When I was in middle school, I started reading romance novels because of my friend, Adeline. I became curious and it led me to obsession. Even now in high school, I'm still obsessed with it.
In a dimly lit area, full of broken street lamps. I'm walking on my way home while using my phone as a flashlight. It's 10 p.m., so it's quite dark.
I was nervous because I heard strange noises in my back. My walk began to change into running. While running, I suddenly remember the story I read last year about a ghost who appears when you turn your back, which will never happen to me because I will not do anything idiotic.
The noises were getting louder and nearer, thus, I ran as fast as I could to getaway from whoever it was, but it suddenly grabbed my elbow and that made me scream.
"Shut it! Give me your money or I'll put this knife on your stomach!" A man's voice.
'Thank god, not a ghost! Wait wha- money? Knife?!' I looked back slowly and saw him with two men. They're all wearing caps and masks. My voice won't come out and my legs are trembling.
"Hurry!" This man seems in a hurry, so I just give him my bag without thinking. But suddenly, someone, who's probably about six feet tall, just grabs my bag from the thief guy and punches him and takes the thief's knife.
It feels like I'm in a movie because of this man who easily takes the knife out of the thief's hand and breaks his hand cried out of pain. The others tried to help him, but the man was so strong that they ended up losing.
After a few minutes, the sound of a police car came and took the thieves away. I thanked the man, but unexpectedly he just tried to walk away.
I ran towards him and tried to thank him again, but he unexpectedly faced me and took his mask off his face, shouting angrily. "Hey next time, don't wander with just yourself. It's dangerous outside. Do you want to die?!", and left me dumbfounded.
He looks hot as hell, but why does he carry a rag on his mouth?!
After entering my house, I shut the door loudly, which made a noise and jumped into my bed irritatedly.
'Can he just say it nicely? Why is he being such a jerk? '
I rolled my body and that made me fall out of bed.
'ARGH!'
But it made me stop for a second. 'Wait a minute, I read a story like this, but isn't it so cliche? Stop thinking about it becca! Like hell I would fall in love with that jerk?! '
