We are constantly on the move, it never ends. Town to town, city to city, country to country. We can never remain in the same place for too long. We have no pack and my family has sacrificed so much for me, after i was born they knew no one could find out the truth about me. I'm getting ahead of myself though, let me explain.
My Name is Sapphire Mill's I am a werewolf, well my whole family is. I am 23 years old and still haven't met my mate, I don't think i ever will. In human form i look as normal as everyone else, long brown hair like my mum, green eyes like my dad, around 5ft 8 in height,completely normal... well that's until i am in wolf form, Sapheira is my wolf, she has a white base coat, with a red tail, back, ears and chest. Her eyes glow orange. You see our human forms are supposed to give you a incline of what our wolves look like, usually our hair colour will tell you our wolves fur colour. My mum has brown hair and her Wolf Nia has brown fur with a golden yellow patch on her chest. My dad has Blonde hair, his wolf Fang has Golden yellow fur with a brown tip on his tail. My brother Zack who is 20 and already found his mate has Medium blond sorta brown hair, his wolf Ink has Light brown fur with a Browny sort of red patch on his left paw.
Our wolves have a Patch of fur or some sort of mark that is the same colour as our mates fur colour. When we turn 18 we can find our mates, they are our life long partners, we are bound to each other from birth. Our wolves are created from the same soul by the Moon Goddess but we never know who our mates are until we turn 18. We find them by a unique scent they let off, we can hide this scent but our mates will still feel a pull to us even if we hide it, that's if we choose to, No one else can smell the scent that our mates can. Other than our mate scent werewolves have a distinctive smell that is different from humans, its hard to explain but its like a natural perfume you can say, when you are apart of a pack your scent will change, that's how you will know when you are in a packs territory. My brother says he knew Cora was his mate when he could smell Strawberries mixed with Cinnamon, its his 2 favourite smells. I envy them, I don't think i will ever find my mate, we are never in one place long enough and there is no wolf like mine, I don't carry any colours of my mate at all, i wonder if they carry a colour of me perhaps?

"Alright troops we are almost there, remember keep your scents hidden, especially you Sapphire." My dads states as we pull up to a large house, bigger than the others we have lived at. It's the same story, Move house, scents hidden blah blah blah but this place is different, very different.
"Dad, are we in a packs territory? We can't be here what if someone finds out?" I start to state in a panic.
"Yes, we are. I know the Alphas father, they have offered us refuge here, this is one of their houses, if things go well we will join this pack. It's time we settle down. Zack and Cora need somewhere to find a place of their own but they can't do that if we keep moving around all the time and they want to get married so they can start a family." My dad states back, i see his point. Normally when wolves find their mates the female will join the Males pack, Cora didn't care that we don't have a pack and still wanted to come a long with us, her father wasn't pleased with that, But he knows how the mate bond is so agreed as long as we found a place to settle within 2 years. None of them know about Sapheira, so they assume we just haven't found the right pack to be with.
As we got out the car a light scent of pine wood and Peppermint filled my nose, i love that smell it always reminds me of Christmas. "Do any of you smell that?"
"Smell what dear?" My mum asks while unloading bags from the car.
"The pine wood and Peppermint? It's light but its the most amazing smell i have ever caught scent of." I can't help but to keep smelling the air.
"Okay Sapphire stop messing around and help." Zack states incredibly frustrated and tired.
We start to get everything out the car just as the movers arrive with the rest of our belonging, they help us unload everything into the rooms and basement. The room I chose the scent is the strongest in. I find it to be soothing so i made sure this room was mine. The scent is all over the house but it is faint, very faint. I just put it down to maybe a air freshener or something. I am trying to keep Sapheira under control because the movers are human and the last thing we need is me wolfing out, Scaring Cora and Giving the movers a heart attack. Would be pretty funny though.
After we got everything in the house and got as much suff unpacked as possible my family went for a run. Something me and Sapheira can't take part in, my family are so used to leaving us behind they don't think about even asking how we feel about it. I let Sapheira out at night when we sleep so she isn't cooped up all the time, i know she feels bad about my life being restricted all the time, no friends, always moving but she is always there with me, I love her for that. She doesn't understand how special she is and it must be difficult for her being cooped up and not being able to go outside and run with everyone else but for our safety it's what's best.
Sapheira: 'Well can we at least go exploring tomorrow and be outside for a bit? After all dad says he knows the Alpha's dad, it should be safe right?'
'Maybe Saph, we have to be careful, for some reason I feel attached to this place and i would like to stay here" i state back to her, did i mention we can communicate with our wolves? We can hear each other in our heads when we are in each form, unless we block each other out. 'For now lets sleep, i locked the doors and windows so don't bother trying to claw your way out. It's been a long day, we are safe for now so get some sleep please.'

"Everyone up! come on now, its time for training!!" My dad shouts, this i am happy to wake up for. Just as we are about to walk out the room i realise Sapheira hasn't changed back yet which is unusual, by morning i am usually back in control.

Sapheira: 'No, i want to know where the scent is coming from its faint but i need to know'
Sapphire: 'it's probably just a old air freshener or something, its far too faint to be anything else, plus you can't leave the room and risk being seen. I don't want to die this early, for god sake i am still a Virgin.'
Saphiera: 'fine only if you promise to go explore, i might pick the scent up, you need to let me try. Please Sapphire.'
Sapphire: 'fine i will speak to dad after training.'
