Summer is over and the monsoon is on. I completed my graduation last year and I am ahead to become a fashion designer.

It was raining heavily that day and a lot of people were running to take refuge and the streets were gradually getting cleared. I wore a black crop top with a denim jacket and dark blue trousers, black shoes, pure black hair tied into a high ponytail, and my name 'Lucy' tattooed on my hand. I was walking on the street with an umbrella, browsing over the internet when I noticed a limited edition book 'The nightmare of Dracula' viral and saw the same book in the bookstore on a corner of the street so I went in and bought it as I am crazy about haunted and mysterious storybooks.

I left the store and after taking a few steps I bumped into a person not sure the person was a woman or man but the person's attire was old, a little torn and dusty. A black pant and shirt, a black hood covering the person's face, blonde hair sticking out of the hood, yellow rubber boots, and a bag with some books seemed like the person was running to hide from the rain, my book and the person's books fell on the wet footpath I picked the books and returned them to the person and took mine with me after reaching home I checked on the book and found out it was exchanged with the person's book titled 'The???'. I searched over the internet about the book but had no results so I read the description written on the back cover and then opened it and started reading. After reading two lines 'Victoria an actress forced by her parents to meet the guy who was engaged to her in her childhood.' I felt dizzy and fell unconscious on the floor.

An hour later

And here I woke up, still a bit dizzy,

'Why am I wearing makeup and such a elegant dress?'

'Miss Victoria, are you fine?' a man asked me.

'Are you talking to me?' I asked the man, still trying to see clearly.

'Yes Miss Victoria, do you want to continue shooting or go back home? We can continue tomorrow.' the man replied to me. At this moment I realized that there was something wrong.

'We can continue tomorrow.' I replied to the man.

A woman

probably 20

and a man helped me up and led me to the car.

I asked her 'What was going on? Who she is? And what her name is?'

She replied 'Are you ok? Have you lost your memory? I am your personal secretary Lily and we were here for your magazine cover shoot.'

'I am ok, just a little dizzy that's why I can't remember a lot of things' I replied to her.

I realized that I was trapped in the storybook.

After reaching Victoria's huge mansion, where she lived with her parents.

I tried to leave the story but as I didn't know how to get off so I unwillingly decided to continue the story and see what in the real life was.

Victoria was a real beauty, pure black long silky hair coming right up till the end of her back, pale skin tone, big deep grey eyes, straight nose bridge, heart-shaped soft pink lips, 159 cm height, slim and hourglass body.

The next morning, Lily came to me and told me that today's full schedule was canceled by my parents as they were sending me on a cruise ship to meet my fiancé. So I got ready, there were 2 maids to help me, and several servants in the whole mansion it seemed just like a princess life, the designer picked me a sky blue plain and elegant gown but I said no as that's not my style and asked for a peach jumpsuit and white shoes.

At the evening I and lily left for the journey which was with Victoria's so-called fiancé.

At the entrance of the cruise ship, I saw a man wearing a black suit, leather shoes, blonde hair, green eyes, fair but not pale skin, small lips, and so cute, stop what am I thinking I am here to reject him. I thought he could be Victoria's fiancé as mom told me his description so I got there and asked him 'Excuse me, are you, Dominic?

'Yes, I am Dominic', but it's Dom and you must be Victoria right?' he asked me.

'It is vee' I replied to him.

'Vee, I want to talk to you' Dom said

'So do I' I replied

'Ok, then let's head to our rooms' Dom replied

'Then I'll get the cards' Lily said

___In the room___

'Look, I am in a relationship and I don't want to marry you.' Dom said

'I am also not interested, I am still on my career' I replied

'That's great! Reject me then' Dom replied

'Why should I?' I asked him

'What do you mean?' Dom asked

'Because of my career, my parents are already angry with me and I can't, why don't you reject me?' I asked

'Because of my mother's last wish,' Dom said

'And what's that?' I asked

'That I should marry you only' Dom said

'It's all above you, I can't help' I said

'Ok' Dom said sadly.

I dodged Dom's plan of poisoning me over the dinner and push me off of the ship while taking a walk as I knew the storyline written behind the book as I read it first. But because of that, the story will change.

The journey was from London to Paris and on road from Paris to Amsterdam.

Next morning, mom called me and asked my opinion over Dom and I said 'I didn't like him but he is not bad too'. Dom replied same to his parents, so our parents called the ship captain and asked to throw a party for our future. As my dad was a very famous and respected businessman and my mom an interior designer and has her own company and Dom's dad is a producer and his mom was an actress but she died 7 years ago. Dom himself is a very well-known doctor in the city's no.1 hospital.

I was not quiet not sure to publish this story but now it seems I want to, hope so you'll like this story, I had started writing it 6 months ago and now I think I have the whole story in my mind, if you like, like, comment, and share.
