"Nice work, Azusa! Let's call it a day!" I heard my manager said. I looked up to her and gave her an warm smile.

"Let me just finish these spots so you don't have to clean these tomorrow." I said as I started cleaning the tables. I am working as a waitress nearby the LNY Company. The most famous and successful company throughout the world. I would often daydream, living as a CEO in the company.

Though, it's impossible. I would love to dress up and continue going to a university. "Azusa?" My manager once again called my name that's why I laughed.

"I will pack up now," I said in a singsong voice. Today's payday and I can't wait to surprise my boyfriend. I am currently in a relationship and we're together for almost 7 years. We're also planning to marry each other but he said it's still early for that.

I want to continue loving him, my man. Sharing the same house, food, and love with each other? I can't wait for that moment to happen. Having a child with him, having a passionate time, ugh. That's what I am looking forward right now.

"You seem to be happy, Azusa?" my manager asked me after I dress up to my casual clothes.

"Well," I shyly said. "I have save up enough for me to enter a university. I am also planning to be a scholar at Northern Inova University." I said.

"Wow that's a great new, goodluck for that, Azusa." she gave me a smile and patted my head. "Here's your wage." she gave me an envelope and I gladly accepted it.

I opened it and counted the money, "Manager? Are you sure this is mine? It's too much—"

"It's okay, it's all for you." She cutted me off.

"Awww. Thank you so much, manager. I'm off now." I went out and it's already dark and cold. The street lights are also flickering. Our place is a bit famous since the employees of the LNY Company are taking a break on our shop.

I reached for my phone and texted my boyfriend, Adam. I saw that there are no messages from him and I was worried.

I called him and after a few rings, he answered. "Hi babe!" i greeted.

"Hey," he said in a cold stern voice.

"You okay? Where are you?" I asked him.

"Today's your payday right?" he asked, totally ignoring my question.

"Uhh, Adam." I hesitantly called him, "I need this money for me to study, can I give you my money on the next payday?" I don't really get it, Adam's son of a rich man if I'm not mistaken. He used to pick me up using his very own car.

"I need a goddamn money right now." I stopped walking and stared at the cold night streets. There are a few cars, honking. I looked up the sky and looked at the LNY Company building. The whole building is dark, probably they all finisged their work and go home.

"Adam, I'm so sorry but I really—"

"Honey, who's that woman? Come here, I want—"

"Let's talk later." I heard adam said and drop the call. My heart clenched in pain as I heard a woman's voice on the line. Who was that?

I texted him that we'll meet tomorrow at my house and after a few minutes, he replied sure.

I once again looked up the building and I saw a light from the window of the LNY Company. I stared at it and I saw a figure of a man looking at the window, drinking something. I can't really see it since it's too far.

How I wish I could also see what's he's seeing. Probably the lights from different places. I sighed and continue walking home.

When I arrived at home, I put my money inside my safe box and ate the bread at the table. This is my dinner for today. I wanted to ask for help but I don't want to be dependent to Adam. He has his own life to live.

I heard my phone rang and I was excited when I saw that it's my best friend, Xia, who was calling. "Hi, Xi!" I greetes her.

"Hi, Az! Omg, I have great news for you!" she squeal.

"What is it?" I asked her.

"Yvo and I are getting married!" she said proudly and excitedly.

"Wow, my goodness, congrats!" I congratulated her excitedly.

"I must one of the bridesmaids or I will ruin your wedding," I joked.

"Oh you sure will be." she said as she sighed. "I can't wait to live with him." she said out of nowhere.

"I know, all you wanted to talk about is how manly Yvo and how lucky you are having Yvo beside you." we both chuckled.

"Well yes, so how about you? Any plans?" She asked. I remembered the money I save up.

"Yes! Finally I can go back to the university!" I said excitedly.

"Wow, that's a great news, congratulations but I am talking about your relationship with Adam. You know, wedding plans? You two has been together longer than us," she said.

I faked a laugh, "Well yeah. We'll celebrate our anniversary this month."

"Awww, congratulations Azusa!" she said.

I smiled even though she can't see me, "You too, congrats."

"I'll get going now, call me if you need anything okay?" she said.

"I will. Bye, see you soon."

"Bye, Az!" she said as she drop the call. I placed my phone on the table and walked to bed. I slumped and wait for Adam's reply but none.

It's already 6 am when I woke up and I felt my head heavy. Ugh, I feel sluggish as I went to my work.

"You okay, Azusa?" my manager asked me.

"Yes, just a bit dizzy. Maybe I'll catch a cold." I joked.

"Why don't you take a day off? Drink medicine after you come home." she suggested.

"Are you sure? Who's going to help you then?" I asked her.

"My grandson's coming today, don't worry. Go on, fix your things and move." she said. I nodded as I went inside and change my clothes.

I check my phone and I saw Adam's text that he's at my home, an hour ago. I was a bit excited I'm going to see him.

I hurriedly went home even though my head's heavy. I saw Adam's pair of shoes and woman's pair of heels. Is this his gift for me? I like the design of the heels.

I went checked the pair of heels and smiled when It was my favorite color, red. "Adam?" I called him. My house tiny and would only fit one to two person but it has a soundproof room and that's the greatest.

My room was closed so I went for it and open it only to find out that Adam's having sex with a woman.

I froze for a moment and looked at them moaning each other's name, "A-Adam.." I called his name.

He looked at me in horror as they both cover their naked body with my comforter.

"Az! I thought you're going home—" I was so furious but I can't let it out. I was so angry but I my voice won't say a word. I can't move my feet and my heart is heavier than my head.

"Out." I whispered.

"Az—"

"I said, get out!" I shouted. I heard their fast movements along my room and went out as fast as they could.

"Azusa, let's talk later okay?" Adam approached.

"Fuck you, get out!" I said as I threw him the pair of red high heels.

I felt my legs wobble as I fell on the floor. Tears flow through my eyes as if it has the pain I've been carrying. For the past few years, I stayed loyal, faithful, and loved Adam the most more than myself. H-How could he do this to me?

I gasped for air as I hyperventilate. My head's so heavy and my eyelids are closing. The chest pain I am feeling grew more and more as I screamed for help.

"H-He-Help me!"
