The rain was pouring hard as the heavens rages with anger and sadness. The streets were flooded as the wind blew stronger. The tide of the ocean rises and hits the shore with a huge impact leaving a huge debri near the dock while one person was standing beside the coconut tree staring at the sand. His name was Kevin Klein, a 16 year old boy who has lived his life full with misery and agony since the time when he had escaped and abandoned his family in London. Kevin ran away at the age of 10 and started his new life here in Agustine Florida in order for him to settle and to break free from his abusive parents chains and all of the problems that he felt way back in London. The storm became stronger as the lightning and thunder had a conflict above the heavens, but Kevin still stood beside the coconut tree as his thoughts kept on lingering as he mesmerizes to his darkest past.
Tears fell down from his eyes and he decided to move slowly away from the tree and started to take a walk. As he keeps on walking the storm slowly ceases while rain drops from the sky began to drop slow, he looked up to the sky and saw a flock of birds flying heading north. "I never thought I'd live another day to see loops" he said to himself while smirking. He put both of his hand to his pockets and continued to walk his way back to his house. While walking his way back he stumbled upon an old man sitting at the bench of the central park looking pale and weak. Kevin then immediately approached the old man "Excuse me, um sir are you alright?" The old man didn't responded to Kevin until he saw a blood dripping below at bench where the old man sat. Kevin hurriedly checked on the old man and saw a wound at the chest. "Oh god!" Kevin exclaimed as he saw the blood dripping and flowing fast while the old man was barely breathing.
Kevin immediately applies basic first aid which is to put compress on the area where the wound is severe, he puts his clean cloth that he was always carrying and applied pressure slowly to the affected area of the wound and stopped the blood from leaking. "Thank God I stopped it, now I need to call for some help" Kevin then grabs his phone from his pocket that was covered with some kind of container to protect it from getting wet or something dangerous, he quickly called for help and for the less than 2 minutes, the ambulance arrived fast since the hospital was only 4 kilometers away from the central park where Kevin was located. "Thank goodness you arrived quick, I was worried about this old man since he's barely breathing it almost gave me a panic attack" Kevin told the rescuers and they responded "Not bad kid, you did a great job on compressing and giving pressure on the affected area, kids like you are only rare to practice and apply first aid since, teenagers nowadays only focuses on playing video games"
The rescuers then slowly carried the old man and put him slowly on the ambulance. Kevin then also followed them and got inside into the ambulance. As the ambulance starts to move the old man suddenly rises with his eyes close while all of the passengers inside the ambulance were petrified and shocked including Kevin. The old man then stands up as like nothing happened and quickly approached Kevin. "You" Kevin then made a confused expression when the old man talked, the old man then pointed his fingers towards Kevin leaving everyone's attention focused to Kevin's. "Yes, you the boy who can change the flow of time and fate" Kevin then stand from his sit and made a response to the old man. "Me?" The old man approached him and grabbed his shoulders instantly "Yes you! You're the only one who could save and stop him" Kevin was then more confused on what the old man was speaking "You're crazy, what are you talking abou-" Kevin didn't finished what he was about to say when the old man gave him a state that made his whole body motionless. "It's not too late, you're our only last hope in regaining freedom" The old man's hand were shaking as his breathing slowly fades as his eyes were slowly turning white. "What are you talking about?!" Kevin is startled and confused about the old man's preaching. "What is happeni-" The old man then puts his finger to Kevin's lips giving him a shush treatment. "I can't explain what's happening right now but you need this" The old man took something from his pocket, he held a necklace that has a clock and peace symbol. "With this necklace you will know the answer that you're seeking, please you're our only last hope" The old man collapses after saying his last and final words before his life was taken away from him. Kevin rushes towards the collapsed body of the old man and attempted to wake him up "Hey! Hey! Wake up! What do you mean our last hope?! Stop fooling around!" The rescuer immediately grabs Kevin and restraint him leaving Kevin dazed and confused at the situation he was in. 2 days after the incident, Kevin couldn't still sleep because of what happened 2 days ago. He kept on thinking about the old man's words about him being the last hope which actually made no sense at all. He always stares and examines the necklace with the clock and peace symbol but nothing really happened or occured. "Last hope, last hope" Kevin kept on repeating every last word but nothing really rings a bell about what he heard. "I need to settle down for awhile, maybe I need to go to the therapist" Kevin sat down and clear things through by keeping himself calm and observant. "I bet this necklace has something to do with it, maybe if I break it something groundbreaking would happe-" The telephone then rang and Kevin hurriedly answered it. "Hey Kevin! How are you doing?" A loud voice was heard from the line making Kevin think for a second of who this person calling him. "Who are you? and what do you want?" The guy on the phone sighs "You actually forgot about me do you? Well anyways I'm your cousin Jerry, if you remember me we used to read historical and world war books back at the public library. I bet you didn't remember the time when you said good bye when you were leaving me back then" A sudden silence entered the scenery while Kevin is trying to remember his long time cousin, he then snaps his finger as a sign that he remembered their bond together when they were younger. "Oh! I remember you! Jerry! It's so great to finally hear your voice again! Well how's life there?" "Well it's fine nothing usual, Aunt Annalyn is still strict and does often fight with Uncle Rouge" " You mean mama and papa?" "Exactly" Jerry chuckled so does Kevin. "Well I won't be taking long my dear cousin I need to go to work so, right now please take care of yourself and comeback here at the manor anytime okay?" Kevin sighed as a sign of sadness "You know Jerry, I really can't go back right now" "Why?" "Because I don't wanna go back, I love my life here in Florida and I don't wanna go back to that damned hell." Kevin exclaimed with annoyance while his hands were shaking. "Well if you need anything there partner do.let me know, I'll send cash immediately for assistance If you need so." "You don't need to bother Jerry, I'm fine by myself, besides I have a job that pays me big salary." "Well fine anyways I gotta go now or my boss will kill me, see you later or maybe sometime!" Jerry hang up and Kevin puts the phone back to where it should be. "I need to take a bath it feels so hot in here" Kevin took his clothes off and goes to the bathroom to take a bath. As he was on the tub, he still hadn't put away the necklace that the old man gave him and kept on staring at it. Few minutes have passed, he's now done taking a bath and proceeded to his room upstairs for him to change and getting for bed. As he was finished changing he hops on his bed and grabs his phone opens Spotify and puts two earphones on both of his ears while listening to Cigarettes after Sex music. Kevin then fells asleep until, the necklace he was wearing started to glow and made a huge loud noise. Kevin was startled and he immediately got up. "What the hell!" He saw the necklace that was broken into pieces. "The necklace broke something must've happened" His thoughts were flooded with cautiousness and awareness to the surroundings, he quickly rushed to the window to pull the curtains and after that. He was star strucked to what he saw outside of his window. A scenery that he hasn't witnessed for many years of his existence. "Oh my god, what hell is happening."
