Blackville

10:12 a.m.

The sun is scorching hot indicating the heart of Spring, trees waved their branches sweetly, and the ripe fruits shone with so much brightness.

Everything looked okay and so were the streets of Blackville, Surrounded by tall buildings, and also bungalows, it mostly had motels and cafe shops where people stopped by to have a rest.

Blackville was good and everything around it looked old-fashioned and had a standard of living elevated only for them. Every citizen in the town could cultivate its own small crops and generate money to buy his or her own basic necessities, they passed more time in working as small communities to better their lives.

The people of Blackville were highly respected, except for their law forces which gave them a mother of a headache.

Officers of the law rather brought disorder than order In the town, they were known for constantly harassing the people of Blackville and their reasons were always vague__ in case you didn't give them what they wanted, they will put a mark on you to remember that day.

Officers in the small town were no good than bad, and were the constant talks of the people, begging for the superiors to look down on matters concerning the country.

With them, it was always a matter that would be looked into, yet nothing was done, neither did they show any proof that things will be ameliorated in the town.

Blackville remained a place of blight, nothing good could be produced, and the fear of the police was the fear of all.

If you have any problem, either you keep your mouth shut or you try solving it yourself, and if things don't go well you might risk going to prison though it is originally not your fault.

"Police patrol__ one, two, three, file up under Officer Lewis, we are heading towards road number one hundred and ten, let's gather at the Cafe,"

Officer Robert's voice could be heard bashing through the speaker, and his deep baritone spoke of authority.

For ten years, he has tasted power, dominion and Blackville belongs to him. Robert had everything a villain could be painted in a book, he was thirty-five years old, yet looked like Forty. Strands of grey hair lined up his fine blonde hair, he had short hair that cut across his nape.

Officer Robert had bright round eyes, more like almond eyes, deep blue shades, and turned grey when he squinted, he did that often, and his jaws clenched greasing his chiseled cheeks out. His lip was only a thin line on his face and when he pursed it, one could no that he was contemplating removing his pistol from his waistband and shoot.

Well, that is a good signal to the people of Blackville, they knew when to run for their lives, yes, they did.

Sitting behind his police vehicle, he pushed down his sun shades which were dark in color and portrayed his wild nature.

No one dares him when he is on the road.

The small cafe shop located at the end of the street was now visible. It looked more like a broth, the best leisure place for anyone who wants to come to stop by. It is the center of attraction whereby townsmen of Blackville settled there to have some time with themselves.

At the front of the coffee shop, a big panel is attached to it, and it is having the size of a master doughnut hanging on the roof.

The painting on the outside was blue, mixed with grey, and had a good spot for parking. The shop was located in a very strategic point, and it was good to be there because they had the perfect service treats for all theirs clients, with no exception of favoritism.

Mr. Brown Peterson, the owner of the cafe shop had located here with his wife and daughter fifteen years ago, from Chicago Illinois to Blackville. He thought that living in the city to the countryside will have a positive effect on his daughter. Well, to an extent, it is good, and now, his little princess, Aleeyah Peterson is now seventeen years. Well-breed, an example of good parenting, and although she was two when they moved into this place, she always has flickers of memories flaunt her mind of the place where they came from.

Unfortunately for Mr. Peterson, the life he had wished for his family was been truncated when his wife passed away five years after they arrived in Blackville. This made him work even more, and now when he looks at the little shop and services they render, it makes him so happy.

At the shop, they have a very big space which is comfy, and even a private space do those who crave for themselves. The shop raises enough money for him to take care of his daughter, and this makes him happy. The rapid growth of the Peterson's Cafe has grown so big that they have several people coming in while others are going out at all times of the day, till late hours, where they have to retire for the night.

So far they enjoy the way things turn out to be, and he has succeeded in employing three ladies to help him serve, and two boys to deliver in case a client needs to be served at the other end of the town.

This is the stop point for the officers in town, they regrouped here, have their early breakfast or lunch before returning to work, and they discussed at every given time too. One could come in here on a fine day and think that Peterson's shop has to turn into an office where the officers now work__ well, it is just a way of provoking them to get their lazy ass to work instead of lazying around.

Lately, Peterson's Cafe Shop has gotten a bad record, especially of having bad boys hang around the place while observing the area as if they were thieves, maybe they were
