She walked as fast as she could but the two hefty and dangerous men following her seem to be more faster than her. There were just a few steps away from her, she whimpered and ran but they caught her, carried and pinned her forcefully to the floor
"Help me!"She screamed when they tried to cover her mouth with their palms. They tore her blouse and skirt. She had started crying already thinking that would be the end for her but then, an unknown creature or human grabbed them from behind, their screams filled her ear and she spranged up from her sleep sweating profusely.
"Why do I keep having this same nightmare"? She asked herself then a huge bang fell on her door
"Kira"! The being outside shouted. Hearing the voice, she got up from bed Immediately and rushed to the door. She opened and met her step sister Preet, standing with her usual make up
"Shouldn't you be outside now washing my clothes"?! She shouted at her.
Kira sighed. "It's still early in the morning,it's 7:00 am for Christ's sake and it's Sunday..."
"So?"Preet snapped
"Get downstairs now or I will tell mum"! She said and walked downstairs with her butt swaying left and right. Kira sighed and closed her door. She went to the bathroom and washed her eyes. She thought of Robbie, her lover as she did this and smiled then she remembered what happened to her a long time ago. She thought of how and what are life would be if it wasn't for the being who saved her. She wasn't sure if it was an human because the look of him exactly like that of a devil to her. He looks scary
"Thank you so much...."She muttured
"Kira"! Her step sister shouted her voice, it could destroy a building if it wasn't strong. She got out of her room and ran downstairs but all she got was a sleep from her step mother

"Don't tell me you are!"She shouted at her giving her another round of slap again. A tear fell from her eyes. Her dad came out of the house and walked passed them showing no feelings. He has stopped caring about her ever since he got married to Hanuel after the death of her mother.
"Here"Hanuel said and stretched out some money to her
"Got the seventh shop and get me a beef meat"She said and she collected t. She wore her slippers and made to walk away but then Preet drew her back by her hair making her to groan in pains
"When will you wash my clothes?"She asked letting go of Kira's hair
"Your mum just send me an errand to the seventh shop!"She replied
"So?"Preet snapped again and she scoffed
"So?"Kira asked incredible gaining more confidence, Hanuel had already gone to the kitchen which was far from their spots
"Your mum sent me an errand to the seventh shop to our house to get a beef meat and here you are doing nothing but asking to wash your dirty clothes for you and all you can say is so??"She said
Preet opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out of it. She closed it and thought for a while, she looked at Kira's face and slapped her. It was an unexpected event for her
"I will rip your tongue if you dare speak to me in that manner again..."She said and walked inside. Kira rubbed her cheeks and walked out. It wasn't a new thing to her, she gets slapped by her whenever she says too much.
Sometimes,she would feel like running to somewhere far away from her home but that would only add to her problems. Seventh shop wasn't far from Robbie,her poor boyfriend's house so she decided to Branch at his place.

They both walked out of the pork shop holding hands
"You know,I wasn't expecting you today? Never knew your wicked step mother would allow you"He said

"I called the lady at the seventh shop before you went there..."Hanuel said and faces her
"Do you know why I have been telling you to put an end to the relationship between you guys?"She asked

"So that you will not be d up hurting yourself..."She said and collected the pork from her and walked to the kitchen. Preet grinned then Kira had an intuition that something was definitely wrong. She stood up and moved closer to Vicky
"What happened"? She asked then he pointed at the stairs. She looks at the stairs and ran to her room only to see her little clothes packed in a bag already
"What's going on? Is she chasing me out of my dad's house now?"She thought and ran back downstairs she went on her knees
"Please.... Save me this once, I'm.sorry I talked back at Preet,please.."She pleaded
Hanuel laughed."I'm not chasing you, you just got sold out..."She said and resumed frying some chickens
"What?"Kira muttered
"Get ready dear, I sold you to a king at Umao, it's not really far from here..."Hanuel said with no stress.
"Umao?"Kira muttered. She has never heard of that name so she knew or thinks she was joking
"What are you still doing here? Shouldn't you practice how you would serve your man.... monster"? She said
"Are you serious"?
"Damn serious."She replied
"But...but why will will you even do that!"She shouted at Hanuel as tears dropped out of her eyes
"Why would you sell me out without my consent! Who are.you! Are you my mother!"She shouted at her. Hanuel took a knife and hit her cheek with her. She groaned in pains and held the door
"I decide what happens to you "She said
"Get you there and be ready!"She shouted. Kira sniffed and ran to her room . She slammed the door and went bitterly
"Sold out? I'm I that useless? Who knows what the king is gonna make me. He is definitely going to make me hissed machine I'm sure he has a lot of wives already, why is this happening to me?"
She stood up and sat on the bed. She wished the man who saved her the other day would just come out and kill Hanuel immediately. A huge knock fell on the door
Candy, a short lady with a blonde hair walked in without waiting for a response from Kira. She wore a blue shirt and a short skirt with hardly reached her thighs
"Hey.."She said softly and walked up to Kira
"Is everything okay? You are crying" she said and sat beside her
"Your sister....." Kira said, crying. Yes, Candy's a sister to Hanuel but they are different entirely. Candy is a friend to Kira and a cousin, she's nice and sometimes, can be crazy. A typical club girl who doesn't take nonsense
"I heard everything, sorry I wasn't around to take your side..."She said
"It's a joke.right? She didn't sell me right?"Kira asked and she sighed
"I think she means it..."She replied
"Oh no! I think I have to abscond now."Kira said and stood up
"And where re you going?"Candy asked. She continued."The King's mother will find you, I know Umao very well ."She said and Kira bursted into tears again
"Come on, you should be happy that you are going to be a Queen..."
"To someone I don't know? And besides, what's going to happen to Robbie?"
"Goodness,I have told you to stop talking about him, he is a poor thing"

"Love...love....love....."Candy rolled her eyes

Sal watched the maid as she set the table.
"I'm done sir." She said with a bow and stepped aside. Mrs Anne walked out of a corner and sat down
"Son, are.you not eating?"She asks then he stood up and walks to the dinning with one of his hands in his pocket. His security pulled out a chair for him and he sat down. He took a fork and opened the prepared food.
"Eloim is managing the company well, he is doing fine..."His mother said trying to bring up a conversation about his brother even when he didn't want to listen to it
"Can you please not talk about him now?"He asks
"You two really have to get together."she replied

Kira stayed in her room all day thinking of what her step mother told her in the morning. She prayed silently that it was all a joke or dream. The door to her room opened and candy came in again all dressed to go to club as usual
"Stop doing this to yourself. Will you?"She said to her. She got no reply. She sighed with an eye roll
Kira suddenly stood up. "Can I go with you?"She asks making Candy astonished
"Are you serious?"She asks and she nodded
"No problem, let's go and shake away the sorrow.."Candy said smiling at her. She waited for her to get dressed

"Hey, are you going to a vigil?"Candy asked and pointed at her dress
"Why?"
"Cause your outfit is out of it.."She emphasized and because more suspicious
"Are you sure you don't have a aim? A goal?"She asks and Kira laughed
"Wait here, I will go get you one of my dress" she said and went out of her room. Kira sighed and sat on the bed. After a while, Candy came back inside and gave her a dress. Kira collected it and wore it. It was okay cause it covered her private parts well unlike Candy's

They entered the club together. The whole place sounded like an echo, ladies walked up and down with their men.
Even with the present situation of the glosmeo, most of them chosed to go to club? Kira thought. They sat down and she was introduced to some friends by Candy

"I should have just stayed at home.."She muttured to herself and drank a cup of magre. She poured another in the cup and drank it

Kira was at the verge of finishing a bottle when she started got tipsy. She got pressed and got up. She tried to be herself but the drink was affecting her already
She walked one after the other moving to a side. Fortunately, she didn't bump into any bad guy on her way. She got to a place far from the club
"This must be the toilet..."She said to herself and walked close to the door. She opened it and was at the verge of entering when she saw something unbelievable. She saw the lady who was being made out with some minutes early already dead on the floor and a strange man was standing beside her. Her heartbeat skipped as she takes a step back
