After all these years, life was going damn well great for me again.

I was the only one who was banished but my parents who knew the truth resigned from the pack and we had to move to my dad's good old friend's pack. The Alcaders Pack, led by Alpha Lincoln Cruz back then is now led by Josh Hamilton and he's the Alpha's nephew.

He was made Alpha simply because the Alpha's daughter Aberdeen, now my best friend obliged her parents. She didn't want the title and became a warrior of the pack now. Desirably, Aberdeen’s mate Leto didn't want to take over the pack as an Alpha. He really loves his position as being the Beta.

It's funny when we moved here I was not allowed to go anywhere except to stay indoors. I was homeschooled, never allowed to meet anybody else except Aberdeen and Josh.

So after a year of seeing me be a good girl, not causing any more trouble, my parents finally decided to let me join the pack training and everything else associated with the pack.

Six months later, I saw the proud look on my parents' faces when I graduated as one of the top warriors in the pack. It was like I had given them both the world. Reminiscing the memories of their reaction and how they went all out to express their happiness for what I have achieved so far.

But that was back then, the last time I ever saw my parents smiling back at me. Now they are smiling at me from heaven above and I intend to keep it that way.

"Elle," that was Aberdeen.

"Yes."

"Are you ready yet?" she shouted from outside of our room's door.

"Coming!"

I re—adjusted my high waist belted skirt again before smiling in the mirror and juggled my way out from this small room. I couldn't believe it when Alpha Josh said that we were going on his behalf for an important meeting at the Daluna Pack.

I've never been to any other place apart from our pack. I heard whistles and hoots once I reached outside of the house.

'Unmated wolves make way! Here comes the latecomer,' my wolf Eliz joked in my head.

'I just couldn't believe we're finally going somewhere,' I nodded agreeing to my wolf.

After all those years, I was finally getting to see the world again. My wolf whimpered when our thoughts reach the surface of our memories. I quickly reminded her of our motto: past is in the past... Just let it go. So keep on smiling.

Alpha Josh saw the smile on my face which he nodded his head and warned me not to get into any trouble. I beamed with excitement turning around to face the front in my seat, my hand reaching for the music to be played.

"Noooooooo!" Aberdeen screamed at me but too late it's already been played.

I continued singing from where I left off in my room, "you got me high so fast...."

Aberdeen face—palmed herself, while Eliz whimpered in my head. On the other hand, Beta Leto just shook his head to the rhythm of the music.

I was so excited to be away from the pack. I'm not looking forward to anything, just a feeling of being adventurous. The journey starts here, by going to this meeting and many other things to do and go to.

To meet my mate is no longer a quest anymore, as that fate was sealed years ago. He's gone a few years ago, no more him and I don't want to dwell in it as it will only sadden Eliz.

We arrived at our destination after driving for an hour. My back hurts a little not used to this. I stretch my arms, while Leto talks to one of the warriors, maybe another beta before mind linking us to get out of the car.

"Do you think they have hotties?" Aberdeen's eyes went up, "Get out Elle, and yes as you see there's a hottie out there for you." she retorted while pointing at a guy in front of the house door.

"Ouch," I winced and she laughed.

"I know you... you kept asking those questions but never in million years have you liked anyone," she got out signaling for me to do so.

I imagined in my head what they do in movies. For my entrance, the door opens slowly, legs out first, and then swiftly gets out of the car like those sexy models or even better an actress during an award entrance.

Camera, Lights then action here we go. I did what I thought would be epic for me, as a grand epic. So in my head, I keep replaying those moves over and over again.

'All male wolves! Here comes the sexy, unstoppable, the one and only!' Eliz announced in my head.

I opened the door, legs out, and oops the wrong move I almost tripped, so much for being the best actress of the year. So embarrassed I smiled at the hottie who looked my way with concern.

Eliz laughed in my head uncontrollably and all I could tell myself was stupid.

Aberdeen nudged me on the shoulder asking with concern, "Are you okay?"

I answered, "Of course, why wouldn't I be?" trying to clear away the embarrassment.

I took a look again at the packhouse, which is a two—story.

"Not all pack members live here." I heard the beta of the Daluna Pack said probably to our Beta Leto and Aberdeen since I haven't talked to him due to my embarrassment.

"Apologies this is Elle, our top warrior. Elle meet Lucian Kavril, Daluna's beta." Leto introduced us I look and saw his hand extended which I shook in return.

He eyed me up and down.

"I must say the design is extraordinary," my eyes on the packhouse again.

"Yeah, our Alpha designed it himself." Lucian stood beside me with his eyes now back on the house.

I smiled, "it's beautiful."

Aberdeen pinched me on the shoulder but I couldn't bother because this house really made me want to own it someday. I know most people want to live in it but I want to own it, there is a difference between living and owning it.

"The alpha is here."

Lucian announced then we heard footsteps coming from inside. I began to get nervous all of a sudden, I keep fiddling my hands. Aberdeen slaps me on the back.

The footsteps draw nearer that's when I smell a divine scent. Eliz howled in joy as I stood there in confusion.

The door opened, he came in to view as the scent becomes stronger, one word in my head 'damn' while Eliz screamed in excitement 'Mate! Mate!'

Another word popped up in my head——

'IMPOSSIBLE!'
