I woke up panting as I sat up on my bed recalling the nightmare that woke me.. I always woke up the the same scene in my sleep..

I always dreamt of the car accident that took my parents away from me. I snapped out of my thoughts and check the time.. and I gasped "it's already 5 am" I rushed out of the basement which was my room and ran up I cleaned the house as fast as I could and set everywhere for breakfast ,

By the time I was done it was seven am "just in time" I said under my breath and the my aunt came down the stairs glaring at me she walked to the sink not taking her eye of me I greeted her..

I prayed to God that nothing will go wrong, I didn't want another round of beating today ..

She drifted her eyes of me and I just knew I was saved I watched as my cousin Amanda and her dad walked into the dining

Amanda was spoilt brat that always had anything she wanted, she also disrespected me though I was older than her with five months they all sat on the dining table eating as I watched them

I stuttered a little the found my tongue"uhmm uncle berry uhmm.. I need a little money I spoilt the door way in my .. in the restaurant I work in by mistake "

Amanda looked at me in disgust and aunty Roberta walked out of the dinning table

Amanda said "I wish your stupid parents were here so we could punish them also for taking over grandma's riches and dieing of not giving any clue of how to get it"

Tears were about to drop from my eyes but i wasn't going to cry in front of Amanda ..

"These leftovers are for you and the dogs do well to give them a greater portion" she grinned and carried her bag off to school
