*Ring ring ring* screams the alarm, it echoed throughout my room, I sat up and turned it off on my phone, I sighed as I got out of bed, a yawn followed close behind, "good morning me...I guess I should get ready for work" I said in a sad way.

Throwing on my clothes and quickly puting on my shoes as I climb out the window and down the side of my house, I looked through the window seeing my father passed out drunk on the couch, and my mother washing dishes. I run through my messy yard and jump over the fence.

"I work in the arcade in my small town, new faces and old ones everyday, people usually only come on dates, or with their little siblings, all I do is clean up their messes"

"DANIEL YOU MADE IT!" a little girl named Abby said, she is a regular here, she lives next to the arcade, she runs up to me and hugs me, her hair pulled back in a braid, and she has her little princess gown on, "of course I made it, I missed you princess" I say to her

"Daniel, come get changed, you need to sweep" my coworker Zoey said, "Yes ma'am, I'm coming, I'll try to win you a toy later, ok Abby?"

I said, she says ok and runs off.

I go change then I grab the broom and start sweeping, that's when he walks in, tall, hansom, dark fluffy hair, several ear piercings, and dark clothing, he started approaching me, "hello welcome to-" I say before he interrupts me, he starts giggling, "I swear, are you all robots?" He says, "I'm sorry, what?" I reply In confusion,

"You don't have to welcome me just talk to me like a normal person, what's your name?" He says, "I'm Josiah", "I'm Daniel" I say back

We talk for a little while before we know it, it's already dark, "I guess I should head home" I say "will I see you again?"

"Maybe" he says, I smile and run to the changing room, Zoey and the other workers are back there smoking, "Hey, Daniel, give this to your dad, tell him you get more this weekend" Zoey said, "and don't thank me. Just go home"

I nod my head and go change, then I head home.
