"Ah!"

In an antique room, with a pained scream, Steve suddenly sat up from the bed. At that moment, a sharp, tearing pain swept through his brain, and a flood of information bombarded his Divine Soul. Steve, who had just opened his eyes, almost fainted again.

The pain came and went as quickly as it arrived.

When the agony finally receded like a tide, Steve's eyes were blank, filled with memories that didn’t belong to him.

He found it hard to believe: he had time-traveled!

"Mike, Tina, you two traitorous scum, I won’t let you off!" Steve's eyes burned with cold fury and killing intent, a deep-seated hatred that seemed to emanate from the depths of his soul.

Originally, Steve had been the last disciple of the sect master of the Nine Sun Immortal Sect in the Immortal Realm. He was hailed as the top genius in cultivation, alchemy, puppetry, formations, and weapon refining. The Nine Sun Immortal Sect had proclaimed him the greatest prodigy of the past ten thousand years, with the potential to one day reach the Immortal Emperor Realm.

However, as the saying goes, "The tallest tree catches the wind." Steve's extraordinary talent brought him immense cultivation resources and supreme status, but it also attracted envy and hatred from others.

Three days ago, Steve, Mike, and Tina ventured into an Immortal King's tomb in search of treasures. In the deepest part of the tomb, the trio discovered a black ancient cauldron.

To ensure their safety inside the tomb, Steve, Mike, and Tina each took anti-poison pills that Mike had prepared in advance. However, to Steve's shock, Mike had secretly given him a Poison-proof Pill laced with the Immortal-eating Gu Poison.

The Immortal-eating Gu Poison was an extremely rare and deadly toxin, even in the Immortal Realm. Refined from thousands of poisonous substances, it was specifically designed to target experts above the Immortal Realm, silently corroding their Immortal foundation without detection.

Despite Mike and Tina being disciples of the Nine Sun Immortal Sect, acquiring such a poison would have been incredibly costly. Steve never imagined they would go to such lengths to betray him.

By the time Steve realized what was happening, it was too late. The majority of his Immortal foundation had already been destroyed by the Gu Poison. As Steve lay weakened, Mike and Tina launched a surprise attack, killing him.

In the midst of their treachery, the ancient cauldron, now stained with blood, unexpectedly activated. A powerful suction force erupted from it, pulling Steve inside.

Steve thought his life had ended, but instead, he found himself reborn in another world.

This was an ancient world called the Profound Spirit Continent, distinct from the Immortal Realm. Unlike in the Immortal Realm, cultivators here practiced martial arts.

The cultivators on the Profound Spirit Continent.were known as martial artists. By absorbing the Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi to strengthen themselves and mastering martial techniques and cultivation methods, they could achieve feats such as flying through the sky and burrowing through the earth. With a single thought, they could cause mountains to crumble and rivers to collapse, plunging the world into chaos.

In the Immortal Realm, cultivation required a Spiritual Root, but here, it required a Martial Soul.

Just as Spiritual Roots in the Immortal Realm were classified into nine levels—ranging from mortal at the first level to immortal at the ninth—Martial Souls on the Profound Spirit Continent.were similarly ranked. The first level was mortal, and the ninth level was sky.

The body Steve now inhabited belonged to someone also named Steve, the third son of the Smith Family in Dark Sky City, located in the Dark Domain of the Eastern Xuan Continent.

In Dark Sky City, four powerful families, known as the Four Major Families, ruled: the Smith Family, the Brown Family, the Davis Family, and the William Family. Among them, the Smith Family was the most powerful, followed by the Brown Family, with the Davis and William Families being nearly equal in strength.

Despite his prestigious background, this 'Third Young Master Steve' was infamous as a good-for-nothing who couldn’t cultivate or awaken his Martial Soul. Instead, he squandered his days eating, drinking, and playing, earning the derisive title of the useless young master of Dark Sky City.

Three days ago, the 'Third Young Master Steve' went shopping with his personal maid, Mia. During their outing, they encountered Brian Brown, the Second Young Master of the Brown Clan, another of the four great families in Dark Sky City.

Brian, driven by lust, attempted to forcefully take Mia and insulted 'Third Young Master Steve' for being a good-for-nothing who couldn’t cultivate. This led to a confrontation between the two on the streets.

Although Brian’s martial arts talent was mediocre and his awakened Martial Soul, the Gale Wolf, was only a second-level Martial Soul, he was still far stronger than the Third Young Master Steve, who had never managed to awaken his Martial Soul.

The fight ended with the Third Young Master Steve being severely injured by Brian. After being rescued, he remained in a coma until he passed away not long after.

It was this death that gave Steve the chance to be reborn.

"Don’t worry, brother. Since I’ve taken over your body, I will avenge you," Steve murmured, as if comforting both himself and the departed 'Third Young Master Steve.'

As soon as Steve spoke, he felt the lingering resentment within his body dissipate, and his soul merged more completely with the physical body.

Steve realized that the remnants of the 'Third Young Master Steve’s' soul had finally departed.

After grasping the situation, Steve's eyes grew sharp. If he wanted to take revenge, he first needed to assess his physical condition.

In his previous life, Steve had possessed the Highest Grade Immortal Spiritual Root and had reached the Immortal Realm, with an extraordinarily powerful Divine Sense. Although his current Divine Sense was less than one-tenth of its former strength, it was still formidable.

However, when Steve’s Divine Sense penetrated into his Dantian, he was completely stunned. There, hanging in his Dantian, was an ancient black cauldron.

The ancient cauldron was only three inches in size, with three legs and two handles. It was engraved with intricate patterns that, upon closer inspection, revealed themselves to be depictions of insects, fish, birds, and beasts, as well as mountains, rivers, and vast landscapes, all imbued with a strong Dao aura. There were also five ancient characters inscribed on the cauldron’s body.

The Five Spirits Supreme Being Cauldron!

"This is the black ancient cauldron!" Steve was shocked as he stared at the cauldron in his Dantian.

"Could it be that this ancient cauldron has also traveled here with me?" he muttered, his eyes still unfocused as he tried to process this revelation. Just then, the creaking sound of a door opening interrupted his thoughts.

Looking up, Steve saw a girl in an emerald green dress entering the room with a wooden plate in her hands. On the plate was a jade bowl, steaming with hot food.

The girl was slim, with a perfectly proportioned figure—ample where it mattered, delicate where it should be. Unfortunately, a deep, ferocious scar marred her face, marring her beauty.

Through the memories in his mind, Steve recognized the girl as his personal maid, Mia. She was responsible for taking care of the Third Young Master Steve’s daily needs, and possibly more if required.

As for the scar on Mia’s face, she had inflicted it on herself three days ago to avoid being violated by the second son of the Brown family.

Pa!

With a sharp sound of something breaking, the wooden plate in Mia’s hand fell to the ground, and the jade bowl on it shattered, spilling brown soup everywhere.

"Young... Young Master, you’re awake?" Mia’s initial look of disbelief quickly turned to tears as her eyes filled with moisture and she began to cry, her tears falling like pearls from a broken string.

"What's wrong? Isn't it a good thing that I’m awake?" Steve asked with a smile, noticing Mia’s distressed state and swollen eyes, which indicated she had been crying a lot over the past three days.

"No, no. How are you feeling now, Young Master? The doctor mentioned something this morning."

"What did the doctor say?"

"He said that Young Master’s internal organs were severely injured and that you wouldn’t survive. He even suggested preparing for the funeral," Mia’s voice grew softer and softer as she spoke, and she began to sob quietly.

Steve sneered inwardly at Mia’s words. While the original "Third Young Master Steve" had indeed been critically injured, Steve, having time-traveled from the Immortal Realm, was very much alive. This secret was one Steve kept to himself; it was the most significant secret he held in this new world.

"That doctor doesn’t know anything. Do I look like someone who dies so easily?" Steve deliberately spoke in the same tone as the former Third Young Master Steve, trying to reassure Mia.

"How do you feel now, Young Master?"

"I feel great! Your cooking smells wonderful. I could even go to the Happy Ending Restaurant and fight for three hundred rounds!" Steve teased.

"Young Master!" Mia’s face flushed instantly at Steve’s innuendo about the Happy Ending Restaurant. She blushed deeply and replied shyly, "I’ll tell Old Master the good news. He will be very pleased!"

Before Steve could say more, Mia hurriedly left the room, her exit accompanied by Steve’s amused laughter.
