Accidental Luna
Chapter 1
Becca was running in the with her dog Bruno.........
It's actually her favorite pet, friend, companion and brother since she was the only child of her parents. She didn't actually meet her dad but her mom told her that he died years back when she was still an infant.
She didn't have any memories with her dad and was always sad when others talked about their own dad and their outings. Her mom played the role of both in her life.
She continued running till the dog was out of sight. She ran into the woods to find Bruno. She went deeper and deeper into the woods but Bruno was no where to be found.
"I don't know why Bruno won't be considerate in making decisions" she complained and stopped running.
"Bruno" she started shouting as she walked continually into the woods.
After searching for hours, she was exhausted and tired.
"Maybe he's home already, I can't go further" she said to herself and turned to go home.
"Bruno play time is over if you don't come out now, I'll go home without you" she said and started going home.
After walking for hours and not finding the route that leads to her home, she realized that she has lost her way.
"Oh no" she cried out as her legs were hurting like hell.
"I'm thirsty and can't find my way home" she cried. She saw a beautiful tree and decided to rest there for a while before she can continue to find her way out.
"I need to rest and get enough strength because my legs are not going further" she soliloquies as she sat under the tree.
Immediately she heard a loud howl and jump on her feet quickly.
"Could Bruno be in trouble? She asked herself. And walked to the direction where the sound was coming from. She picked up a stick and walked towards the spot and she reached and saw two wolves. She shouted and the wolves noticed her. The dark one with blue eyes walked her direction and she took to her heals immediately. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her and shouted as she ran. She turned to check if the wolf had stopped following her and stopped running when she didn't see him any where. She tried to catch her breath but was scared by the howl right behind her.
She turned to see the monster right behind her. She tried to run but her legs failed her and she felled down.
The cute wolf kept walking closer to her and she closed her eyes ready to be devoured by the wolf but instead being pounced on, she felt a sharp pain and it looks like a bite on her neck.
She screamed and woke up.
"It was a dream" she said feeling a little relaxed but the sharp pain on her neck made her check the mirror close to her bed and she screamed.
The same scar was right on her neck
"What happened to you" her mom asked rushing into the room.
"Nothing mom" she said and tried to cover her neck.
"I heard you screaming dear" her mom said
"It's just a nightmare mom" she said leaving the bed.
"Then share it with me" she said but Becca didn't reply. She walked into the bathroom to take her bath and get ready for school.
She's in her last class in highschool and their final exam is coming up soon.
A few minutes later, she was done with her shower, she got dressed and went downstairs for breakfast.
"Good morning grandma" she greeted and sat down on her seat which too her grandma by surprise.
"When did you stop giving me a morning peck dear? She asked and Becca gasped.
She has never forgotten to give grandma a morning peck before, maybe it's because of the dream.
"So sorry grandma, you know I have my final exams coming up and my mind is preoccupied with lots of things" she said and went to give her grandma a peck.........
She took her bread and ate it very fast and then stood up and ran out.
"Mom I'm off already" she shouted.....
"Bye grandma" she said still running out...
"Bye Becca" her grandma shouted after her....
She then turned to Aloysia Becca's mom...
"Did you notice anything different from Becca?? Her grandma asked
"No except for the fact that she had a night mare last night and screamed" Aloysia said with a shrug....
"What???? Her grandma asked stamping on the dining table......
"Any problem mom??? Aloysia asked getting terrified.
"Did you notice a mark on her neck??? She asked and Aloysia quickly recalled..
"No she was hiding something from her neck and I didn't bother since there was no physical change and........." Aloysia couldn't complete her statement because her mom ran out and she followed quickly.
Reaching out her mom gasped..
"Mom what is it???? You are scaring me already" Aloysia said alarmed......
"Aloysia the physical change will be a mark on her neck and she is likely to get it in a dream.." her mom said and Aloysia couldn't hold it any longer....
"Now I know the rasper pack will be hunting her because the marking will activate her powers. We need to get to the school and deactivate it, get me the raspberry" grandma said rushing to stop a cab.................
