Frederick Brown was in his office busied doing some work on his laptop when his phone rang out the tune of his favorite song. He quickly glanced at his phone to know the caller.

Ah, mum, he whispered to himself, but why is she calling, Frederick thought for a while, before he eventually picked it up.

Hello mum, he said.

Frederick, how are you and your wife? She asked.

We are all doing well ma, Frederick replied to her, waiting to hear what she want to say.

"Are you in the office or at home? She asked.

in the office, hope no problem mum. he asked still wondering why she called.

"I will be coming to your place this weekend," she said.

"But why mum," Frederick said, and she later dropped the call.

Frederick was in deep thought, about what his mum coming to do in their place flooded his mind, since the time he and Patricia got married for the past ten years, they haven't been able to bear a child and this made her and his mum not to be in good term and he has been preventing her from coming to their place because of her troubles, Being the only child of Mr & Mrs. Brown and despite his father, who died in a fatal accident when traveled to Germany for his business when Frederick was nine year old, Frederick usually makes all effort to make his mother happy.

"Frederick, are you going not going home," Dave asked jolting him away from his thought.

They have been a close friend since they started working at Wilson investment company and have been sharing the same office.

"Not at all, I still have some work to submit on my laptop," Frederick said and stared at him.

"Okay, just be fast with it."

"Hope you are preparing to take the position of managing director in this company." Dave teased him.

"Why did you say that," Frederick asked.

"Since you are still busying on your laptop till this time," Dave said and they both laughed.

"Dave was known by all the staff in the company due to his sense of humor, he can crack jokes to make someone laugh, even when that person does not feel like laughing.

Dave glanced at his wristwatch.

"It is already 2'0 clock." He said within him.

"Frederick, l will not be able to wait for you, I'm going home." He said and hurry out of his office to pick up his children at school.

"Okay, bye and see you tomorrow," Frederick said as he raised his face a little bit.

A few minutes later, Frederick was already done with his work and was ready to go home.

"Mr. Brown!" Karen called as she was Frederick holding his briefcase about to go home.

She was also a staff in the company, she was locking her office at the time she was Frederick as her office was not that far from Frederick's office.

"Yes, Frederick said as he stopped to look at her.

" Please, can you give me a ride to my house?" She asked walking close to him as she twisted her buttock in her fitted pink gown that fell on her thigh.

She was the kind of person that has been trying her best to have to seduce Frederick so that he can have her by all means.

"Okay, and where are you going to," Frederick asked her.

"Johnson street"

"That's nice, it is the exact route I'm going to be passing as I am going home." He said beaming with a smile.

"Wow" She exclaimed and she trailed behind him.

Stella quickly enters the front seat with Frederick as they get to where Frederick parked his car and they drove off Immediately. They were quiet on their way home until Stella broke the silence.

"I will be alighting here," she said while Frederick quickly stopped the car and she gets down.

"Bye," Karen waved her hand at him as she was already standing on the road.

Frederick also waved his hand at her as he Ignites his car and drove off home.
