A woman was seen,crying by the seaside. It was a cool evening. The sun had almost started giving way to the night king,The Moon. It was yet another day for another one of her misfortunes. She had just lost another baby.

　　It had been four years since she got married to her husband whose name was Felix.

　　She has had several miscarriages since that time and they were in desperate need of a child,be it male or female.

　　She was in the hospital three days ago for a scan and it was revealed to her that she had an embryo in her.

　　She went to her gigantic mansion that day,not knowing if she was gonna be happy or sad.

　　She kept it to herself and decided not to tell Felix about it.

　　Now she had lost the embryo,she felt proud for not telling Felix and at the same time dejected for the loss of the embryo.

　　She couldn't take it anymore again. She ran to her comfort zone,the seaside and let it all out. The seaside. It has always made her less sad. She had loved this place even as a child. She would come here whenever she felt sad. It seemed she hadn't outgrown her love for this place.

　　Why!!!!!! Why me!!!! Miranda said, picked a stone and threw it out.

　　Unknown to her,a mermaid had always watched her and felt pity for her. The mermaid felt really sorry for her predicament.

　　Miranda picked yet another stone and threw it towards the sea to let out her frustration. It almost landed on the mermaid but she was quick enough to stretch her hands and redirected the stone away from herself.

　　The mermaid could not hold it anymore as she was filled with so much empathy for the crying woman. But as she swam closer to the weeping woman, she noticed something odd about the woman.

　　She didn't know where to pinpoint it but....."The weeping woman wasn't a mere mortal" She thought. She had to clear her doubt's and at the same time, help the woman..

　　Hey there! I said trying to get her attention.She sniffed and turned back to face me..... Ha! W....what are you? She said stuttering. She's obviously never seen a mermaid before. She was scared....

　　"Don't be scared of me, I won't hurt you and I certainly do not bite". I said and it seemed to calmed her down. Hi I'm Gwen. I said thrusting my hands forward for a handshake.

　　She looked at my forwarded hands,waiting for a handshake and reluctantly thrusted hers too I'm Miranda . She said.

　　Immediately our hands touched, we yelped together and quickly disengaged from the handshake.

　　When we shook hands,it felt like we were electrocuted. What did you do to me! Miranda shrieked.

　　"Look, I did nothing to you okay? Besides,you weren't the only one that felt the pain okay? I also did" Gwen said and scoffed.

　　"Okay.I'm sorry about that" Miranda said and I smiled. It's okay.

　　Now I have an offer for you.. I said to Miranda.

　　"What could that be? She asked me.

　　I'd give you a child. I said and her eyes beamed.

　　"Really"? She said smiling and I nodded. "But on one condition.

　　But the condition will be made known to you when your husband is present. Come here tomorrow by this time. Gwen said,and swam back into the water,splattering splashes of water on Miranda. Miranda felt a little bit of hope surge through her and she went home a happy woman that day.

　　It was finally the next day and Miranda could not wait for that time to come. Soon,it was dusk and the woman and her husband drove to the seaside. The man had been questioning his wife about the visit to the seaside but the woman remained adamant and refused to tell him a thing claiming it was a surprise and he'll find out when they had gotten to the seaside.

　　Soon enough, they arrived at the shore and the mermaid was sitting on a rock,waiting patiently for her supposed guests.

　　We're here,Miranda announced their presence and the mermaid turned to look at them.

　　"Took you long enough" Gwen muttered and swam toward the shore.

　　"Is this supposed to be some kind of joke?" Felix asked thinking it wasn't a real mermaid. Calm down Felix, Miranda said calmly. This is Gwen, a mermaid and she claimed she could give us a child. Miranda explained and the man seemed to calm down a bit. Ohh. I didn't think of that" Felix said and shrugged..

　　The mermaid swam to the shore and touched her shelled necklace and it glowed,turning her into a human.

　　Whoa! Miranda said. "Come with me" Gwen said and started walking but she almost tripped but Felix was fast enough to catch her. "Thanks, you know,it's been long since I used these land legs" Gwen said and they chuckled. "Right" Miranda and Felix said at once.

　　They walked and got to a dead end. "Don't worry" Gwen said and walked through the wall. Miranda and Felix looked at themselves and followed thus.

　　Welcome! To the enchanted Forest. Gwen said and they marveled at the sight before them.

　　Don't stare too much she said and started walking. Ugh

　　I'm tired. Gwen said.. Me too. Miranda said and they stopped to catch their breath.

　　Okay. This is the place. Gwen said and stretched her hands and a paper appeared.

　　"I'll give your wife a child which would be a girl child.

　　When your child

which will be a girl

is of age,she'll get married to my son.

　　If she doesn't marry my son,she will die. Gwen said over the phone and gave her a go . Felix couldn'tcome he taken

　　Gwen stretched out her hands and light shone out of it... The light was so bright that Miranda had to shut her eyes to avoid being blinded.

　　Gwen was muttering words she couldn't hear and was sweating profusely.

　　Miranda on her own felt her stomach become heavy.. It is done. Gwen said and Miranda gradually opened her eyes..

　　Bye! Gwen said and swam right back to the water. A man had seen all that happened. He gasped. Oh no! That woman doesn't know she's a hybrid.
