Annie's P.V.O

It was in the evening around 17 when I received a text on WhatsApp from from an unknown line by then I was in my room with nothing to do just on bed trying to figure out what the next hour will bring.

I was at a new place,learning how things work and first time at the university at that time I already made a friend and we were kind of close.

“Hey,“

The notification popped on top of my phone.

"Hai," i replied.

Trying to figure out who just sent me a text cause the line wasn't in my contacts.

'How are you,"the unknown person replied.

"Am okay,"whose this I asked.

"Mackenzie,"he replied back.

Hey shit what is a girl doing in my dm and a person I don't know for that matter who the hell is she, wait have I done anything wrong, I thought to myself. Though I was confident I have done nothing to make someone upset I was kind of nervous.

"You are a girl,"I asked.

"No am not a girl am the other way round which means am the opposite of a girl ,"he said.

"A man but a name Mackenzie is for girls though,how come him he has a girls name," i thought.

I got back to my phone and replied back to this unknown Mackenzie.

"Okay, but where did you get my line from cause as far as am concerned am not the one who gave you my line,"I replied.

As I was waiting for his reply I received a call from my ex boyfriend telling me that he misses me,he would like to come and pay a visit since now am close to his home town.

Flashes of what made us break up appeared in my head and I just cut the call not letting him finish whatever he wanted to say.

"I got your line from a certain group on WhatsApp which we are both in," he said.

"Holy molly, a WhatsApp group but there are a lot of girls from that same group he got my line from cause if my memory is good enough all the groups am in on WhatsApp am not the only girl in there so why me," I questioned myself trying to find my own answers without asked the weird Mackenzie.

It was night soon and we said good night to each other and I slept.

From there we started talking a lot though I never met him in person but we would talk, he would call me just to tell me that he is going in town, I always got irritated but I can't just stop talking to a person without a reason and though at times I got irritated I would still talk to him till I got used to him without even knowing or meeting the person in person but he was an online friend a person I got used to there wasn't a day he wouldn't text me.

As days passed it came a certain day when he decided to meet me I don't know what was running in his head at that time maybe he sometimes thought I was a ghost because we never met.

And so he gave me a direct call.

"Hello," are you by your room I want to come and and see you.he asked.

"Hey,yes am by my room,what time would you like to come see me."I asked.

"In the evening I guess,"he said.

"Alright,you will find me am not going anywhere," I said.

"Okay then see you in the evening,"he replied.

"Okay",I also replied.

And he cut the call.
