Introduction
A certain woman inadvertently found out that a certain man was ill in a certain aspect, so she pursued him boldly, with no scruples, chasing him wildly around, vowing to perform a tragic history of a cool and reticent man being relentlessly pursued by a pesky little demon step by step. The man, hearing this, caught her and asked, "How do you plan to pursue me?" "Against the wall, in the car, on the bed, various ways," she said, elated and secretly thrilled. "Then let's start with the wall," the man said, closing in on her. After being completely devoured, the woman, hands propping up her waist, could barely straighten up, her face full of anger, "Who the hell spread the rumor that Huo Shiting doesn't function?!"

"Hehe, I'm sorry."

Han Junming squatted halfway down in front of Su He, his face showing embarrassment.

Su He coldly curled her lips into a smirk, lazily leaning on the back of the sofa and gazing at the sea of roses Han Junming patched together in the room for her.

"If apologizing worked for murderers, we wouldn't need laws!"

"Han Junming, don't call me by such coy terms. We're not that familiar. And there's no need for you to feel so guilty. Actually, I should thank you - thank you for not marrying me. Otherwise, I would have cried myself to death."

Han Junming was taken aback, his eyebrows furrowed tightly. He thought if Su He agreed to the meeting, it meant she had forgiven him. He didn't expect these words from her.

Su He wanted to mock him some more, but her phone suddenly rang twice.

She smirked triumphantly, suddenly lifting her slender arms and circling them around Han Junming's neck. Her face seemed flustered, but her eyes were full of disgust.

"Do you know how I feel when I see you now? It's like when you're about to finish a delicious cake and suddenly find a fly on top... Yuck!"

"Su..."

"Brother Junming! What are you doing?"

Before Han Junming could finish speaking, he was interrupted. He turned around and saw an angry Su Lan, her temple throbbing. "Lanlan..."

"You... You've gone too far!" Su Lan growled quietly, her eyes full of disappointment.

When she saw Su He behind Han Junming, her voice almost turned into a roar.

"Su He! You b*tch!"

Upon her words, she lifted her smartphone and fiercely threw it at Su He.

The phone traced a perfect arc in the air, and then hit Han Junming square on the head.

Bearing the pain, Han Junming strode over to Su Lan.

"It's not what you're thinking..."

"You... get out of here!" Su Lan, gritting her teeth in rage, continued to point her finger at Su He, "Su He, you're really shameless, even seducing your own brother-in-law!"

Su He laughed softly, her tone light and provocative, "Hmm, don't forget, if it weren't for an unexpected interruption, he would've been your brother-in-law. Besides, if I really wanted to seduce, I would go after the most prestigious man in Xuan Cheng, Huo Shiting, not some man who relies on a woman for stability."

Han Junming, looking at Su He, frowned slightly, with a flicker of pain in his eyes that he couldn't hide.

Meanwhile, Su Lan was already trembling with rage.

"You vile woman! A woman dumped by her man and you still have the cheek to talk about seducing Mr. Huo? He wouldn't even bat an eye at you!"

But this only made Su He laugh more brilliantly.

"Whether Mr. Huo would look at me is not something I can predict, but isn't your man right here, ogling me? Miss Su, let's get this straight. I, Su He, was not the one who was dumped. I dumped him!"

"Lan Lan…” Seeing the situation getting worse, Han Junming called out.

"Don't call me!" Su Lan roared.

Looking at the enraged Su Lan and the disheartened Han Junming, Su He truly felt a bitter satisfaction.

They had made her miserable, she wouldn't let them have their happiness either!

Today, she came to meet them and secretly sent a message to Su Lan. Her goal here was to interfere in their relationship. Now that her mission is accomplished, she should leave and let them hurt each other. She needs to go back and rest.

Su He stood up from the sofa, walked over to Su Lan, and whispered in her ear.

"Ever since we were young, you've always coveted things I've possessed. Never thought it would be the same with men. Considering our sisterly bond, I'll give you this man! Enjoy him tonight."

With that, she left the room contentedly.

"Su He... you... you..."

Su Lan's face turned red with anger, as she dashed to the door ready to slap her.

Quick to react, Su He caught Su Lan's raised wrist with her left hand and, with a swift motion of her right hand, gave her a loud slap.

Hanjun Ming rushed to her side, protecting her in his arms. He frowned and coldly criticized Su He.

"He He, how could you hit someone? You were not like this before!"

Su He smirked, her gaze challenging him, "And are you still the person you used to be?"

Hanjun Ming averted his gaze, his scowl deepening. He stayed silent for a moment before he forcefully held the intensely sobbing Su Lan and left the place.

Seeing their retreating figure, the pretend smile on Su He's face slowly faded. She should have been satisfied, yet she still felt a blockage in her heart.

After all, it is not so easy to forget about something that has been on your mind for four years.

"Click!" The crisp sound of a lighter being ignited suddenly echoed in the quiet hallway. It was eerily out of place.

"Who's there?"

Su He's nerves, which had just relaxed, grew tense once more. She asked warily.

Turning her head, she saw a man leaning against the railing behind her.

They weren't far apart, so Su He could see his features clearly.

He was dressed in western-style pants and a shirt, was slim and tall, with a cigarette squeezed between the index and middle fingers of his right hand. The cigarette had just been lit, and little flashes of light danced at the end.

He took a long draw on the cigarette and exhaled. Within the billows of white smoke, his facial features appeared remarkably deep-set.

His appearance… was not the type that would make a woman shriek, but there was a certain nobility to him, different from others, seemingly wild and free, but imbued with hidden intelligence and steadiness.

Such mature, masculine men, are fatally attractive to women.

In normal circumstances, Su He might look forward to gossiping about this, but today she was not in the mood.

She glanced at the open door of Room 1288, and realized, he must be the guest from next door.

Under normal circumstances, she should apologize for bothering him in the middle of the night, but his disdainful gaze immediately squashed any thought of sorry from Su He.

Pulling her gaze back, she was just about to leave, when she realized that her purse was still inside, so she had to turn back.

When she emerged with her bag, the man was still there, his gaze as contemptuous as before, which was unpleasant to behold.

Su He frowned and asked in an unfriendly tone, “What are you looking at? Never seen a woman get dumped before?”

His gaze did not move away, but instead seemed to intensify on her, making her heart quiver inadvertently.

The hallway lights were dim, casting a shadow across his face. This rendered his already steady, dark pupils even deeper, that mysterious depth... was something unfathomably profound and indiscernible.

Su He just stood there, dumbly, as if waiting for him to speak.

"You've been abandoned by your sponsor!"

He suddenly spoke up, his tone steady and assertive. He made a declaratory statement, not a question.

Swallowing hard, Su He frowned slightly.

After a brief pause, she walked straight up to the man.

Her principle in life had always been "Do not offend others unless they offend me first. If someone offends me, be courteous and patient up to a point. If they offend me again, eliminate the problem at its roots!"

The man was very tall, towering over her by a head's length.

She looked up at him, a slight smirk on her face, "I have countless sponsors. One more or one less makes no difference to me."

Switching her tone abruptly, she asked, "Is Uncle sleeping alone this late?"

While speaking, she didn't forget to take a quick peek into room 1288.

Seeing that it was indeed empty, she sarcastically continued, "Uncle, it’s quite unusual for a man of your age not to have a woman..."

Her brilliant apricot eyes danced as she spoke.

"Uncle, could it be that you're not into women?"
