United States of America, Washington DC

As dusk fell, the entrance of a mansion that rivaled palaces in terms of luxury teemed with cars and fancy bikes, and was crowded with celebrities and socialites who continuously arrived in a constant stream.

Today is the Quarterly showcase at the "Skyline Pavilion." Those who can partake are all the top-notch elites in Washington DC.

A black sedan parked quietly, yet it managed to capture the attention of many people.

With the relentless expansion of the Gray Corporation in the recent years Ethan Gray, the man behind it, has become increasingly renowned. His cold and proud demeanor resembles that of a natural-born king.

Before the paparazzi even got a chance to take his pictures, Ethan swiftly walked into the Skyline Pavilion, bringing the anticipation of the crowd to a sudden halt.

At this moment, a petite figure swiftly scurried into the place.

Subconsciously trailing behind Ethan's line, a child emerged in the bustling crowd.

After Ethan passed through the security screening, the little dumpling tried to follow but was stopped.

"Kid, you can't run around here!"

Hearing those words, a trace of displeasure flashed across the innocent face of the little boy, "Don't you dare to stop me! My dad just went in, and now I'm going in with him."

His expression was firm. To be able to attend this event, one has to be either wealthy or of respectable background.

The doorwoman bent down good-naturedly, "Little friend, who is your dad? I'll take you to him."

The little dumpling's eyes twirled, then he lifted his head and smiled at her, "Miss, who do you think I look a lot like?"

The doorwoman quickly understood. This was the first time she saw this little boy, but his face was oddly familiar to her. Although he wasn't dressed in formal clothes, his face does bear a striking resemblance to Ethan, who just walked in.

Looking even closer, she became more convinced.

"Little friend, what is your name?" she asked, a touch of surprise in her eyes, but chose to patiently inquire, just in case.

"My name is Asher Gray!" The little dumpling said with some pride, his head held high.

The lady suddenly realized, this was the son of Ethan Gray who had just entered. Although she wasn't sure of Mr. Gray having a son, but then news of him was scarce in the big city, leaving his identity a mystery.

However, Ethan Gray was a person who one could not afford to offend in the slightest way possible.

The lady hastily adopted a respectful attitude. "Young Sir, let me take you to your father!”

People around were curious and asked, "What's going on?"

"Didn't you see? He's CEO Gray's son. He was walking too slowly earlier on and got left behind!"

And just like that, the little guy enjoyed a smooth path ahead. The people around him were all attentive to every word he had to say. This was the first time he had experienced such treatment, and he was delighted. He couldn't help but sigh, how nice it would be if he really had a father like this. However, he had a different agenda for his visit today.

"Young Sir, CEO Gray is upstairs. Would you like me to take you up?"

The little guy looked up, "My father has important clients to meet. I'm fine playing on my own down here. Just bring me a bidding device, and you can go about your business.”

Despite being a young child, he carried a certain maturity beyond his years.

Indeed, he was like a child from CEO Gray's household. Seeing this, the lady couldn't help but praise, and promptly brought a spare changer from upstairs: "Happy bidding, Young Sir!"

After the lady left, Asher let out a sigh of relief. Looking at the bid changer in his hand, a triumphant smile graced his face.

It was all settling in nicely. He had successfully entered the Skyline Pavilion, and he was ready to give his mom a big surprise
