Catherine's Pov
..Beep...Beep...Beep...
I groaned then turned the alarm off. I hate waking up early damn why does the sun rise so early, does the moon loves the sun so much that it dies every morning so that the sun can rise.."wow" I'm a poet now.
Giggling at my thoughts I made my way to the bathroom I did my daily routine and after my shower, I made my way to my walk—in closet. I got dressed and did my make—up. I applied a thin layer of mascara to my naturally long eyelashes and some nude lipstick.
After I got ready I went downstairs and made some pancakes then I had my breakfast and grabbed my car keys. I guess you must be wondering about my parents .....well they are dead for me, I ran from home when I was 17 years and since then l live alone
okay so coming back to the present, I made my way to my matte black Audi R8 ...ohh I love my car his my baby....well u would be thinking how can I afford such an expensive car and apartment?? I work in the Bluth company as a Secretary so I get good pay I started my car and made my way to the office.
I've worked here for 2 years and I am Mr Alexander Brown's Secretary has the CEO of the company
Once I reached the office I parked my car and made my way inside.
"Good Morning Amelia", I greeted the receptionist.
"Good Morning dear " she greeted me back with a smile
I made my way to my cabin and saw some files there. I started to check and edit those files then at 9 o'clock I went to a small cafe which is beside the office and ordered a black coffee for Mr Brown and a cappuccino for myself
After I paid the cashier I went to Mr Brown's office and knocked on the door
"come in, he said so I went inside
"Good morning gorgeous,e said with a sweet smile
If it was some other girl then they would have fallen for his charms I got to say he's handsome like very handsome but he's just my boss and a very good friend.
"good morning to you too Alex" I replied with a smile I gave him his coffee then sat down
"We have a meeting at 11 o'clock be ready," he said while looking at me.
"saddle taking a sip from my cappuccino.
After a while of talking, I went to my cabin.............
At sharp 11 o'clock and Alexander enters the meeting room and as soon as we entered all eyes were us and let me tell you one thing I hate attention.
I sat down beside Alex and felt some eyes on me. I felt very uncomfortable Alex noticed this and cleared his throat. Throughout the meeting I felt someones stare at me I looked up and my eyes met with pair of light blue eyes.
My breath got stuck in my throat like oh my god his so handsome even the word handsome doesn't describe his beauty.
He had no emotion in his eyes and his lips ohh god don't even ask about it arghhh cathe stop it.
My eyes met his eyes again and he smirked making me blush and look away. Through the meeting, I felt his eyes on me and did nothing but just bite my lips.
After we went outside. Alex came and stood beside me ." aww I saw how he was looking at you through the meeting"
he said with a smirk on his face. "No he wasn't, stop it, Alex," I said while hitting his arm playfully.
I felt a presence behind me and I turned around to see the same man with the blue eyes but his eyes were a different blue which I haven't noticed before.
"Hello I'm Luciano king, "he said holding his hand out for me to shake.
"Hello I'm Catherine Knight," I said in a small voice while slowly shaking his hand.
Alex pulled me to his side by my waist making Luciano glare at him then he left. I turn to Alex and opened my mouth to say but before I could he opened his mouth
"He's a very dangerous man cathe stay away from him" but why I asked with a frown on my face ." just do as I say, "he said then left.
................After Work................
I came and was very tired I had my shower and wore a pair of shorts and a tank top and made some chicken soup for dinner and then I had my dinner while watching tom and jerry. I Don't care how old I am I still love cartoons I was watching the cartoon when I started to think about Luciano King. I wonder who he was and why did Alex told me to stay away from him ...after dinner, I washed my dishes then went to sleep.
