Alessia's fragile frame shook uncontrollably as she sobbed, her wrists and ankles bound by rough ropes. She lay on the cold, damp floor, her eyes fixed on her family. She was just twelve and it was a fun picnic, all of a sudden they were kidnapped. They had been here for over a week and severely tortured
"Please...when will it be over?" Alessia begged, her voice cracking.
Her father, Marco, groaned in pain, his arm bleeding from a gunshot wound. "I'm sorry, Alessia...I'm so sorry..." he whispered, his eyes filled with tears.
Alessia's mother, Sophia, lay motionless beside him, her body swollen with bruises. Alessia's younger brother, Leonardo, was unconscious, his small body limp.
"Why are they doing this to us?" Alessia thought, her mind racing. "What did we do wrong?"
One of the captors, a tall, menacing figure, sneered at Alessia. "You're just pawns in a game, little girl. Your family's debt needs to be paid."
Alessia's eyes widened in horror. "What debt? We don't owe anyone anything!"
The captor laughed. "Your father's mistakes will cost you dearly. You'll pay for his sins."
Alessia's thoughts swirled in despair. "This can't be happening. We're just a normal family...what did Papa do?"
As the captor turned to leave, Alessia called out, "Please...don't hurt us anymore..."
The captor's response was a cold, mirthless laugh.
Alessia's soliloquy continued: "Why is this happening to us? What did we do to deserve this? I just want it to be over...I want to go home..."
As the darkness closed in around her, Alessia's thoughts faded into a desperate, silent plea: "Someone...please...help us..."
Marco Bianchi begged the captors, his voice shaking with desperation. "I swear, I was never involved...I left the family a long time, I cut ties with them...i was never involved in the business...please, believe me!"
The captors laughed, their cruel faces twisted in amusement. "Your sin is being a Bianchi," one of them sneered. "Your bloodline is cursed."
Sophia Bianchi, Alessia's mother, sobbed uncontrollably, her body shaking with anguish. "Please...have mercy...pity the children...they're innocent..." she begged, her eyes pleading.
The captors laughed again, their eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure. One of them slapped Sophia across the face, sending her crashing to the ground.
Alessia's little heart shook with terror as she watched her mother fall. She felt tears drop from her eyes as she screamed, "Mommy!"
The captor raised his gun, pointing it at Sophia. "You should have thought of that before you married into the Bianchi family," he sneered.
Marco screamed, "No! Please!" but it was too late. The captor fired three shots, each one hitting Sophia with precision.
Alessia's world went dark as she watched her mother's lifeless body slump to the ground. She felt Leonardo's small body tremble with fear as he clung to her.
The captors laughed, their cruel laughter echoing through the room. One of them slapped Alessia, sending her crashing to the ground beside her brother.
Leonardo's small voice whispered, "Alessia...Alessia..." as he clung to her.
Alessia wrapped her arms around her brother, holding him close as she screamed and screamed, her voice echoing through the darkness.
Marco's anguished voice echoed through the room, "My family...my poor family...what have I done?"
The captors laughed again, their eyes gleaming with sadistic pleasure. "You should have thought of that before you had children," one of them sneered.
Alessia's eyes remained fixed on her mother's lifeless body, her mind numb with shock and grief. Hours ticked by, but she didn't notice. Her stomach growled, protesting the emptiness, but she ignored it.
Leonardo's whimpers broke the silence. "I'm hungry, Alessia..." he whispered, his small body trembling.
Alessia's gaze shifted to her brother, and she forced a weak smile. "Shh, Leonardo...it's okay..." she whispered, trying to comfort him.
"What's going to happen to us, Alessia?" Leonardo asked, his eyes wide with fear.
Alessia hesitated, unsure of how to respond. "We'll...we'll be okay, Leonardo," she stammered, trying to sound convincing.
The captor's laughter echoed through the room, making Alessia's skin crawl. "Looks like someone's hungry," he sneered, walking over to a nearby table.
He returned with a rotten, moldy dish, the smell making Alessia's stomach churn. "Eat up, kid," he said, shoving the dish at Leonardo.
Leonardo's face contorted in disgust. "No...I don't want it..." he whimpered, pushing the dish away.
The captor's expression darkened. "You'll eat what you're given," he growled, raising his hand.
Alessia's heart racing, she begged, "Please...don't hurt him...he's just a child..."
The captor's smile sent shivers down Alessia's spine. "You're a clever girl...I'll spare him...for now," he said, his eyes glinting with malice.
Alessia's thoughts swirled in desperation. "What do they want from us? Why are they doing this?"
As she watched, the captor's gaze shifted to Leonardo, and his expression turned cold. "But you...you're not so lucky," he spat, his hand moving swiftly.
Alessia's scream was drowned out by the sound of gunfire. She felt her world shatter, her heart torn apart.
"No...no...no..." Alessia whispered, her voice barely audible.
The captors' laughter echoed through the room, a haunting, evil sound that Alessia knew would haunt her forever.
"Why...why is this happening to us?" Alessia thought, her mind reeling with grief and anger.
As she gazed at Leonardo's lifeless body, Alessia's thoughts turned to her mother's words: "Never give up, Alessia...always keep fighting..."
Alessia's eyes narrowed, a spark of determination igniting within her. "I won't give up," she whispered, her voice firm. "I'll make them pay..."
