Introduction
No one knew that the strikingly handsome and incomparably noble heir of the Gu family had secretly gotten married—only for his wife to run away while carrying his child. That was, until one day, when the young master Gu cornered the woman who had fled with his baby in front of all the media. Pressing her against the wall, he kissed her until her face burned crimson, then narrowed his eyes with smug satisfaction. Young Master Gu: "Moved?" The trembling little thing: "I—I daren't move!" Young Master Gu: "I *allow* you to be moved." The shivering little creature pinned against the wall: "*Whimper*... I really daren't move!"

“Secretary Paul, I’m pregnant. The child belongs to President Morgan. Here’s the pregnancy checklist.”

In the office, the woman gently slid a piece of paper across the desk with her slender, fair fingers.

Paul Muller glanced at it.

Then he looked up and asked calmly, “So, Miss Katherine, do you need me to help you register with the orthopedics department?”

“That’s not necessary,” the woman replied, shaking her head. She gently stroked her flat lower abdomen and said with a proud smile, “I came here today just to inform Secretary Paul that Mr. Morgan personally asked me to get pregnant with his child.”

“And then?”

Paul Muller asked again.

He recognized the enchanting woman in front of him—Katherine Sabrina, a rising model who had recently gained fame.

Two months ago, a paparazzo had snapped photos of her entering and leaving a hotel.

"With Jesse.

At that time, the news went viral online instantly, only to be suppressed in a flash by the Morgan family’s thunderous methods. Over the years, she had become very familiar with every piece of gossip about Vivian. Katherine Sabrina was the 21st.

His heart ached deeply, though it seemed he had grown used to it.

Paul Muller picked up the pregnancy test report from the table and checked the date. It matched exactly.

As if sensing what he was thinking, the woman across from him smiled even more sweetly.

“You guessed right. That night two months ago, Mr. Morgan and I…” At this point, she lowered her head and blushed.

Paul Muller sneered.

“Miss Katherine, you claim that Mr. Morgan fathered your child. But I’m just one of his secretaries. What exactly do you want from me? Or… is it that you can’t contact him at all and hope I’ll help you reach him instead?”

The smile on Katherine Sabrina’s lips instantly froze.

Paul Muller was right. Since that night two months ago, Nathaniel had blocked her number. It had taken tremendous effort just to reach him again. How could she allow such a powerful man to slip away so easily?

“I’ve looked into you. You’ve been by Mr. Morgan’s side the longest over these years. I don’t believe there’s nothing between the two of you. This pregnancy report—it’s both a warning to you and an opportunity for you. Mr. Morgan—deep down, you must know he’s beyond your reach. But me…” She stroked her belly again. “I’m different from you. I have looks, class, and now… his child.”

“If you help me, I’ll reward you generously in the future. But if you refuse—” Katherine’s eyes darkened, losing all their earlier gentleness. “When I become Mrs. Morgan, you’ll be the first one I eliminate!”

Paul Muller smiled, lips curling with faint amusement.

After so many years, this was the first time she’d encountered a woman like Katherine Sabrina—someone who tried to pull her in, only to discover she was playing with the real threat.

Leaning forward slightly, Paul asked coldly, “You plan to become Mrs. Morgan… but do you even know what Mr. Morgan hates most?”

Katherine was caught off guard and asked reflexively, “What?”

“He hates deception more than anything. And he hates… unnatural faces.”

“You… what do you mean?” Katherine’s expression finally shifted to fury.

“Miss Katherine, you know better than anyone what’s wrong with your face. How did you even manage to get pregnant?” Under Katherine’s widening eyes, Paul Muller stood up, pushing the chair back. She looked at the woman coldly and added, “You know the truth, don’t you? And even if it happened—do you really think your face is that beautiful? That your appearance alone can hold his attention?”

Only now did Katherine clearly see Paul Muller’s face—cold, commanding, and stunningly beautiful.

“Good God… a true national treasure!”

Compared to her, Katherine… was nothing.

Her face turned pale, then flushed with shame. Before she could react, Paul Muller had already called security and had her escorted out.

Less than half an hour after she was removed, the office door was suddenly kicked open.

Looking up, Paul saw a man standing in the doorway, his cold aura sharp and imposing. Dressed in a high-end, black tailored suit that outlined his lean, refined figure, he had a trace of barely contained fury on his handsome face.

He was angry.

Who could have provoked him this much?

Instinctively, Paul Muller stepped back two paces. But before she could speak, the man had already grabbed her arm.

Paul froze.

When they got married, he hadn’t touched her. Even after three years of marriage, he never laid a hand on her. At the company, in front of outsiders, he treated her like a stranger—never speaking unless it was work-related.

So, until now, no one even knew she was Nathaniel Morgan’s wife—his quietly married little wife.

But now… he was holding her back.

What did he intend to do?
