During a struggling morning in Violet City, Jede Kaballa ran out a small alley to hurry to his school on time before the tardy bell rang. When he arrived near the gates of the school, the bell finally rung, and the fearless young man ran as quickly as he could to his class.

Later, the young boy Jede rushed into the school's large cafeteria and sat down at a table with his friends Desoto Martin, Joey Spade and Relena Haruno.

"You were late again, Jede!" cried Relena while she brushed her long blond hair with a small red brush.

"Hey! I was at the door before the bell even rang," lied Jede.

"Yeah, right Kaballa," commented Desoto. "This ain’t yer third time dis week."

Jede turned to Desoto who sat across from him and he said, "Sue me, Desoto!"

"At least you didn't get in trouble this time," said Joey who sat by his cousin Desoto.

"Or worse -- Expelled!" added Desoto.

Relena quickly looked up and yelled "Hey have you guys heard about the test scores on the F.D.M.E. we had last week? It was posted on the main computer screens today!"

"Nope," replied Desoto. "But let's go up to the computer while we got time."

"Okay then," agreed Relena.

"Ah crap!" Jede cried in fear.

And the four teens left the cafeteria.

Meanwhile far away Planet Marinear Bay, a large black ship shaped as a circle flew in space. This ship was big as a castle and fast as a firefly. Inside the ship were armies of the most fearsome creatures in the galaxy. And among them were their two leaders. One of them was a young man with long dark hair and look identical to the young teen Jede. He wore a maroon gi with no sleeves and had a picture of a winged black creature on the left side of his shirt. He also wore a pair of shiny black bracelets around his wrists, a pair of maroon pants with a silver belt, and had on a pair of long black boots. The other man who sat down was an elderly giant wearing a black suit with a pair of long shoulder pads. He also wore a silver pad around from his knees to his ankles and had on black shoes. He had long dark hair, a pair of light-blue eyes, dark skin, and he wore a large golden crown on his head.

The giant sat on a small cushion drinking a glass cup with reddish-brown liquid while the determined young warrior stood by his left. The young warrior stared at the large viewing glass while he held his left fist up.

"Koda," called the giant god named Dahak. "Why are we heading to one simple planet called Marinear Bay, the one with the weakest mortals in the galaxy?"

And the young man named Koda answered "To take care of some unfinished business with an old enemy of mine Grandfather."

Next, Koda flexed his left fist and turned to Dahak.

"After I am done with this fool," Koda shouted in anger. "I WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING ON THAT PITIFUL PLANET!"

And Dahak began to giggle softly as Koda raised his left arm up.

Later at the Violet City High School, all the students ran quickly to the main hallway and looked at their test scores on a giant monitor on the wall.

The students Jede, Desoto, Relena, and Joey saw their scores and started talking amongst themselves.

"Yes!" Desoto cheered. "I made an 85 on the exam!"

"That's great, Desoto," cheered Relena. "I made a 90!"

Jede found his test score on the monitor and cried "Ah man, I made a 60. I totally hate my life."

"Calm down Jede," said Joey. "You just need to study harder and you will do well next time."

"When my mother sees this," Jede cried. "She is going to let me have it."

"Well it could be worse," said Joey. "You could have failed your photography class, and I know you wouldn't want that."

"That's true," said Jede.

Desoto gave out a wicked grin and said "Poor Kaballa! One more grade like this then the principals are gonna drop you!"

Jede quickly turned and he shouted, "Say that again Desoto and you are going to wake up next to a dumpster."

"Calm down guys," cried Relena.

"Yeah," Joey said calmly. "We don't have time for one of your bitch fights."

And Relena replied "Come on Desoto. Jede might be in deep trouble this time. We all should help him somehow."

Then Desoto folded his arms and told Joey and Relena "Fine! Let's help Kaballa then!"

Hours later, school finally ended for the day and Jede left immediately. He walked into a dark alley that would take him back to his apartment. But suddenly, the young man spotted three street boys picking on a helpless dog. The dog was as small and skinny as a cat and its fur was white as snow. And its eyes were as blue as the sky.

"What the hell?" cried Jede.

Jede ran to the boys and performed a quick, spinning left high kick.

"Hey!" yelled Jede. "Get away from that dog!"

And the three boys ran off leaving Jede with the wounded animal. Jede slowly picked up the dog and held it in his arms.

"Poor girl, are you going to be okay?"

Then the dog suddenly answered in a normal female voice "I think I'll be okay, Thanks."

"You can talk?" asked Jede.

The white dog jumped on the ground and answered "Of course I can talk. That is why those kids were picking at me."

"Wow!" cried Jede

The white dog started brushing her fur with her left foot and Jede then asked "So, do you have a name? Or do I just call you the White Dog?"

The small dog stopped and answered "Oh, I'm called Diana."

"Well, Diana," said Jede. "Those kids won't bother you again, so you'll be okay. I have to go."

"Alright then," said Diana. "Thanks again."

"No problem," replied Jede.

Diana walked toward the corner and cried "Oh, by the way... What is your name?"

Jede stopped at the end of the alley and shouted "Oh, its Jede!"

And Jede ran off.

"Jede huh?" Diana talked. "What a nice name. I do sense a large amount of ki coming from that boy. In fact, his ki feels exactly like fire."

Diana thought for a moment and cried "Could he be a Chosen One?"

Then Diana stared at the other side of the alley and she said, "I must investigate this boy immediately."

And Diana ran out the alley to follow Jede.
