I was about to turn around and was ready to run to the kitchen when Daddy talked again.

Actually, the three of them, including Mommy, were looking at me teasingly.

He slightly glanced at me, so I raised my vision and glared at him again.
"Yes, dad! I miss you, daddy Haides!" One of them greeted my father and even went to him as if they were close.
Daddy accepted his handshake while chuckling.
I was stunned when the guy's eyes stopped on me.
"Actually dad, I'm here to ask for permission to court your daughter. She's so cute." He smiled at sweetly but I didn't smile back.
I stuck my tongue out and threw him an eye.
My brother placed his arm on my shoulders and hid me behind him. "Our pumpkin is not available for you flirtations, Niccolo."
The guy laughed loudly before raising both his hands in surrender. "Okay, dude. Dad, sorry. We're off-limits because of bro codes."

I walked to his direction to hit Dad but my brother already grabbed my arm.
"Why are you dragging me down, dad?" I mouthed to him.

My brother interrupted. "Enough, Adalee. You should eat in the kitchen, you haven't eaten since last night."
I nodded while smiling before kissing his cheek. Daddy also came to me and kissed my cheek.
I pointed my index and middle finger on my eyes before pointing it on them while walking away. I'm challenging them to a fight later.
"Adalee, baby, come on. Eat here," Mommy said sweetly beside me.
Before we could finally walk pass the living room, my eyes landed onto my honeybunchybaby.
But what I wasn't expecting is that... he's looking back at me!
And I know he was just staring at me because his eyes were following my direction.
When he disappeared from my sight, I released all my frustrations.
