Hannah was taking a late night stroll in the moonlight. Nearby was a forest that nobody dared to go into, but Hannah -unlike the other children in the neighborhood- was curious to see what was in there. She walked inside and saw a long, winding path. She decided to follow it...
As Hannah tiptoed along the crunchy path she glanced at the trees and then stared at the small gap in the tall oak tree. She saw a pair of big, yellow beady eyes staring, staring at her... Hannah convinced herself that she just had an active imagination; but deep, deep down she knew what she had seen. She continued to walk down the path and all of a sudden felt a cold, bony hand touch her shoulder. Hannah turned around but nothing was there except for the screeching crows and hooting owls.
As she continued to walk she came to the end of the path and was greeted by a big, heavy gate. Hannah pushed with all her might but could not open it. She looked around and saw a tree with a round hole in the middle of it. Inside something was glimmering, she thought it was her imagination again but decided to check anyway. She walked over to the tree and reached inside. She had found a key... But what was it for? Hannah walked back over to the gate and realised there was a lock on it. She gently pushed the small key into the lock. This time, instead of pushing the gate, the gate slowly swung open and Hannah saw a mansion, but it wasn't any old mansion it was abandoned...
The dilapidated mansion looked like there was light inside... And the light was moving... The light was rushing past the windows, down the stairs and just then it flew through the door and circled around Hannah as fast as lighting and flew away. Hannah was positive she had seen a face, her eyes flicked to her left and she forgot about the ball of light. Hannah let her curiosity take over and she walked towards what she had seen. It was a graveyard! She touched one of the graves and her fingers ran across the angels wing. She heard a whisper and a shiver ran down her spine. She sprinted out of the graveyard and back to the mansion. It was then she realised the gate was now locked... Hannah had dropped the key in her hurry to get out of the graveyard and she didn't want to go back... She had to choose, go to the graveyard again or to be trapped in the middle of the forest...
