Westgate Lake.

A beautiful scenic area where it's quiet and calm. The water is peaceful and is inviting for a nice swim. It was a popular tourist attraction and people come here all the time to relax and have a good time.

A yellow pickup truck pulled up at the rusted iron gate. On the front of it was a metal sign that was hanging on its hinges. The sign read, 'Westgate Lake'.

The occupants of the car stepped out. A boy and a girl. They were both juniors in college who had come here on spring break. The girl looked at the sign and read it.

"Can't they get someone to fix the gate and the sign? You can barely see what's on there." The girl complained.

The boy chuckled. "No one cares about the sign, Trina People still come here."

"Whatever Shawn. They could still make it look more presentable." She replied as she crossed her arms.

Shawn put his arms around Trisha's waist and pulled her close. "Come on, babe. Don't let the sign deter you. We're going to have lots of fun." He said, then added. "Besides, who would fix it? No one cares enough to fix it and the public still uses it occasionally."

"I hope I have fun and this isn't a wasted trip." She turned in his arms and ran her hands down his hard, muscled chest. He responded by pulling her closer to him and devoured her lips in a hot searing kiss.

He then pulled away from the kiss and took up their bags from the back of the pickup. He then grabbed her hands. "Come on, let's go."

They both entered through the gate and they started to walk through the forest. They walked for quiet a while, fooling around as they did so. They also enjoyed the ambience of the forest. It was cool, peaceful and a great place to be alone.

They finally came to an opening, where the river was. It was more beautiful here. The water was calm and inviting. The girl realized that she didn't make a mistake after all. She loved it here.

They took out their towels from their bags and spread it on the ground in front of the river. They both took off their clothes, revealing their swim wear underneath.

"Come on. Let's go in the water." The boy suggested.

The girl shook her head. "I'm going to lay here first." As she said this, she sat on the towel and began applying sunscreen.

"Okay, suit yourself." The boy said and ran towards the river. He jumped in, splashing water everywhere. He resurfaced and laughed. The girl shook her head at her boyfriend and smiled. "The water is great, babe. You have to check it out!" He shouted.

"Okay, I'm coming!" She shouted back. She got up from the ground and ran for the water. She splashed in, just as the boy did before. She came up back and turned towards the boy. "This is great!"

He chuckled. "I told you." He said as he waded towards her.

They swam, frolicked, had fun and made out in the water, before they decide it was time to come out and eat the sandwiches that they brought.

When they finished eating their sandwiches, the boy said. "I heard that they have a cherry tree somewhere near here." He said as he knew how much the girl loves cherries. "Wait here, I'm going to find it and bring back some."

"Okay great." The girl said as she laid down on the towel and closed her eyes.

The girl was laying there, basking in the sun for twenty minutes and her boyfriend wasn't back yet. She got up and decided to look for him.

When she was in the forest again, she called. "Shawn!" She didn't hear him. She walked some more. "Shawn!" She shouted. "Where is he?" She asked out loud.

She looked up ahead of her and she saw a figure leaned up against a maple tree. It was Shawn!

She ran the rest of the journey and came to an abrupt halt, when she saw him. A terrifying scream escaped her mouth. Tears pooled from her eyes and her hands shook.

Shawn was sitting on the ground, leaning against the tree. Blood trickled from his head. One arm was missing and his chest was bitten in. She could barely recognize his body. It was in a bad condition.

Even though she knew he couldn't be alive, shock made her walked over to him and tried to wake him up. "Shawn? Come on, wake up!" She cried. "No Shawn, you can't leave me. No! Wake up!" She continued to scream in hysterics.

Suddenly, she heard a shuffling behind her. She spun around quickly and her eyes widen in fear. She couldn't believe what was in front of her.

In front of her was an alligator with the head of a shark. She had never seen something like that before. It slowly moved towards her while watching her closely. It obviously was looking forward to its snack. It was hungry.

She backed up and screamed in fear. Her movement caused the creature to attack. She turned to run, but tripped over a stone.

The creature pulled her by her leg and dragged her to him. She continued to scream. However, her scream died as the creature used its razor sharp teeth to rip her to shreds.
