Clara's POV
"Good morning Your Royal Majesty" one of my maids greeted as I was still in bed
"Morning" I responded casually and stood up
I don't usually reply to their greetings and that's because I want to instill fear in them. I'm just 17 years of age and also a female, they will try to take advantage of me if I don't act coldly towards them.
I got into my bathroom to see the bath tub prepared for me. It was a rose milk bath so I got in after taking off my clothes and just relaxed in the water for about 20 minutes with my eyes closed.
"You can start now" I ordered with my eyes still closed.
The maids actually wash for me because as the queen, my skin has to be beautiful and flawless.
They finished bathing for me and I stepped out of the water before wrapping a towel around my body.
Some of them opened my wardrobe, searching for the perfect outfit I will be wearing while the rest applied lotion and other creams on my body.
After about an hour, I was finally done dressing up and I headed to the dining room. I kind of feel sad anytime I'm about to eat, I prefer eating in my room most of the time.
Sitting alone at this long table with different delicacies always make me feel lonely. If I had parents or siblings, we would eat together at this table.
I shrugged the thoughts off and sat gracefully at the table waiting for the maids to take a spoon of the food first.
Well, I don't know who is trying to kill me so the least I can do to avoid that from happening is taking preventive measures.
"Are everyone gathered in the hall?" I asked one of my guards when I finished my meal
"Yes my queen"
"Good. Lead the way"
We went to the hall and immediately the members of the council and other people present in the council noticed me, they rose to their feet.
"Your Royal Majesty!" They greeted with their head bowed in obeisance
I sat down calmly before they also took their seats.
"So, what do we have to discuss today?" I asked no one in particular but one of them definitely has to give me an answer
"Your highness, Richard and his people are planning to wage war against us" one of the elders stood up and said with his head bowed
"O.. Kay, but how did you find out?" I asked curiously
"A spy was sent by me into their territory" he replied with his head still bowed
"Good job. I will reward you for that later. We still need someone that will be brave to go into our biggest enemy's territory. I don't need to mention the name because you all know who I'm talking about.
Any other thing to discuss?"
"No my queen except for the fact that we caught a spy among us" another person said
"A spy in this kingdom? Bring him here" I ordered
"Here he is Your Majesty"
I stared at him for a while thinking of the best punishment to give him. The punishment for that is automatically death but I don't like passing such cruel sentences.
"Throw him in the dungeon. That will be all for today" I said and left the hall with my guards
Taking care of the kingdom for about three years now hasn't been easy for me. As a young girl, I had to go through so much hardship to be able to attain this position today.
I think I should pay a visit to the earth today since I don't have any other thing on my schedule.
Jason's POV
"What else do I have on my schedule today?" I asked my PA when we got back from a meeting
"Nothing sir. You're free for the rest of today"
"Alright. You're dismissed" she bowed and left
This is how my life has been after taking over some of my Dad's companies. Work! Work!! and Work!!!
The girls I've dated in the past were only after my money but I recently found one that is different from them two months ago.
She has been supportive and caring, just the best girlfriend you could ever ask for.
"Good evening baby" I cooed when she picked the call
"Evening honey. How is work going?"
"Fine. You didn't even call me since money, it's not fair" I said with my lips pouted
"Ohh... I'm sorry, I've been a little busy. Besides, you told me your schedule for today is really tight"
"Yeah.. but I don't have much work to do now"
"Okay, so will you come over"
"No, I still have some unfinished business. I will come over tomorrow"
"Alright. I love you" she said and blew kisses over the phone
"I love you too" I replied and ended the call
What more could I ask for? Absolutely nothing! Well, except for the fact that I need a helping hand to run this company.
Should I pay her a visit? Hmm... Since I don't have anything I'm doing presently, seeing her is not a bad idea.
I picked up my phone to inform her about the change of plans but on a second thought, I kept my phone back.
I've never paid her a surprise visit before so let me do that today. I'm sure she will be so happy to see me.

"John, take me to Julian's house" I said to my driver and seconds later, we were on our way.
John parked the car and opened the door for me while I got down and went inside.
I knocked on the door but got no response. Isn't she home? I guess so.
I turned around to leave when I heard something fell inside, it seems she's home.
I knocked one more time but still got no response then I tried opening the door and surprisingly, it gave way.
Silly me! I should have tried opening it before.
I walked fully inside to see some clothes scattered on the floor in the sitting room. Why will Julian litter the floor with her clothes?
I shrugged the thoughts off and took the stairs heading to her room.
The door was slightly opened so when I pushed it, it gave way instantly.
The sight I met made my legs wobble and it took a while before I realized I was now seated on the floor.
"Julian" I called
"I'm dreaming" I muttered pinching myself hard wanting to wake up from this nightmare but nothing changed.
Everything was exactly the way I met it.
I thought Julian told me she loves me few minutes ago, she even blew kisses so.. h.. how come?
"I thought you said you won't be chanced to come over today?" Julian asked when she finally found her tongue
"Is that why you asked a random guy to satisfy you? You could have just told me you missed me and ask me to come over, I will definitely do anything for you"
"No Jason. I don't love you, I never loved you from the start. It was all a plan to extort money from you" she explained and I felt a loud bang in my head
"You're joking right? Tell me anything you want, anything at all and I will do it for you. Just please, don't do this" I said close to tears
I don't want her to see how broken I am but at the same time, I'm not sure I will survive this.
"Please leave Jason and don't ever come here again, I need some time with my boyfriend"
I looked up at her and saw she really meant everything.
Slowly, I stood up and left her house with just one place in mind. The beach!!
