touch, hearing and taste.
But right now his eyes sting because of a small sand.
As he rubs his eyes he didn't notice immediately about the falling mecha.
"Bits, Run!"
A worried voice echoed in Bits ears.
This voice made his heart flutter a bit.
He searched where the voice came from but then he saw a black mecha trying to crush him.
Bits open his eyes wide in shock.
Then he used his hand to release his mental shock ability to repel the falling mecha.
He didn't expect it but instead of being repelled the mecha disintegrated.
And only the human inside piloting and some parts remain intact.
Everyone was shocked.
Even Bits.
He doesn't understand what happened but it seems his mental shock power made the metal used in mecha turn into dust.
The soldiers, the enemies, even.the captain stop moving and all stare weirdly at Bits.
Bits felt he was being hated.
He hugs his body.
He is a coward slime.
Even if he has a lot of mental power.
He knows that he is the weakest demon beast that even a toddler can kill.
His core even if slightly shaken will kill him.
Looking at his scared and trembling expression, Larry finally moved and ran to grab him.
Bits is so scared and wanted to use his mental shock again.
Seeing him frantic, Larry felt a lot of headache.
"This is me, Larry. You are saved now."
Bits doesn't understand but it seems the voice from before comes to the pilot of this green ugly mecha.
Since the person inside said he is saved now. It means he is not an enemy and he is very relieved.
He wanted to ask so many questions but the pilot of the green ugly mecha was busy.
He shouted in his team through the link line his next command.
"I have our target. Pull back!"
Everyone shouted, 'Yes'.
At the same time.
Then their mecha starts flying in the sky.
The black mech tries to follow but another green mecha turns around and uses a black ugly gun to explode the pursuit.
Then they finally enter the galactic space war ship.
Bits is still dazed where he was and what is happening when he is grabbed by the shoulder tightly.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FREAKING MIND?!"
A golden haired man with blue eyes glared at him.
Bits feels his core is getting shaken.
But he is no longer a slime.
Bits fearfully close his eyes.
Seeing him like this.
Unlike his previous angry cat-like demeanor made Larry guilty.
It is not entirely Bits fault.
Larry sighs and lets him go.
Bits is still trembling.
He thought this person is kind.
But he is also mad at him?
Did he find out he is a demon beast?
Tears were threatening to fall.
Larry shakes his head.
"Don't cry." He softly said.
Holding his hand.
"You are saved now."
'Sweet then spicy. Bits doesn't understand this man at all. But to all the people around, he still knows that this person who is cold and hot with him is actually his only ally.
As a slime who uses his perception to 'see' and 'feel', he is aware that everyone else feels mad and angers at him.
Only this guy is not despising him.
