Jonathan Kingsley had spent his entire life chasing his dream.He had built a $3 billion mansion in Manhattan but today in his family dinner meeting,he was nothing.The whole table that was full of the whole Kingsley family members looked at him as if he was a failure.

"At your age,you still don't have a wife?wow you are such an embarrassment",his aunty slammed a glass of wine down on the table.

The whole dining table went quiet . Jonathan stood at the edge of the table.He wore a $10 000 suit but he felt completely naked.

"At your age,I was already married.Why is it difficult for you to also do the same thing?",his father spat.

"Your grandfather is dying upstairs,his last wish is to see you settled with a decent wife and a son.Well,it looks like that isn't gonna happen anytime soon",his mother interfered.

"I am busy running a company that you all live lavishly of", Jonathan said codly.

"Busy?come on we all know the truth,no decent woman can stand for an arrogant and cold man like you for more than a week.Which decent and respectable family can give you their daughter?",his mother laughed cruelly.

"Jonathan,if you don't bring a fiancee to my 80th birthday dinner tomorrow,forget about running your grandfather's company.I will hand it over to your cousin Daniel",his frail grandmother interfered.

Daniel smiled from across the table.

Humiliation burned in Jonathan's chest.The press called him heartless but he never expected his family to also call him that.He stood up without saying anything to his family.

He quietly went to his office,he just overlooked all of Manhattan.He poured whisky with shaking hands and suddenly,his phone rang.

"Mr Kingsley ,it's Mrs Smith from the agency.You called us earlier on looking for a clean , innocent girl for only one night.I have her.She is from a small rural area called Tennessee".

Jonathan went quiet for some time ,he just stared at the city light.

"How innocent?",he said,sipping the whisky on his hands.

"She has never ever had a boyfriend sir and she has never been to New York before,".

"Bring her tommorow,my family wants me to show them a fiancee.I will show them her and they will never question me again",he said, sipping the last drop of the whisky.
