"Tell the old man, I'm not going to marry!"

A handsome young man swifly strides towards the boarding gate amidst the bustling airport, while juggling a phone call.

"My Lord, the old master has agreed to postpone this marriage for now..."

"If I, Jason Lee, believe another word from that old man, then I have to be the world's biggest fool!"

"My Lord, this time it is indeed true. Please return soon!"

"Goodbye, I'm flying out."

After hanging up the phone, Jason, humming a tune and queuing, a crisp voice as clear as oriole suddenly rings out:

"Quick, catch him!"

Standing in the boarding queue, like everyone else, Jason turned his head to look.

A tall woman in professional attire, leading a few police officers in uniforms, striding towards them.

The woman's figure was graceful. Dressed in a well-fitted black short skirt, her long, straight legs exposed to the air. The well-proportioned figure coupled with her white, beautiful legs, along with her captivating face, could almost score ninety points.

At this moment, if it wasn't for the unshakeable coldness on her face, she could easily score a hundred.

"It's him." The woman pointed at Jason as she approached.

Jason was so shocked that his eyes widened and his mouth fell open. A few police officers quickly stepped forward, lifted him up and walked out with him.

Once outside, Jason was immediately shoved into a Bentley and driven away from the airport.

"Oh Jason, Jason, I never expected you to run away from home."

The woman's figure was voluptuous, clad in a perfectly tailored short black skirt. Her slender legs were bare, exposed to the air. The shape of her body, her curvy posterior, paired with those fair, beautiful legs and her exquisite face, could easily score a ninety.

At this moment, if her face did not hold an icy coldness that couldn't be concealed, she could have scored a hundred.

"We really don't know each other," Jason sighed helplessly.

The beautiful woman had a husband who looked exactly like him, who was also named Jason.

But that Jason was a married-in son-in-law.

Provoked by her, he directly ran away from home.

And after the runaway Jason was found at the airport, the woman immediately came over to take him away.

As a result, Jason was mistaken by this woman as her husband.

His real identity, however, was that of the eldest young master of the well-known superfamily, the Lee family, renowned both domestically and globally.

Having received various strict training since childhood, he was fluent in multiple languages and had made contributions across various industries. Moreover, he was regarded as the future patriarch of the Lee family.

If it were not for the family patriarch insisting that he marry a woman he didn't like, he wouldn't have run away from home.

"We don't know each other?" The icy coldness on the beauty's face deepened. "Are you trying to play amnesia with me?"

She took out a stack of passports, "These are all yours, right?"

"Yes, they're mine." Jason nodded.

As the eldest heir of the Lee family, he often had to travel around the world for work, always carrying these passports with him.

"I can't believe you actually prepared all these. Were you planning on running away from home all along? Which country are you planning to go to?" Coldly scoffed the beautiful woman, holding the passports, "The latest date was only a week ago, if you're going to forge these, at least make them look real!"

Saying so, she casually tore the dozen passports and threw them into a trash can.

Jason's eyes widened in disbelief, "I really don't know you, why would you throw away my passports?"

"You don't know me? Say you don't know me, Emma Thompson, one more time!" The beautiful woman clenched her lovely fists, took out her phone, and handed it to him with a chilling tone.

"See the messages you sent me on WhatsAPP for yourself!"

Jason took the phone, only to see the WhatsAPP message read: "Emma , I've had enough of you. We've been married for so long, and not only do you boss me around like a beast of burden, but you also don't let me sleep with you. I'm done with you! This submissive son-in-law role is too humiliating, I'm out. I'd rather beg than stay with you!"

While he was reading the message, Emma took out a black American Express card, "Is this yours too?"

"Yes."

Snap!

With a crisp sound, Emma snapped the card in two and threw it in the trash can as well.

"Have you gone mad?" Jason's face changed instantly.

Emma mocked in a cold voice, "Yes, it's me, Emma, who is mad. Mad enough to marry you, and to let you be the son-in-law of the Thompson family. But what I didn't expect was that apart from being gluttonous and lazy, you would also run away from home. You've really got some nerve!"

She was tormented. Her grandfather had told her on his deathbed that she had to stay married to Jason for two years. And it has just been half a year now.

Otherwise, she would have divorced Jason a long time ago!

"But I really don't know you." Jason looked at the passport and the black gold card in the trash can, feeling a pang in his heart.

He never expected that his failed attempt to run away from home almost drove him to his doom by this woman.

Even more baffling, he had somehow become this woman's live-in son-in-law.

"Heh, you even changed the address to the capital. Hasn't anyone informed you that forging documents is illegal?"

Emma took out Jason's ID card, glanced at it, snapped it into two, and tossed it into the trash can as well.

"Jason, I've tolerated you long enough. What exactly do you want? Are you not content until you've slept with me?"

She suddenly reached out, grabbed Jason's collar, her fair face turned crimson with rage: "But have you ever asked yourself, do you have the ability to do that?"

"You..." Jason felt he was even more wronged anyone in history!;

He, the young master of the Lee family, is now carrying such a huge burden!

And a blame he utterly didn't deserve!

"What are you stuttering for? Did I say something wrong?"

Emma glared at him angrily: "Go home with me right now! Dare to run away again and test me!"

Home?

Jason was stunned. He has no ID card, bank cards, passport, or anything now. It might be better to find a place to settle first.

It would also be good to take a rest for a while.

Moreover, he had never shown his face in River City, and even his family members might not be able to find him.

Thus, Jason, who was initially unwilling, immediately agreed to Emma's request.

On the way, Emma didn't converse with Jason.

Jason didn't bother to put up with Emma's attitude, instead focusing on his current situation.

He had left home because he didn't want to get married. Now, he could use the status of a live-in son-in-law to tide over this period.

Though this woman was beautiful, Jason had seen many beautiful women and didn't think she surpassed any of them.

He had no other intentions and just wanted to take a quiet break.

So, being a freeloading son-in-law for a while seemed like a good option. Jason inwardly nodded his approval.

Soon, Emma drove into a neighborhood of luxury houses.

From Jason's professional perspective, the people residing in this neighborhood must be either rich or noble. Unexpectedly, this cold beauty seemed to come from a well-off family.

However, it was puzzling why she would pick a man she referred to as a loser to be her live-in son-in-law.

The car stopped in front of a two-story mansion.

Emma coldly ordered, "Get out of the car!"

"Okay."

Jason responded, opening the car door and stepping out.

Emma looked at Jason with disgust, only then she got out of the car, walked to the entrance of the mansion, opened the door and went in, and Jason followed hurriedly.

Guided by a sense of making do with what was, Jason took a quick look at this house. The decoration was not bad — discreet yet luxurious.

But what does this Emma do for a living, he wondered secretly.

Now, since he was her husband, he should at least understand the situation.

"Find some time to clean up your dog house!" Emma led him to a messy room, took out a set of men's clothing from the wardrobe, and threw it at him, "Put it on, come with me to a party!"

"Party?"

Jason was startled, "What party?"

"Why are you asking so much? When you get there, speak less and avoid embarrassing yourself. Don't butt in if you don't know anything." Emma warned, "If you dare to talk nonsense and say what you shouldn't, watch out how I deal with you!"

"Uh ..."

Anyway, he had decided to play the role of Emma's husband for a while, then might as well go all out.

Jason nodded, "Alright, I'll try to be inconspicuous."

Looking at the woman standing in his room, he kindly asked, "Aren't you going out? Are you planning on watching me change?"

"Shut up! Who wants to watch you change?" Emma huffed and turned out of the room.

Upon hearing the door behind her slammed shut with a "bang", she was suddenly taken aback.

Previously, Jason would always find a way to take advantage of her. But now, he actually drove her out during his clothes changing!

"What trick is this guy playing now?"

Emma smiled coldly. "Since you've learned to run away from home, let's see what trick you're going to play next."

She returned to her room to change her clothes.

Jason looked at the clothes in his hands - not bad, Armani, worth about three to four thousand.

It's surprising how well that guy, also named Jason, lived - wearing such nice clothes and living in such a nice house.

But having such a beautiful girl around and being unable to get close to her must be frustrating. No wonder that guy ran away from home.

In no time, he changed his clothes.

After leaving his room, he casually took a tour and found an oversized study. There were many books about finance on the bookshelves.

A book titled "Myths of Wall Street" was placed on the desk.

It seemed to be frequently read.

Curiously, Jason opened it and saw a case marked with a colored pen.

It was about a man, hailed as the God of Wall Street, who used two million dollars to get started. Just when everyone thought he would end up losing everything, he successfully triggered a financial storm and turned the two million into two hundred million within two short months.

Hence, he was referred to as the God of Wall Street, a legend.

After cashing out the two hundred million, however, he disappeared from the public eye. Nobody knew his name, it was as if he had never existed.

Jason almost burst out laughing because the man described in the book was him!

That year, he was only nineteen!

He didn't expect that Emma would actually read this book.

Shaking his head, he skillfully opened his computer, typed a long string of characters into the search bar, and hit enter, directing him to a highly unusual webpage.

"Emma Thompson."

Jason typed Emma's name into the search bar, pressed enter, and all information about Emma instantly popped up!

"Emma Thompson, twenty-two years old, eldest daughter of the Thompson family... CEO of Jiang's Kang-An Corporation, got married six months ago..."

Jason scanned through it, and when he saw the photo of the man who married Emma, his heart couldn't help but pound: "Damn, could this be my long-lost brother? They look too much alike! Could it be that old man got himself into some love debt at some point?"

How he looked at it, Jason felt that the guy in the photo was an exact copy of himself.

No wonder Emma firmly believed he was her husband!
