THIRD PERSONS POV
Black clouds made their way and the whole city was getting dark and silent only the thundering was to hear. The lightning was terrifying indicating it's going to rain badly. The winds were blowing aggressively from the streets making the litter on floor with dry leaves blow with them.
Everyone was running to go home in a rush, many shops were closed too while few people who stayed inside the mall or shops, they were in as their home was far away from them.
The reporters, weather forecaster, and radio jock were announcing repetitively that the weather is getting bad and people who are away from their house to take shelter nearby while others with kids should stay in home only as the storm may come with heavy rainfall.
But today even the bad weather didn't matter anything for those two who were fighting their own cyclones in themselves only. They were feeling turmoil inside them with commotion for what they feel for each other and near that nothing mattered for those two. As their own heart was just a piece of puzzle who were afar from getting completed.
They were intensely staring at each other standing at their office's terrace. Their eyes held many emotions but were unable to express any of them to each other with their lips.
The destiny was playing its card and they were just losing their everything in this game with them their selves. They felt as if something was tearing apart inside them and the pang, they felt was indescribable.
Their heart was bleeding from inside and no one was able to get those wounds filled up. But for sure it only kept on getting deep and deep every passing second.
Even their eyes felt like bleeding with the blood shot redness in them but still they were not being able to stop those bleeding at any cost.
It was like they are standing in a desert and the sand is slipping from below their feet and they were just getting an inch deeper in those sands with every steps.
No matter how much you struggle to come out of that but the steps they tried to take forward or backward it was pulling them inside deeper. Meaning at the end it was final that they are going to lose everything but not just their life.
But is it good to lose everything alone?
Or when you know you are about to lose you should get together?
At least a feeling of being together will be there inside them giving satisfaction. Isn't it?
He walked to her and she stepped back looking down with face tilted to the left. She did not want the closeness to be more between them as she know she might lose her control especially after what they actually did last night.
She tried to look at him with a stern look but failed and turned her head to look out the view as her eyes had tears and were blood shot red which she wanted him not to witness.
But was she even able to hide it?
No, coz the pain was equal for both of them and when hearts are connected even if you try to hide you might fail.
Her heart was aching seeing his pain, body getting cold and numb wanting for his warmth but she couldn't step ahead and wrap her arms around him.
She was feeling helpless and so what he was feeling seeing her in pain.
His heart was her aching for her acceptance and arms dying to hold her in his. She fits perfect in his arms wrapped around him as if they are made only for her with her head leaning on his chest making his heart fluttered but today, she doesn't want him to comfort her.
She doesn't want his warmth only and is trying to get away though she knows it's tough and impossible for her.
She still wants to get distanced and break one relation which is deep and attached for saving other relations. Those relations who never cared for her much and even if they did, they weren't there for her.
His eyes wanted to cry and mind kept on screaming internally but all was in vain coz being sibling you can't be together and it's a crime too.
But still he wanted to commit this sin because after his wife only she made him alive again.
She made her believe again that he has a heart too and it beats not for just pumping blood but for making you realize you are alive and can love.
But was it wrong to grab a second chance in his life?
She in a cold voice said trying her best to not breakdown near him that whatever they have or had between them is nothing and should be get over by now.
She doesn't want him near her and nor will ever allow him to come close anymore.
From today, their paths will get separated as they are like railway tracks who can be together but can never ever meet each other.
His body got numb listening her words and head was feeling dizzy with vision getting blur. She was continuing when he finally spoke back with difficulty in a hurt and hoarse voice.
Coz even though his tears didn't roll down he was still sobbing down internally and wanted to destroy the whole world like this thundering night.
"Amy let's get together and forget the fact we are siblings... scratch it we are just step siblings", he said to her.
"But it's wrong Nicole we can't", she said sadly.
"Don't you feel the same way I do", he grabbed his arm pulling closer towards him and her body hit his hard chest.
She looked up at him and spoke "I am sorry!! I need to go" almost in a whispering tone with tears rolling down.
"No, you can't!! Please don't do this", he pleads looking into her eyes.
"I have to...", she whispers taking her hand back from his hold and leaves.
Nicole stands there with tears in his eyes looking her back and vowed that no matter what he will make her his. His child Danny and him needs her and he will make her his at any cost. He won't let the destiny, rituals or anything in this world snatch his love again from him.
While she with a heavy heart shedding tears left the building in hurry and ran to her car before breaking down fully. After getting into her car she punched the steering wheel and broke down crying hard.
