"Render! What the heck! Come 'on here! Arggg!" He sighed angrily but I did not touch him or look back, I pretended to hear nothing. I continue reading my newly brought book its kinda good and interesting.
"Render, climb up here!" He shouted nervously. I still ignored her but got up and moved to another chair.
A few hours later she did not call me again. I was about to walk towards the kitchen when I saw her glaring at me. I always see her like this when ---
"Did you see my bikini? I can't find it! Gosh! It's always missing! Is there a ghost in this house?" She said in an irritated voice. I just secretly laughed because even his ears were red and raging with anger.
"Ghost aren't real, Amethyst. You're imagining things again, "I said. I started to walk and I called Xebro instead, my buddy.
"Xebro, activate." I chant as I hit the power button. Xebro started to blink.
"Hi master! Master Render! I miss you Master. Did you miss me?" Xebro started to walk towards me, an attempt to reach me when I stopped him.
"Alright, I know you're not gonna lose. Yeah, I kinda miss you Xeb," I said. I smiled at him when his eyes gets wide and jump like an idiot.
"I know you love me, Master more than you love Lady Amythyst."
Xebro's smile becomes wider. I laughed silently because I realized that I created the best robot buddy, feel so proud lols.
"Silly, robot," I said as I smiled backthen when I remember something.
Xebro was about to walk away when Amethyst spoke.
"Uhm Xeb," Amethyst said while smiling. Well, hidden agenda. I really knew her actions.
Yes, my Lady?" Xebro answered with a confuse voice.
"Can I ask you something, my dear?" She asked as she lean down to faced Xebro.
"Y-yes mi-milady..." Xebro faked his smile, I laughed.
He turned to me and spoke.
"Shut up! The thrill is gone!" She said with an irritated voice.
I sneezed and looked seriously so that it was not obvious that I knew what would happen next. He turned to Xebro again and then asked.
"Xebro my sweet, you know I don't like liars right?" Amethyst asked. She asked sweetly. I hold back my laughter at what will happen.
"Where did you take my bikini? Did you give it to Suzy again? Xebrooooo!" She shouted. I knew this will happen.
"L-lady Am-Amethyst! Let me explain," Xebro said while running. I can't wait to have a kid in this house maybe it's happier when Xebro is awkward.
I let them chasing each other, I can't ruin it. A week since I got well again Xebro he overheated because he was so nervous about Suzy, a female robot and my newest invention.
I looked at them again before I went up to my office.
Welcome, Master Render. You are now in your destination. Ground floor. Render's office. Good day, My Master.
Ele, my elevator said as I reach the underground laboratory which where my office is located. Amethyst and I live in together for two years , but not yet married. It's not important in our era as long as you love each other and you can provide for a family.
I walk towards my office to see that the door is open. I quickly grabbed my silencer gun. My jaw dropped when I saw who was inside.
"My Scientist! Render my oh-so-famous son!" She said in a loud voice, dripping with noise and like a microphone reading eardrums.
"We haven't visited you in a long time, how are you and Amethyst?" My father asked while smiling.
"We're fine dad," I firmly answered.
"Looks like you're doing a lot huh," mom said as she walked inside the laboratory.
"Kinda, I've fixed Xebro. Amethyst and I are chasing upstairs," I laughed softly as I remembered what had happened earlier.
"We're not any younger, Render son. Give me and your dad a grandchild. I can no longer wait for little Amethyst and little Render or you and Ame get married," my mom said. I immediately fell silent before answering.
"Mom, It's dangerous, you know, the mayor of our town has warm eyes on me. I can't risk Amethyst life. I can't afford to lose her."
Its true that our mayor does not want to be overtaken by anyone so he does everything to stay ahead and up. People's desire will never end unless they died.
"You have a point, son beside, Render is just 27, hon."
Dad turned to me and smiled. They all say that he will take care of it.
I looked at the brown envelope held by mom suddenly I become curious because they will not visit for no reason.
"So, mom and dad. What is that envelope? Care to share?" I asked as they suddenly looked at each other. I knew it was a problem that happened in town.
Dad coughed before he answered.
"That's why your mom and I came here because of this," dad handed me an envelope.
I opened it and an envelope containing a hologram chip appeared. I put it on my cellphone and opened it.

"Melinco Virus: The Newest Pandemic"
Melinco Virus; The new disease that has entered our country. There are Japanese intruders who are said to be suffering from the disease. This compares to the epidemic that has spread in the Philippines and around the world called Corona Virus Disease or known as Covid 19 that killed millions of people thousands of years ago. It is said to target a person's heart and stop its heartbeat as opposed to Covid19. Will Covid 19 be as bad as the Melinco Virus? Will Melinco Virus be cured as soon as possible?
Covid 19? Thousand Years ago? Million of lives? Interesting. I did not read the whole thing and immediately turned to them. I looked them in the eyes, obviously they were waiting for an answer.
"Bring me to the town. I want to check the patients by myself," I said as I get my coat.
"All right, we'll go first or will you come with us? You'll have head cuffs, son, you might get infected! Oh!" Mom said irritably and even touched both my cheeks as if I were a little boy injured.
"I will mom and I'll just take Ranger. Don't worry about me, okay? Be careful dad," I said then kissed their cheeks and said goodbye to leave.
After fixing my head cuffs I went upstairs to say goodbye to Amethyst and Xebro.
"Love, I'll be going with mom and dad, just take care of yourself. Xeb take in charge. I love you," I said as I kissed her forehead.
"Sure love, take care. Don't worry about us. We can do it."
"Master! Master! I will take in charge! I will take in charge!" Jumping says Xeb. He give me a high five before I go in the garage to get Ranger.
" Ranger," When I said that, he immediately glowed and turned towards me.
"Welcome, Master Render. This is Ranger and I will take you to your destination. Just say the address and I will drive safely," Ranger said.
"Ranger, open the door," I commanded and he obeyed immediately. I went inside and adjusted my head cuffs.
"Where to, Master?" I answered him immediately.
"Herarde Medical Institute," I said as the door shut and Ranger continued to ride.
A few moments before I left my car, Ranger. I heard a whisper from outside.
Is that Render's car?
Render Gregory ?!
Ampogi non!
I heard that his car is automatic, it looks expensive.
They said that it was automatic!
Our world is different. These is 3045. No more fresh air and such. All around and all you can see is pure artificial. From the wind, mountains, beachs and more. There is nothing left, everything is destroyed.
Enviable when we see the beautiful scenery in the pictures. Clear water and what what else. We still have shops here but everything we do is made of robots.
You heard it right, robots. Because everything was only temporary we thought the robots were just moving for us and no one else. They last longer and act faster but this is what makes people lazy.
"Open the door, Ranger. Close it after then go home," I command.
"Yes, Master Render. Have a safe journey."
I got out of my car and it automatically closed and left as I said. I was about to enter the hospital when four ambulances arrived. Due to the technology that the country has today, it is quickly incorporated inside and it is easily disinfected.
I put on my head cuff and quickly went inside the hospital. The guards saluted me and I headed to the registral.
"Miss, I heard that some patients were taken to this hospital because of Melinco Virus," I said and quickly took out my doctors' liscence and showed it to the nurse.
"Render Gregory, I'm a liscense doctor,"
The nurse stopped and looked around with restlessness. I also noticed her trembling and clasping her palms as she talked to me.
"I'm sorry sir, you are not allowed to enter."
What is she talking about?
