Allegra pov

I focused my scope. My eyes scanned throughout the five-star restaurant 1500 meters away. My breathing steadied as I focused on my target. He aligned perfectly within my sight. He was an unpleasant looking man. Overweight, silver hair, that kind of smile that makes your skin crawl. No surprise he was surrounded by trashy whores half his age. But what else can you expect from a gangster?

Now the question of the day: Head shot? Or heart shot?

That was always my biggest dilemma during my missions. I sighed and settled for the head. I held my breath to focus the shot, and pulled the trigger.

His head practically exploded, sending blood flying all over the whores he was with as his lifeless body plopped to the floor. His security rushing to him, frantically trying to grasp what just happened.

"Gotcha." I chucked as my lips curved into a grin.

I grabbed my sniper rifle, my trusty McMillan Tac-50, and started packing it up. I dismantled my weapon in record time, and dusted my self off. I reached into my pants pocket, and pulled out a pack of cigarettes. I hit the bottom of the box three times, before opening it and sliding one out. I lifted it to my mouth as I hummed Fly Me To The Moon by Frank Sinatra. A fucking classic. I slid the box back into my pocket, grabbed my rifle, and made my way downstairs.

The vantage point I picked was an old warehouse building about a mile away. Still humming, I quickly descended 5 flights of stairs to the abandoned building. Sirens screamed in the distance, knowing they were cleaning up the mess I made. I smiled in satisfaction as I took another drag of my cigarette.

The vibrations of my phone snapped me back to reality. Bitting my cigarette, I dug through my bag trying to find that annoying device.

"What?" I answered, more like mumbled because I was still holding the cigarette between my teeth.

"Is he taken care of?" The cold voice asked

"Yup." I said popping the p obnoxiously. I know how much he hates that.

"Good job Grey. We'll see you at the safehouse."

"Alright, see you soon." I said as I hung up.

I took a step forward only to see an object flying towards me. Reacting quickly, I ducked and examined the wall behind me. A very large knife was sticking out of the wall where my head was.

"Well look what we have here." A chilling, yet familiar voice called out from the shadows. He took a step forward into the light, confirming my assumption.

Still half cloaked in darkness, I saw a pair of expensive loafers, and a nice looking suit. His Armani suit fit his figure perfectly. He was wearing a white dress shirt tucked in with a few buttons undone, showing his intricately designed tattoos on his neck. He was about 6'2 or 6'3. He had a lean muscular physique.

"What a pleasure running into you, Ace." I said with sarcasm dripping off every word. His name coming out of my mouth tasted like poison. I stood up and leaned against the wall as I took a long drag of my cigarette.

He grinned a perfect smile at me as he stepped forward again, slowly closing the space between us.

"It'll be more pleasurable once you stop breathing." He yelled as he lunged towards me.

I flicked my cigarette at his face and quickly grabbed his arm and swung it around so it was painfully pushed against his back.

I got on my toes to reach his ear. "Maybe your uncle can teach you how to treat a lady properly, oh wait, that's right. He can't." I laughed, my lips brushing his ear. "Because I just killed him."

Ace used his free hand to push off the wall and knock me off balance. He grabs the knife sticking out of the wall and swings it towards me.

I duck, narrowly escaping the blade. I have to give it to him, he's one fast fucker. He quickly jabs at me, dodging a bit too late as it grazes my arm.

He throws a left hook with his other hand causing me to fall to the ground. He jumps on top of me and straddles me. He grips my neck with his large hand and starts increasing the pressure, cutting off my air. He raises the knife in his other hand he looks down at me smiling.

"Awwwh come on Grey. I thought you'd put up more of a fight." He smirked tracing my face lightly with his knife.

" Y-you." I breathed out as I bucked my hips causing him to lose his balance and tumble over.

I hit his wrist, and skillfully took the knife from him. I swung my leg over him, straddling him as I placed the knife to his neck.

"If you wanted to ride me all you had to do was ask." He said smirking.

"Get over yourself." I said coldly.

I increased the pressure on his neck, causing blood to drip out. His demeanor didn't change, he held onto his fearless expression as he looked me in the eyes.

Just as I was about to slit his neck, I was caught off guard by the sirens blaring outside the warehouse.

"Come out with your hands up!" A cop yelled through the speaker.

I looked down at Ace to see his eyebrow raised in amusement.

"It wouldn't look too good for you to come out covered in my blood, now would it darling?" He said with a stupid smirk plastered on his face.

I slowly raised myself off of him, with the knife still pointed towards his neck.

He stood up and started backing away, chuckling to himself.

"Next time, you won't be so lucky fucker." I said with the knife still raised.

"Until next time, Grey." He smirked as his disappeared into the darkness.
