We are in court today for the case of Elliana-Jade Bayliss and her involvement with the murder of Carter Manning.
The murder of a girls ex-fiancé was a headline in every paper and was plastered all over the news. A revenge plan gone bad was what they called it. She claims that she wasn't part of anything but evidence says otherwise. What detectives have put together is a plan that was just troubling to read. The aftermath always set to end up in an 'innocent' man losing his life.
The family of the man have come forward with their own statements. There were mixed feelings towards the woman in question but all of them seemed to agree with one thing. She was anything but happy with him the last they had been seen together. And It would be an understatement to say his death would have been an easy job.
Along with evidence, a diary written by the suspect. It describes a plan that could only be described as pure evil. But throughout every entry the narrative remains that what she is doing is justifiable. Almost as if she believed that what she was doing was the right thing. Although she didn't look like a criminal, she definitely had the brain of a mastermind.
A mastermind that was dumb enough to get caught.
But she was my idol and I would risk anything to be like her. My fascination with this one case being more of an obsession. What drives people to such extents? What leads up to the point where murder is the only option?
That's exactly what I want to find out. And I will solve this case if its the last thing I do.

The letter was unsettling for Elliana to read. A brief summary of what caused her to end up where she is now. Sitting alone in a cold prison cell letting hours tick by. She hadn't felt freedom in ten years so the letter also confused her.
Just the idea that somebody had researched and done a deep dive into her story was something truly out of the movies. And it brought up so many old emotions, repressed for her own sanity. It was all so strange. Could she really hold on to hope all because some random person sent her a letter?
Who cared enough about what she did to research every little detail to get to the bottom of it?
But in a way it made her excited, excited to see if this person really could figure out the mystery of the 'revenge lane' murder. Could this person gather enough information to put together the big picture. How the murder was really committed. What really lead up to the killing of the 'defenceless' man.
A super-fan of a murderer. A peculiar thing, but it was all about time. Could this Anonymous really solve her case ten years later?
I guess we'll just have to find out.
