I looked at the mirror in my hotel room for the last time, this is my reality and l had to embrace it. I have to go before he comes back and see me here. I know for a fact he will try his best to stop me from leaving and l can not risk it. I took a pen and paper and wrote the most heart breaking message ever. I will never forgive myself but hey a person's gotta do what he/she gotta do to live. I grabbed my handbag and suite case, made a beeline for the door. I gotta catch my flight and l can not afford to miss this one, if l do then lm doomed. My eyes were watery, my vision blurred because of the tears threats to fall. 'Why am l so unlike? He was my Mr Right and this is how it is going to end?' I asked myself alot of questions and surprisingly l could not answer any of those questions. I was so engrossed in my own world that l didn't realise that l was already checking out. And then it hit me if l was not out of this country within 24hours then nothing good is coming my way. I quickly gathered my belongings and looked for a taxi. Within a short period of time l was on the plane back home leaving everything behind, my love and my passion. I managed to just let out a sigh of relief and my heart started aching . I wanted to hug someone and just ball my eyes out. Unfortunately l couldn't do that because I was with strangers and l needed to be strong for both me and my love. I quickly reminded myself 'Skylar you need to be strong it's not for your benefit or selfish reasons but selfless reasons'. My eyelids started feeling heavy and sleep took over. This might be the last trip for me in a while. Maybe one day l will be back to claim what is rightfully mine, if l get the confidence but for now l need my peace. Unnecessary drama is the last thing l need during this important stage of my life. I needed to get as far away from this place as possible even if it means l will have to go and live in another country so that my family will not be messed with.
