It's a new day and well... School begins today.

I'm in my final year in high school,not like there's anything special about it anyway.

It's just like the past years. Not many friends,still the boring girl that I am and still Betsy's bestie.

Betsy is the only friend I've got. We met at sophomore's year. And gosh!! She's so talkative. She actually never let me be,how she took a liking to me still baffles me and somehow we became besties.

We're so opposite,I'm a pure introvert and she's a pure extrovert. I love her anyways.

I got up from the bed to prepare for school.

After spending what seems like ages in the bathroom,I came out with a white towel wrapped around my chest and one around my head like a turban.

I applied some lotion on my body and then stood in front of my large wardrobe searching for what to wear.

I settled for a denim blue jacket over a jean trouser.

I looked at my hair, naturally red in colour. I wonder if I should dye it or not. Most times,I dye the base with either gold,white or black.

I decided I wasn't gonna dye it today,I grabbed a beanie and wore it over my head. I took a last glance at the mirror and then walked out of the room.

I headed to the dining room to meet mum and dad. Yeah,I'm an only child and I guess being the only child and having noone to talk to added to me being an introvert.

"Good morning mum and dad" I said settling on a chair beside mum.

"Morning princess,how was your night?" Dad asked spreading a large quantity of jam over his slice of bread.

"Fine daddy"

"I guess you're really excited to be in your final year,my baby will soon be going to college!!" Mum said smiling and I just rolled my eyes.

I quickly had breakfast and my driver drove me to school. Sian High School; it's actually owned by a Chinese who came to settle in America.

I walked through the hallway clutching my backpack tightly.

Everywhere was crowded and lively. Every one in groups chattering.

Some turned to look at me, admiring me as usual.

Yeah,I'm totally pretty and I have this killer accent but I don't let all that get to my head.

Some guys gave me flirtatious winks but I simply ignored them. They ought to have Known Kimberly Russell, I don't give a damn!!.

"Kim!!!" Betsy squealed running to me as she caught me in a bear hug.

I chuckled lightly as I reciprocated the hug.

"I've missed you bestie!!" Betsy said.

I raised an eyebrow. "Really Betsy?? We see literally every week during the holidays".

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever Kim,I still miss you!"

We walked to class together, talking about the holidays,well Betsy was actually doing most of the talking; remember I don't talk much.

"We have a newbie,he's hot!!" Betsy said dreamily.

"Like I care!" I muttered.

"C'mon Kimberly, loosen up a bit!" Betsy said frowning.

We entered the class and a cute new guy was sitting in the front row.

"That's the newbie,isn't he hot??!!" Betsy said grinning widely.

The guy suddenly raised his head and our eyes locked.
