Blue Rivers can't seem to escape her past. It always seems to haunt her and drag her back into its abyss. Her mother is doing time and she's left as the only caregiver to her young brother. She's convinced herself that she's not worthy of love and never will be. When she asks A student Corbyn Coleman to tutor her, she slightly changes her stance that all men are the dogs, because he's kind, sweet and generous with his time, patient with her; best of all he's genuine. When a plot of revenge gets botched and leaves her violated, what will she do? Who will she turn to?. How will they make this work? Especially when she has been keeping so many secrets that could ultimately destroy their already fragile foundation?

Corbyn's POV

"Ooops!!"

Books and papers flew in all directions as two bodies collided. One was rock hard, the other soft, curvy and feminine.

I leaned back on my locker and watched the mistress of seduction at play as she reeled in recently single, captain of the football team, Levi Matthews into her web.

"I'm so sorry!" Levi suddenly was all hands and thumbs, he looked at the mess on the floor frantically and stooped down to pick it up, probably as a way of redeeming himself.

"It's okay," she said as she bent over precisely the same time as he did and they knocked heads.

"I'm so sorry!" Levi, who was usually the epitome of cool, calm and collected was clearly embarrassed—a word we didn't know existed in his vocabulary until now.

"Are you okay??!" he placed his long finger under her chin and that was mistake number one.

Once he took a look into those helpless, mesmerizing eyes he was a hooked in. There was no turning back from here. What or whoever Blue Rivers wanted, Blue Rivers got. You could take that straight to the bank. Yeah... told you she was that good.

It was lunchtime, and even as students rushed along the corridors at they seem caught up in their own little bubble. They both abandoned the books and Levi focused on examining the damage his robust and chiseled head might have inflicted on Blue's fragile, petite one.

"I'm just a little sore but... nothing I can't handle..." she tossed her blue hair back and the meaning was not lost on Levi.

Come on this was Blue—friggin—Rivers! The stuff that every guys wet dreams were made of.

He ordered one of his minions to pick up the scattered books as he took Blue's arm. "Maybe we should get some ice on that—Blue is it?"

She nodded as she touched his forehead lightly with the tips of her fingers. "Yes and you are..??" she posed the question as if she didn't have an inkling who he was.

"L—Levi—uh—Matthews." He was too flustered to do more than return the pressure of the small, firm hand.

"I think you can give me my books back now," she smiled warmly and her smile seemed to tranquilize his conscience.

"Did we just witness history unfold?" Justin Harper asked in awe as he stood beside me. "Is 'The Great' Levi Matthews breaking into a sweat?"

"He stuttered," I added. "Don't forget that he stuttered," I emphasized my point.

"You're so concerned about me... what about you?" her full, luscious, kissable pink lips dropped into a frown. "You're sporting a little red bruise right here..." her fingers rested on his temple. Her nearness was having its calculated effect on him.

"Pffft! It's nothing! I've suffered worse." Levi's green eyes softened as he saw the concern in her face.

"Well, I'd love to hear more about it." Her face lit up with genuine interest.

"Can we sit together at lunch?" he asked hesitantly.

She did not answer; but shyly, in sweet self—consciousness, looked down.

"You don't have to—you—know—if you don't want to. You probably have other plans—"

Gosh! Levi was just so out of character today. Guess it was the Blue Factor that had got him all hot and bothered.

"I'd love to," she replied as she bit the inside of her cheek.

"Really?!" Levi's eyes widened, "I mean—uh—great—that's great," he smiled as he took her hand and led her to the cafeteria, thinking he had just scored big.

She had a talent for doing that. A real, genuine one. She would seduce a guy and he wouldn't even know it. Yeah... she was that good.

Her name was Blue Laura—Jane Rivers.

She had the most striking, clear, sea—blue eyes I'd ever seen. They reminded me of the sea in the Greek islands, where our family had once vacationed. Her skin was as smooth as a baby's tush and she had a rocking, killer bod that always had guys wondering what it looked like under the tight clothes that she usually wore. Some were lucky enough to have uncovered it and they had only every explicit things to say. Her long hair was always colored in different shades of blue. No one knew what her real hair color was.

She pretty bad girl that guys loved, and girls loved to hate. Personally, my feeling towards her were indifferent.

Besides the fact that she was way out of my league, apparently she only dated popular guys, eg. guys on the football team, basketball, tennis stars, team captains and even went as far as dating college sophomores although she was still in a senior at high school.

We were both in the same music class and the Performing Arts Club. She was super—talented and everyone said that she would make it big one day, probably sooner than we thought. Blue was part of a pop/rock band and they were popular in our circles.

She had a reputation as a bad girl and a serial heartbreaker. But that didn't stop guys from wanting a piece of her. She didn't do relationships but had casual flings. Everyone knew that but it's like it added to her mystery, to her attraction.

Boys at school fell over each other to try and secure a coveted date with her. Although she was a free—spirit, they were easy to come by. Trust me.

And with this being our final year and prom just around the corner, most dudes hadn't lost hope as yet.

"Twenty bucks says that she will dump him by the end of the week." Justin wagered as we made our way to the lunchroom.

"He will have to date her first bird—brain." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh they're already dating," he laughed. "he just doesn't know it yet!"
