It's a market day in the kingdom of Narva. People could be seen moving about, engaging in one activity or the other. Both men and women could be seen displaying their market products trying to persuade passers-by to buy.

Knights, walking about with swords strapped to the sheath, some on horses while others patrolling the market place with spears in their hands.

This day happens to be a very elated day in the Land of Narva, but it also turned out to be a miserable and unforgettable day in the lives of those who remained.

In the mid noon, the whole kingdom of Narva was still filled with happiness and celebration for there was good news from the castle, but then, there was an unexpected attack in the kingdom, the happiness radiating the kingdom died down immediately, people started running for their lives, mother's trying to protect their children, people were slaughtered like animals, innocent lives were taken, even the armies of Narva were no match for the invaders. Amidst the shambles a man could be seen fully armoured, he turned to a huge looking man beside him and said"get warriors to go into the castle, kill every single soul there, burn down the castle", he paused for a while and added"make sure we get enough slaves then we burn down the whole kingdom".

This Novel explores the life of Eleanor Roberts, a young maiden from the kingdom of Narva, who was taken into slavery some years back. Eleanor is one of those maidens you'd say "turns every head when she walks in the room", she is one of the most beautiful maidens in the whole Kingdom of Narva. She is loved by everybody for her generous attitude and respect for everyone both young and old. Eleanor is a happy and brave girl who fears nobody. Amongst the other maidens in the kingdom, Eleanor is the most courageous. But what happens when she is subjected to slavery, where she has no power over herself.
