Rosetta was grieving from her father's passing. Her father, the Alpha of Dark night pack, had suddenly been murder and taken away from her by her own mate. As grief consumed her, but little did she know that her sorrow would only deepen more and slowly, Little did she know, her mate Ray, who had always wanted her father's pack, was planning his next move even before her father's body had gone cold.
As she sat there, lost in her thoughts in a dark room where she was been locked up by her so called mate, suddenly the door to the room swung open with a loud bang. Rosetta's heart skipped a beat as her mate Ray stepped through the door. His cold gaze scanned the room before settling on her. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized he was the one who had arranged this terrible fate for her.
"What do you want from me you monster?" Rosetta asked him flatly but her voice was filled with rage and anger evident in her eyes.
Ray sneered at her, his eyes filled with disgust. "What do I want? Do you really expect me to answer that, you foolish and stupid bitch?" He took his steps towards her.
As he approached her, Rosetta felt a sense of fear wash over her. She knew he was here to inflict more pains on her, to add in her suffering. And yet, she refused to let him see her fear. Instead, she met his gaze head-on, her eyes blazing with hate.
"Leave me alone, you have killed my father and taking over the clan, what more do you want from me?" Anna hissed at him. But it was no use, Ray remained unmoving, a cruel smile playing at his lips. "Oh, dear rose, I'm afraid that's quite impossible. You see, I've gone through a lot of pains, sleepless night and stress to ensure you end up where I want you to be and that's exactly where you will be."
Rosetta's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean? What more have you done?" she demanded, anger surging within her.
Ray chuckled coldly, enjoying rosetta's confusion. "You really don't realize the bind you're in, do you?" He taunted. "You see I'm not your fated mate."
Rosetta's heart pounded loudly in her chest as she struggled to make sense of Ray's words. " What do you mean!" she cried out. "But i feel the mate bond between us."
"Ah, but that's where you're wrong," Ray said. " Well i went to an old witch to do some things, she gave me a portion to give you and then you will automatically feel a mate bond that doesn't even exist, and after all i have my true mate."
Tears welled up in Anna's eyes as the realization dawned on her. "You fooled me for five years ," she accused, her voice trembling. "You manipulated not only me but everyone! You're a monster, Ray. I hate you!"
Ray's eyes glinted dangerously. "You hate me?" he said, his voice dripping with hatred and rage. "Good. Let that hatred fester within you, Rosetta. It will only make this next part all the more delicious."
Rosetta could hardly believe what she was hearing. "What are you talking about, Ray? What more could you possibly do to me?" she pleaded, desperation evident in her voice.
Ray let out a cold, heartless laugh. "Oh, I have plenty more in store for you, my dear rose. First, I'm going to make sure that you suffer just as much as my parents did. Then, just when you think there's no more pain left for you to endure, I'm going to do the worst of all.
Rosetta's stomach sank in as Ray spoke, her body shaking with terror. "Why are you doing all of this?" she whispered, struggling to keep up with everything she had just heard.
Ray face contorted with anger, his eyes narrowing at her. "You want to know Why, fine i will tell you. Do you have any idea how it felt to watch my parents been murdered?" he seethed, his voice dripping with pain and anger."
"You see my parents were supposed to be the Alpha and Luna of this pack but you parents stole it away from them.“ Ray was speaking when the door suddenly opened.
A young woman walked in majestically and walked to where Ray was standing.
“Babe, how's it going she said pulling him extremely close as they began to kiss fiercely totally ignoring Rosetta.
Rosetta wanted to speak but was caught off guard by the sudden display. Her face which was filled with shocked immediately turned to hatred and betrayal. She tried to find her voice to speak but as she opened her mouth to speck no words came out.
Miya pulled away from Ray and then stared at Rosetta with pride.
“i know you're shocked but close your mouth before you swallow a fly.“ Miya said her voice filled with mockery. “You see Ray and i are fated mate.“ she added.
“How….how could you, we are best friends.. how can you betray me.“ Rosetta said as tears began to drop falling from her eyes.
“Best friends or more like side kick you say.“ Miya said as she began to walk round in circles.
“you never took me like you best friend, you always like to be the center of attention just because you're the Alpha's daughter, oops you were.“ Miya said as her voice begins to get cold.
“that's not true.“ Rosetta tried to defend herself.
“Are you calling me a liar?“ Miya asked as she stood in front of Rosetta.
Rosetta didn't respond but Miya wasn't having it so she gripped rosetta hair pulling her up and slamming her with great force to the wall which caused Rosetta to shriek in pain.
“ahh..“ rosetta hissed in pain, she wondered where Miya's strength came from but she didn't have time to dwell in it because of the pain she was feeling.
“when i ask you a question, you reply, do you understand!“ miya asked staring at Rosetta in anger.
Rosetta stared blankly at her and still not responding, which fuelled Miya anger more. Miya threw her to the ground became to punch and slap her giving her series of marks on her body.
Rosetta fell on the floor she couldn't fight back due to she was chained on both her legs and hands but that didn't stop Miya, she continued to kick Rosetta on her stomach which caused Rosetta to bleed from her mouth and nose.
“calm down babe, it's enough we still have plenty more in store for her we wouldn't want her to die now.“ Ray said as he pulled Miya away fom Rosetta.
Only then will did Miya calmdown.
“Wait one more thing.“ Miya said in a mischievous voice. She pulled out a small bottle from her jacket.
“You see this.“ Miya said as she waved the little bottle in front of Rosetta. “ This potion is going to destroy your wolf.“ she said as she starts to laugh loudly, then she stopped.
“But that's not all, this potion will make your mate never find you even if he is close to you. You may feel the bond but he wouldn't, so you see, you will never have a mate in this life.
