In the royal palace of the Blue Hills Pack, the birthday celebration of the Alpha's first son was ongoing. Several guests and pack members were in attendance.
Alpha Dan was a 24-year-old man. He was tall and masculine with a strong athletic body. He had sharp blue eyes, unlike the rest of their pack members with yellow eyes. He was dressed in a deep navy blue suit and was present in the hall where several of their pack members were in attendance.
Alpha Dan was not interested in his birthday celebration, but his mother, Luna Zoe, had hosted it and invited everyone in the hope of finding her son's mate.
"Alpha Dan, how do you feel about turning 24? Are you certain that you and Elena Robinson are going to become mates?" Beta Leo Edward asked. He was Alpha Dan's second in command and best friend.
Both men wore similar dark navy blue suits and were holding glasses of liquor in the celebration hall.
Alpha Dan smiled, knowing that Elena was a beautiful 17-year-old girl from a noble beta family. Her father owned an AI company in their pack and was into other smaller businesses too.
"Yes, next year, I am sure that Elena will become my Luna," Alpha Dan said proudly as he lifted his cup and took a sip from the red wine in his glass.
"I am so happy for you. Finally, you will be coronated as the alpha, while I become the official Beta of this pack," Leo said, his lips curling up in a warm smile as he stood next to Alpha Dan in the banquet hall.
"That's right," Alpha Dan said, watching the guests arriving in the hall. Just then, his gaze landed on a chubby blonde woman who seemed out of place. Looking at her face, he could see that she was an Omega, but he couldn't tear his gaze off her.
Every wealthy family and even the Omegas were welcome to attend the birthday celebration of Alpha Dan Hillary. As their gazes locked, she blushed and looked downward.
Alpha Dan frowned as he felt strange looking at the chubby woman. She seemed to be 17 years old too, but she was too chubby and he didn't like chubby women.
"Can't she watch her diet?" Alpha Dan grumbled in irritation, but Leo heard him and asked, "Who are you talking about, Alpha Dan?"
"No one," Alpha Dan replied coldly and shifted his gaze away from the chubby woman, wondering which family she was from.
"Attention everyone," the spokesperson of the alpha family walked out on the stage to gather everyone's attention, as they had gathered there to witness Alpha Dan's 24th birthday.
"I am Delta Conrad Morris, the Delta chief commander of this pack. We are here in celebration of Alpha Dan's 24th birthday. Can we all take a moment to sing the lovely birthday song for him?" Conrad said. He was a 48-year-old man dressed in a black tailored suit. His son, Ruben Morris, was best friends with Dan too.
"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you," every guest in the birthday banquet hall sang the well-known birthday song for Alpha Dan until they wrapped it up and squealed, "Hip, hip, hip, hurray!"
Alpha Dan smiled brightly as he was kind and a well-respected Alpha, standing at the front stage with his family and closest friends.
Alpha Dan spotted Elena among the crowd of guests in the hall. Elena wore a pretty red dress that complimented her skin. She wore a pair of black shoes and looked pretty.
As soon as Alpha Dan's eyes met Elena's, he waved her over to come forward.
"Thank you everyone for the lovely birthday song tonight," Alpha Dan said once the guests were done singing for him.
"My wish is to become the next alpha and to lead the entire Blue Hills Pack to greater heights. Also, I look forward to meeting my mate, which I am certain my lovely girlfriend, Elena Robinson, is," Alpha Dan announced on stage, and everyone's eyes shifted to look at Elena as she felt like a princess at the moment.
"Can Elena Robinson come here on stage and join me in cutting my lovely birthday cake?" Alpha Dan said, speaking into the microphone as he stood on the stage where the lovely huge white cake was set up before the guests.
Elena blushed and moved up to the stage to join Dan, though some other young women looked at her with eyes full of jealousy while many admired her.
Meanwhile, Nelly Robinson watched as her younger sister, Elena was invited on stage by Alpha Dan.
Nelly was an Omega because her mother was an Omega who left her and remarried another man. Her father, Simon Robinson had gotten married to Elena's mother, Stella Wilson who happened to be a beta. So that made Elena a Beta wolf and stronger than Nelly.
Due to Nelly's family circumstances, as her father did not care about her and her half-sister and stepmother bullied her, Nelly resorted to eating too much food and became a plus-sized, but she was very tall and beautiful. She watched as her half-sister walked on stage to meet Alpha Dan.
As Daniel held Elena's hand on the stage to slice the birthday cake, Nelly frowned, as she felt uncomfortable.
"No!" Nelly cried aloud, like she was losing her mind, and everyone in the hall turned to look at her as they wondered how she would dare to cause a commotion at Alpha Dan's birthday party.
